Scope of Work A. Collection of historical data about the pavement. i) Initial pavement design-basis of design, guidelines followed, performance criteria adopted, layer types, layer thickness and properties assigned. ii) Data regarding functional and structural evaluation carried out if the existing surface is an overlay. iii) Laboratory testing results on different materials used (from Deptt.) iv) Internal and external drainage arrangement made v) As construction pavement details (from Deptt.) vi) Maintenance and rehabilitation data such as past distresses, effectiveness of different maintenance and rehabilitation measures undertaken in the past (from Deptt.) vii) Climatic condition data regarding rainfall intensity, temperature, occurrence of floods, overtopping of pavement, high water table etc. viii) Past traffic volume history, axle load spectrum data (from data) ix) Pavement core cutting test (@ 5 km interval) x) Subgrade CBR test (@ 2 km interval along with validation of past data) B. Pavement condition survey Pavement condition survey shall precede the actual deflection measurement and consists primarily of visual observations supplemented by measurements for estimation of cracking, rutting and other distresses in the pavement. 01 No C. ROW pillar installation (@ 250m interval on either side) M. Road safety audit (RSA) of existing road (27.73 km) N. Road safety audit (RSA) of existing road during operation (40 km outside project (road) O. Marking of trees to be felled, separately under social forestry and PWD (27.73 km) if any P. Tree Enumeration Report (for PWD & Social Forestry Division) if any Q. Design of Horizontal & vertical alignment of main road and service road (if any) R. Preparation of DPR 6 copy (soft copy should be submitted)
