Planning, Designing, Construction and Commissioning of Under Ground Clear Water Reservoir(UGR) with pumping station, HT/LT Sub Station complete in all respect with Retaining wall/boundary wall and other allied works including land development, service road, drain, construction of cable trenches, boundary wall /fencing gates etc and beautification and after satisfactory completion, 3(three) months trial run and thereafter (subsequently) 1 (one) year of operation & maintenance including 1 (one) year of defect liability period as per latest IS specifications, Bid documents and direction of EIC. The Contractor has to prepare detailed design and drawing after required soil exploration test and get the same vetted by any reputed Institution like IIT(KGP), Jadavpur University/BESU etc before taking approval from the Chief Engineer/EIC of BMC for execution. i) UGR of 1000 Cum capacity near Tank No 8 in Salt Lake for Ward No. 28
ii)UGR of 1500 Cum capacity at Shantipally in Ward No. 36 for Ward No. 35 & 36
Planning, Designing, Construction and Commissioning of Elevated Service Reservoir(ESR) with all Head Works complete in all respect with Retaining wall/boundary wall and other allied works including land development, service road, drain, construction of cable trenches, boundary wall /fencing gates etc and beautification and after satisfactory completion, 3(three) months trial run and thereafter (subsequently) 1 (one) year of operation & maintenance including 1 (one) year of defect liability period as per latest IS specifications, Bid documents and direction of EIC. Supply and Delivery at site of ISI Mark Socket and Spigot jointing system centrifugally cast DI ( K9) Pipes conforming to IS 8329-2000 (Third revision) in standard length 4 m, 4.5 m, 5 m, 5.50 m for push-on joint (rubber gasket) with internal cement mortar lining and external protection by metallic zinc coating with finish layer of epoxy/ bituminous coating of outside as per IS: 8329-2000 specification with necessary jointing material rubber gasket (IS: 5382:1985) with all types of DI Specials (K-12) like Tee, Cross, Bends , Reducers , MJ Collar, End cap, tail piece etc. conforming to IS 9523-2000 with cement morter lining (inside) and bituminous coating (outside)including transportation, loading unloading and stacking at site thereafter Laying of Water Pipe line -Rising Main Grid (K-9) with all other associated works including earth work in excavation in trenches, shoring (if necessary) of adequate width having minimum depth to keep the top surface of pipe 1.00M below of the existing ground level in any kind of soil mixed with boulder, metal crust, concrete pavement, any road sub-grade and its flank etc., dewatering the trenches, preparing the bottom surface of the trenches for continuous bedding including sand filling (if necessary) or over ground installation to cross ditches etc. supported with RCC pillars as & when necessary and fitting, fixing, jointing (all types of joints) valves, specials etc. as per requirement, in position, cutting, chamfering of pipes as required, constructing Sluice valve/Air valve/Washout chamber in different sizes for small road where light traffic run and for main road where heavy traffic run as per deptt.approved drawing with 25cm thick brick work (1:6) over cement concrete (4:2:1) over a single B/F soling over150mm.thick sand filling in foundation including earth work in excavation and disposal of excess earth from work site with RCC (1:1.5:3) cover slab 100mm / 150mm thick slab on top of chamber with 1% reinforcement in RCC cover slab with necessary opening for operation of valve including supply and fitting in position Sluice valve/Air valve/Washout chamber of different dia. as per requirement , filling of the trenches with excavated materials, consolidating the same in layers, permanent road restoration in case of cement concrete roads or permanent road restoration in case of bituminous roads, guarding trenches with temporary bamboo railing for safety where necessary, emergency horizontal auger boring ( for roads other than NH & SH) where necessary, removing the surplus materials from site including all labour charges, tools and plants, hydraulic pressure testing as per IS 3114-1965 (Article-6) in section of a length not exceeding 500mtr. for head of pressure as per specification including supplying installing and fixing all equipments such as diesel pump set, blank flange, pressure gauge, valve, pressure pump and all other tools and plants including drilling topping and plugging of necessary holes to pipes, blocking ends providing temporary thrust block and subsequent blocking of holes and other jointing materials and dismantling and removal of the same including disposal of water etc. is inclusive of cost of requisite water to be arranged by the contractor, cleaning and disinfection of pipes etc. complete in all respect and after satisfactory completion, 3(three) months trial run and thereafter (subsequently) 1 (one) year of operation & maintenance including 1 (one) year of defect liability period as per latest IS specifications i/c IS 12288-1987(latest edition), Bid documents and direction of EIC. Submission of complete detailed drawing of distribution system, rising main etc. after execution of work showing position of different types of valves, fittings/specials sluice valve chamber with location, node to node wise in the sanctioned drawing as completion drawing of the water supply scheme as per direction and satisfaction of EIC. i) 300mm ( K9)

Pipe crossing of Biswabangla Sarani by HDD Method (Trenchless Technology) by Supplying, Lowering and Laying of 400 mm dia M.S. Pipe at 3.5 m. below from road top surface to be prepared from 16 mm. thick plate, Supply of 400mm dia M.S. Flange (slipper type) as per IS-6392 Table-17, thickness- 20 mm - 22 mm, Earth work in excavation in foundation trenches or drains in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including necessary trimming the sides of trenches Levelling, Dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required, Rubber gasket joints to Pipes and Specials all complete to make the joint water tight at required as per specification, Flange joint C.I/D.I/M.S. pipes and specials including supply of rubber guskets, nuts, bolts, washer etc. of best quality to make the jint watertight at required hydraulic pressure, upply of 10mm thick M.S Plate including carriage, loading, unloading & stacking at site, Gas cutting of M.S. pipes and/or plates, Field welding of M.S. plates by means of electric arc welding as per relevant I.S. specification using standard electrodes including edge preparation and charges of deployment of electric generation set with fuel, lubricant and all other tools and plants, Lowering, fitting and fixing of all types of valves in proper position and alignment using chain pully block or crane (for diameter above 250 mm) by providing temporary support, as required, gaskets nuts & bolts etc., Derusting, scraping, brushing and cleaning (to the extent of exposing the original surface) the outer surface of manufactured M.S. pipes and specials, applying first coat of synthetic primer Type-B as per IS : 15337 : 2003 of approved make over it and wrapping the same with coal tar based insulating tape 2 mm thick as per IS : 15337 : 2003 of approved make and applying the second coat of synthetic primer Type - B (as specified above) over the first layer of insulating tape and wrapping the same with second layer of 2 mm thick coal tar based insulating tape (as specified above) in staggered pattern (including overlapping at ends) by torching etc. as per manufacturer's specification, Removal of rubbish, earth etc. From the working site and disposal of the same beyond the compound, in conformity with the Municipal/ Corporation Rules for such disposal complete in all respect and after satisfactory completion, 3(three) months trial run and thereafter (subsequently) 1 (one) year of operation & maintenance including 1 (one) year of defect liability period as per latest IS specifications i/c IS 12288-1987(latest edition), Bid documents and direction of EIC.
Temporary Road Restoration upto WBM stage for an width of 900 mm with 150mm excavated soil filling and ramming, 250mm sand filling in layers inundating each layer with water packing and ramming to the desired level of compaction, Brick Flat Soling with picked jhama bricks, WBM Sub base 75mm thick by consolidating jhama metal/laterite chelly or stone metal/shingles of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness in layers and construction of sub base using 1st class brick aggregate and sand in proportion of 60:40 complete in all respect after satisfactory completion (subsequently) 1 (one) year of operation & maintenance including 1 (one) year of defect liability period as per latest IS specifications, Bid documents and direction of EIC.
Permanent Bituminous Road Restoration for an width of 2 meter with preparation and rolling of sub grade, Water Bound Macadam Sub base 75mm thick by consolidating jhama metal/laterite chelly or stone metal/shingles of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness in layers, providing and applying tack coat using Cationic bituminous emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 over prepared surface, 50 mm thick Bituminous Macadam using Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty)-Grading II by using Viscosity grade Paving Bitumen & HMP, Providing, Laying and Rolling of Open Graded Pre Mix Surfacing of 20 mm thickness using Drum Mix type HMP of minimum capacity 40-60 TPH and Providing and laying Premixed Seal Coat (Type B) with approved quality Sand/Grit @ 0.6cum/100 sqm including providing and fixing of road stud 100mm × 100mm complete in all respect after satisfactory completion (subsequently) 1 (one) year of operation & maintenance including 1 (one) year of defect liability period as per latest IS specifications, Bid documents and direction of EIC.
Permanent Concrete Road Restoration for an width of 900mm with 250mm sand filling in layers inundating each layer with water packing and ramming to the desired level of compaction, Brick Flat Soling with picked jhama bricks, 150 mm thick Ordinary Cement Concrete mix (1:1.5:3) with graded stonechips excluding reinforcement and Providing and Fxing of Road Stud 100mm × 100mm complete in all respect after satisfactory completion (subsequently) 1 (one) year of operation & maintenance including 1 (one) year of defect liability period as per latest IS specifications, Bid documents and direction of EIC.
Planning, Designing, Supplying, Installation & commissioning of complete Electro-Mechanical works (E/M Works) at 4 MG existing UGR (13 No Tank) having capacity to supply 10.51 MLD of treated water with 20 hours operation through rising main up to inlet of the proposed 1500 Cum capacity UGR at Shantipally in Ward No. 36 for Ward No. 35 & 36 with necessary electrical (according to I/E rules), mechanical & all other allied works including Vertical Turbine Pumps of required capacity as per design 2 no (1W+1SB), LT Motor 2no, HT Panel(with extension) , Transformer, LT Panel, Control Desk, Valves, Pipes, Flowmeter, Cable, Pressure Gauge, Pressure Transmitter, Fabrication & Earthing, DOE Charges, CESC/WBSEDCL Charges etc complete in all respect after satisfactory completion, 3(three) months of trial run and thereafter (subsequently) 1 (one) year of operation & maintenance including 1 (one) year of defect liability period as per latest IS specifications, Bid documents and direction of EIC.
