SCHEDULE "A" PART - I [CIVIL WORKS]
Dismantling of under water reinforced cement concrete of any description as in piles including cutting / separating of reinforcement and liner up to bed level complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for ( reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) Roofs, floors other than ground floor, beams, stair cases, landings, chajjas and similar suspended work including cutting / separating of reinforcement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Removing of demolished/dismantling cement concrete debris to a distance exc 10.0km and n.exc 15.0km including loading and unloading and depositing outside the MD land complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Definition of load shall be as per section 21 of SSR Part-II.
Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Taking down chowkats or frames n.exc 1.5 Sq.m. each with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frame) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Dismantling of rolling shutters of any gauge/ thick of lath including all fittings complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Material & labour for drilling or boring for 1300mm nominal dia. bored cast-in-situ piles through any or all types of strata i.e soft/ loose soil, stiff clay, gravel, cobble stone, compact moorum, soft conglomerate or loose boulders, disintegrated rock, weathered rocks etc., (except hard rock for socketing depth) up to top of socketing depth/founding depth by adopting suitable method with perennial water and disposal of drilling/bored materials to a distance exc. 10.00 km and n.exc 15.0km and depositing where directed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
All as per Item No.1.07 here-in-before but through hard rock for founding depth minimum 1.0 Mtr in rock for 1300mm nominal dia piles complete.
Notes for Item Nos. 1.07 and 1.08:- (i) The depth of boring for piles shall be measured from existing ground/sea bed level (as per soundings/reduced levels taken at the commencement of work) to the approved founding level. (ii) It shall be ensured that the waste bentonite slurry/ drilled or bored material is pumped off from the premises to locations shown by GE to contractor at his own cost. The distance mentioned in description of item shall be the shortest distance from the centre of the building. (iii) All channels/tanks made for bentonite circulations shall be filled with approved moorum obtained by contractor at his cost after clearing all bentonite cakes. (iv) The contractor may use any approved method as approved by GE for boring without any extra cost to the Govt. The rates for boring of piles shall be inclusive of any method/ casing that may be used by the contractor for bored piles. Nothing extra shall be paid. (v) For the purpose of payment of boring/drilling, description of hard rock shall be as given in particular specification.
Notes (Contd..,):- (vi) The size of cutting tool shall not be less than diameter of pile by more than 75mm. (vii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of the rates for the shifting and setting up of piling rig as many times as required. (viii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of mobilisation/ demobilisation of suitable gantry/access with all connected facilities required for execution of piling work / completion of the work in sea bodies as per Schedule "A" note. 32 (ix) Before boring, actual sea bed shall be taken i.e before dredging to find out the actual sea bed level.
Supply, Fabricate and fixing of 20mm thick sheet piles, grade E-350 (350N/sqmm), quality "A" connecting to the touch pile liner as per manufacturer instructions up to (-) 16.00m CD depth site of work, shape as per drawing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Carrying out initial load tests on test piles in marine as per standard procedure laid down in IS-2911 by static load test method with compressive strength in sea water condition including compressive strength including construction of test cap, dismantling the cap after the test and clearing the site and maintaining complete records of load settlements etc. as specified and as directed by GE and submission of reports for 2.5 times of the pile axial load (Limit state serviceability) 4440KN in non-working areas in the vicinity of jetty site, including the cost of new piles for 1300mm dia with specification as same as working pile of "B" row pile with minimum depth of socketing into the hard rock 1.0 Mtr depth complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
All as per item No. 1.10 here-in-before but the pile axial load (Limit state serviceability) is 5370KN including the cost new pile specification as same as working pile of "C" row pile complete.
Carrying out routine load test (working pile) in marine as per standard procedure by high strain dynamic load as per ASTM D-4945-08 with compressive strength in sea water condition including construction of test cap, dismantling the cap after the test and clearing the site and maintaining complete records of load settlements etc and submission of reports for 1300mm dia Piles in "A" row for 1.5 times of the pile axial load (Limit state serviceability) 2170KN complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
All as per item No. 1.12 here-in-before but in "B" row and the pile axial load (Limit state serviceability) is 4440KN complete.
M&L for reinforced cement concrete (Ready mix concrete) by design mix M-40 grade (Using 20mm graded granite stone aggregate) as in bore holes using Portland slag cement and admixture conplast SP-430 A2/ AURAMIX 401or its equivalent make as per list of makes in particular specifications as approved by GE for piles in tremie method including necessary dewatering, formwork, concrete mixed in RMC plant, transporting, placing, compacting, vibrating etc., complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for precast reinforced cement concrete as in pile muffs of grade M-40 (Design mix using 20mm graded stone aggregate) using ready mix concrete including supply and mixing of admixtures, includes the feeding, mixing, formwork, shifting and placing of pre cast units loading of material from stack yard and shifting to location, errection with alignment in true position in complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Quantity of in situ concreteing for developing pile cap shall be included in measurements of this item
M&L for precast reinforced cement concrete as in beams, trench wall of grade M-40 (Design mix using 20mm graded stone aggregate) using ready mix concrete including supply and mixing of admixtures, includes the feeding, mixing, formwork, shifting and placing of pre cast units loading of material from stack yard and shifting to location, errection with alignment in true position complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
All as per item No.1.17 here-in-before but as in slabs complete.
M&L for reinforced cement concrete of grade M-40 (Design mix using 20mm graded granite stone aggregate) using ready mix concrete including supply and mixing of admixtures as in cast -in-situ beams using Portland slag cement and handling, conveyance, errection with alignment in true position complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
All as per item No.1.19 here-in-before but as in slabs complete.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete of grade M-40 (Design mix using 20mm graded stone aggregate) using ready mix concrete including supply and mixing of admixtures as in wearing coat over deck slab of berth and finished with power trowelled complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Chipping of laitance concrete in piles above cut off level up to a maximum of 1m from cut of level using suitable tools and equipments and dressing the pile head suitably so as to receive the form work for deck work, including breaking to the required level exposing the pile reinforcement to sufficient length as per approved drawing for embedding into the deck slab etc., and disposal the debris to distance of exc. 10.0Km but n. exc. 15.0Km at out side the MD land complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for Use and waste of steel/ FRP water tight formwork to sides and soffits beams, stanchions, kerbs and similar work for placement of fair finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge
All as per item No. 1.24 here-in-before but to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, waist slabs, landings and similar work (horizontal or sloping) complete. Notes for item No. 1.24 and 1.25:- (i) While quoting this items, contractor shall keep in mind the methodology that will be followed by him during execution keeping the structural safety, feasibility, safety personal and good engineering construction practices in vogue in the marine/ tidal conditions (ii) Contractor shall include this aspect in his rates while quoting his rates
M&L for reinforcement in any situation using Corrosion resistant TMT steel bars of grade Fe-500D, 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia. or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
All as per item No. 1.26 here-in-before but 6mm dia and upto 8mm dia bars complete.
All as per item No. 1.26 here-in-before but 10mm dia. and over up to and including 16mm dia. as in stirrups, spacers and binders complete.
M&L for providing and installing MS liner including stiffener of grade Fe-410-W Gde E-250 (250N/sqmm), quality "A" for bored cast-in-situ concrete piles with necessary stiffeners, driving shoe with continuous welding including cutting, bending, welding etc., complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- (i) Rate shall be inclusive of cutting the liner at cut off level. The rate is deemed to include for cutting, removal and salvage value of the material so obtained. (ii) MS liner shall be driven up to refusal level/rock touch level, the occurrence of refusal level will be decided by GE at site based on visual inspection of bailer samples from pile bore hole, past experience and laboratory test result. The decision of GE in this regard will be final and binding. (iii) MS liner will be measured and paid up to the cut off level only of pile. Additional MS liner if used for convenience of construction shall be included in the rates quoted. Nothing extra shall be paid separately on this account.
S&F Rolled mild steel framed works for stringers, treads, landings, balusters, hand rails, sheet pile supports, expansion joint etc including cleats brackets etc, plate girder or single stanchion built up to one beam or channel section with flange plates cap bases, splices, angled brackets cleats and other Fe-410-W (Gde E-250 Quality A) complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for Forming 40 mm thick Expansion joints filled with preformed bituminous filler and top 30 mm primed and sealed with sealing compound Grade 'A' for 250mm thick in concrete slab/ column/ beam complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing in position of Cast iron twin horn type Bollard of 30ton capacity of base size 480mm x405mm, overall height of 410mm and edge to edge dimensions of horn 440mm with necessary cutting including concrete chipping, drilling, grouting, welding with deck reinforcement steel and necessary coal tar painting (wherever required) as per manufacturers specifications suitable to marine works (jetty) complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing in position of Pneumatic rubber fender of size 2.5m O.D X 4.0m long with chain type net assembly of 0.5 kilogram per Square centimetre internal pressure including chain, shackles and fixed with hooks as per drawing and manufacturers specifications suitable to marine works (jetty) complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing in position of stainless steel mooring rings of 150mm internal dia fixed with 32mm thick plate with all fittings as per manufacturers specifications suitable to marine works (jetty) complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes for item Nos. 1.33 to 1.35: The detailed drawings / fixing arrangements will be provided by the manufacturers and contractor will get these drawings approved by the DGNP/ users. "Deflection reaction diagram" shall also be submitted along with drawings whenever required.
S&F 110mm bore PVC (SWR) water pipes single socketed in any length fixed as spouts in concrete members complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
S&F MS ladder of size 4500mm x 420mm with rubber coating and fixed to structure with clamps, bolts with nut and washer as suitable to marine works (jetty) as per drawing complete all as specified and directed Engineer-in-Charge.

SCHEDULE "A" PART - II [DREDGING]
Material and labour for dredging in all types of soil including over burden, dense to very dense clay, silt, sand, gravel, soil mixed with gravel moorum, shells pebbles, cobbles, removal of surface boulders up to(-) 13.0m.with suitable dredgers and equipment to the required lines, levels and slopes including removal and transportation of dredged materials and dumping the same in the designated off shore dumping areas up to 10 nautical miles including necessary survey complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- (i) Minimum equipment to be deployed at site are as under:- (a) 01 No BACKHOE supported by 01 No split hopper self propelled/dumb barge dredger of minimum 250 Cum capacity with towing tugs.
Item No. 2.1 Notes (contd..,):- (b) 01 No Boat with advance survey equipment with Hypack software. (c) Any other suitable supporting equipment's required for execution of work. (ii) If any high end equipment used for early completion by the tenderer, nothing extra shall be paid on account of this aspect. (iii) The unit rate shall include mobilization and demobilization of plant equipment surveys during progress of work, rail dragging of the dredged areas to the specified levels after completion of dredging, operation and maintenance all plants and equipment's and crafts manpower, and labour charges, cost of materials, fuel and taxes, insurance etc., as required. (iv) The rate quoted for the above shall includes the third party certification for the quantities of dredging i.e from any one out of the firms mentioned in the particular specifications.
