Earthwork in excavation over areas (Not exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.50 m in width as well as 10 Sq.m. on plan) including disposal of surplus excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.50 m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed.

Earth work in excavation in foundation and trenches in soils containing 50% or more of shingle or small size boulders upto 30 cm size, lift upto 1.50 m and stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 m clear from the edge of the excavation and returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers when required, into plinth, sides of foundation etc consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m
