Checking of earthing, Split pin, check pin etc. in angle of safety point of view, rectification including over all cleaning replacement of split pin, check nut etc. where required.

Wiring for with PVC insulated copper wire in 1" PVC conduit/ casing caping (supply of cables, casing capping by dept) or surface cable laying using saddles as reqd. upto 3 × 4.0 sq. mm inclusive of earth copper wire. ( saddle, conduit at wall crossing are to be supplied by contractor)

Fixing of casing capping up to 1"

Supply of hot dip GI box of size 4" x 4" x2.5" and of 2 mm thick covered with required size phenolic laminated cover (3mm thick white in colour) as and when required.

Replacement or fixing of GI Boxes with cover for switch boxes on wall surface and making the area as good as before. (GI boxes will be supplied by dept.)

Replacement/ fixing of 1 or 2 pole MCB, fuses ( MCB/fuses will be supplied by departmentally)

Replacement of 3 or 4 pole MCB ( MCB will be supplied by departmentally ).

Replacement/fixing of meter including termination & testing as per checklist. ( depositing of old meter to plant side and collection of new meter from plant side store at contractor's scope )

Monthly meter reading of the colony quarter / public building & other occupants of the colony where HWP power supply is given & recording in the meter card & register (per month) as per checklist.

Repairing / replacement of defective components of A,B,D & E type HWP quarter & public buildings. Electrical installation such as switch, socket, Holder, Fan ,regulator, light points and no power supply to any installation. The work also involves cutting of hylam sheet/ fixing of gang box etc. for new replacement.

Checking, testing, installing, repairing, replacing & maintenance of street light fittings & different components including attending the loose connection on the over head lines, jumper connection & attending the defects & re-commisioning the same, service connection / dis-connection to quarters / installation after taking proper safety precaution.

Replacement / fixing of ELCB of quarters including electrical connection & overall fault clearing so that it stands.

Detection / clearing of earth fault in any quarter after any ELCB trip complain.

Installation of Single pole neutral MCB 8 way DB on surface of wall, making the wall as good as before, Fixing & termination of MCBs/ RCBOs/ELCB & earthing, lugging of wires/cables with supply of suitable size reducer lugs, insulation sleeves of class F as when required, Brass cable glanding (gland is supplied by Contractor) and circuit identification, naming (painted) in contractor's scope.

Oil sample collection, replacement of Silica Gel, cleaning and assisting in maintenance of oil of 11 KV/415V Transformers like measuring IR value and BDV test.

Temporary power supply at different location within 30m wiring and connection of MCB/Fuse, energy meter.( material collection from plant stores & safe return to plant in contractor scope )

Housekeeping of HT substation, LT substation at HWP colony by cleaning of floor & roof of entire room weekly including dust cleaning of outer body of panels and transformers.

Refixing of battens of light / fan circuit in case of hanging or detached from wall (one circuit rectification will consider one)

Refixing of switch board, junction box etc. of required size in case of loose or detached from wall.

HWP, colony A,B,D & E type quarters Incoming 230 V main power supply board at staircase, cleaning (with prior permission),Checking of earthing, meter & seals with wiring connection of MCB and repairing of same.( if necessary materials should be supplied by Department )

Supply and fixing of Geyser spares as and when required

Supply of 2KW water heater geyser Thermostat or Thermal cut off relay, ISI marked as per sample provided as and when required.

Supply of 2KW water heater geyser coil, ISI marked as per sample provided as when required.

Replacement of coil / thermostat of geyser in Housing colony quarters and Guest house rooms include electrical connection & necessary water piping connection and make operable. (Geyser coil/ thermostat will be supplied by dept.)

Repairing with replacement of Geyser and making pipe line as good as before (safe deposite of the old one at the site store)

Checking & rectification of earthing, switches,switch boards, lighting, Ceiling fan, ELCB connection and all electrical points during individual Quarter allotment ( supply is include in other item) laying of fresh wire included at no extra cost in case of missing.

Maintenance of earthpits and measurement of Earth resistance of Earth pits.

Registering of complain, updating of history book, maintaining of Material in-out Register, upkeeping of electrical maintenance office on monthly basis.

Maintenance of 230V incoming MCB board/ main switch box of individual A,B&D type quarters including cleaning (with prior permission),Checking of earthing, wiring connection of MCB, tightness checking and repairing of same. ( if necessary, materials should be supplied by Department )

Tree trimming from power line ( All branches of a single tree will be considered as one unit ) at distance of 1.50 mtrs

Glanding & termination of following size cable (Supply of cable gland and lugs is in Dept's scope)

Supply of hot dip GI earth strip of size 3mm X 25mm as per IS : 2629, IS: 4759.

Laying of 3 mm x 25 mm GI earthing strip ( only GI strip will be supplied by dept. or covered in other item)

Fixing of pin/ shackle insulator (Supply of insulator by dept.) against replacement of damaged one and re-fixing of conductors. Dismantling of old one and safe delivery to site store at no extra cost.

Supply and fixing of fabricated MS structure items as per requirement ( i.e. cross arm, lighting support etc). The structure should be painted with metal oxide primer and two coat of synthetic enamel paint.

Detection of fault in any quarter for no power supply(during night from 22:00 hr to 06:00hr) OR in PDBs & in its outgoing circuits OR detection of circuit fault in overhead line and their rectification.

Connection / disconnection of jumper of LT over head line, after taking proper safety precaution and ACSR conductor jointing ( per three phase and ancillary wires etc. i.e. up to 6 wires ).

Supply and erection of 9mtr Tubular steel swaged Pole

Supply of Tubular steel swaged Pole of 9 mtrs length and of designation 410 SP-30 marked confirming to IS: 2713 part-II of size - 139.7+114.3+88.9 mm dia with 4.5 x 4.5 x 3.25 mm thick 5+2+2 mtr length respectively and total weight -140 kg with CI/MS base with base plate of 30 X 30 X 0.6 cm thick bottom welded and pole cap complete. The pole should be painted with one coat of red oxide and two coat of aluminium paint. Bottom of the pole remain inside ground should be painted with bitumen.

Erection of Pole: Cutting of earth of 0.6m length X 0.6mwidth X 1.5 m depth; Supply of sand,cement,stone and erection/concreting the pole in ratio 1:3:6 and 8 SWG GI wire loop length 4 mtr shall be buried with pole (0.5 mtr above + 1.5 mtr down) upto 2 mtr depth for earthing of pole . Two no. of 2 mtr 1" GI pipe by supplying to be grouted/ welded alongwith pole for incoming as well as outgoing looping cable. Fixing of pole box at height of 1 meter above surface of earth on the pole. Numbering of poles after installations. Shifting of all equipments from site stores to required site are in contractor's scope. Pole box will be supplied by dept.

Supply and installation of spares for 45W LED light fittings as per sample provided as when required.

Extra cement concrete 1:2:4 ( 1 cement, 2 sand, 4 graded stone aggreegate of 20 mm nominal size.)

Providing Brick work with common burnt clay F .P .S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level in all shapes and sizes in Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Providing 12 mm cement plaster with a floating coat of neat cement of mix 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) at all levels.

Excavation of earth in all types of soil and back filling and ramming and leveling as per the direction of EIC for cable fault detection etc.

Stringing / restringing of over head line group of conductor ( viz 3 wires, 4 wires, 6 wires etc).

CABLE LAYING : Laying of PVC / XLPE armoured / un armoured 3 or 4 core at depth 900 mm with brick supporting at side & top. Work involves cutting of trench, Backfilling, ramming etc.
