CERTAIN MISC REPAIRS TO DRAINS, FOOTPATHS, SECURITY WALL, FENCING, SEWAGE CLEANING INCLUDING DE-SILTING OF DRAINS AT CIRCARS, SWIMMING POOL AND SAILORS INSTITUTE AREA UNDER AGE BR-II UNDER GE (NB) VISAKHAPATNAM

Amount

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soils exc 1.5 Km but n. exc 5 Km and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of un-reinforced cement concrete in ground floors and pavings n.exc 15cm thickness, (Below or above Ground level) and disposal of debris and rubbish to a distance upto outside MD land complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and disposal of debris and rubbish to outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling / taking out existing machine pressed precast concrete interloking paver blocks of any size and thickness including bedding layer and cleaning the same and relaying the same over new sand cushioning and disposal of debris and rubbish to outside MD land complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Sand cushioning shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item)

Dismantling of wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 100 mm thick, Cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in base of flooring/hard standing, etc, and finished the cement concrete surfaces even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick, plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub-base of floooring/hard standing, etc and finished the concrete surfaces even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Forming Construction joints 30mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound Grade 'A' complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 30 mm thick, plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub-base of flooring, etc and finished the surface even and rough complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for designer Chequered cement concrete tiles of size 30cm x 30cm x 23-25mm thick, as in floors etc, including 15 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:6 and set & jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in grey cement and pigments to match with the shade of tiles complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Machine pressed precast conctete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade with grey cement and pigment complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Machine pressed precast conctete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness, M-40 Grade with grey cement and pigment complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Sand filling under floors or in foundations including spreading, levelling, watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc stacking the serviceable bricks after removing mortar and cleaning for re-use and disposal of debris and rubbish to a distance n.exc 100m as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Walling of random rubble, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar 1:6 as in retaining walls, abutments and similar work complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No. 17 above but except stone complete ditto. (Note: Old serviceable stones as obtained from serial item No. 16 Above shall be re-used under this item after cleaning etc)

M & L for Brick work with fly ash, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 using old size brick complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brick work with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 as in half brick thick walls using old size brick complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick in two coats (10mm+5mm each) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4, mixed with integral water proofing compound with weight of cement in top layer as per manufacturer's instructions and finished the surface even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. (Note : WPC shall be measured and paid separately against respective item).

Supply only integral water proofing compound (ISI marked) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for plain cement concrete (1:2:4), type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Broken glass coping on top of wall in 25mm layer of cement mortar (1:3) with a rounded or weathered finish and before the mortar has set, glass (of bottle or thick glass) broken to approximately 63mm gauge, shall be firmly embedded at the rate of 10 Kg of glass per square metre of rendered surface, jogged edges of the glass being left projecting complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Raking out joints/ pointing to random rubble or polygonal rubble uncoursed or brought up to courses and keyed pointing in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Precast reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) louvres and jallies, 50mm thick including all mouldings and set in cement mortar 1:4 including dismantling of existing one and removing debries upto outside MD Land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc. laid bedded and pointed in any mortar and removing rubbish upto a distance outside MD land complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for granite stone slab (of any type) work (table rubbed or polished) as in floor, 18 to 20 mm thick, machine cut, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including 15 mm thick screed bed in cement mortor 1:6 & cutting, polishing complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for granite stone slab (of any type) as in vertical surfaces such as skirting/dado etc, 18 to 20 mm thick, machine cut, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including 10 mm thick screed bed in cement mortor 1:4 & cutting, polishing complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Machine cut kota stone slab flooring 20 to 25mm thick over cement screed base laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing, polishing & 15 mm thick, screed bed in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Dholpur stone with hammer dressed facework (with maximum depression from a straight edge held against the dressed surface not exc 20mm), about 40mm high, 75mm deep in straight courses, laid and jointed in cement and stone dust mortar 1:3, recess pointed (10mm x 20mm) with an dmixture of white cement and Dholpur stone dust 1:1complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water and removing rubbish to outside MD land complete all as specified and directed

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces and finishing the surfaces even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Precast Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in cover slab (For manhole etc), chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces and set in cement mortar 1:4 including necessary form, moulds, etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. (Note : Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately)

S & F high strength corrosion resistant TMT steel bars 10 mm dia., and over cut to length, bend to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips quality complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removing rubbish to outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down and re-alignment of kerb stone of any size including securing bottom and sides of stone with PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) filling base and necessary earth work and excavation complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Machine pressed precast conctete kerb stone of thickness 100mm to 110mm and height not less than 250mm of approved shape and size conforming to relevant IS, M-20 Grade including necessary excavation and earth work and fixing in cement mortar 1:4 and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and pattern over a coat of primer including taking down/out of existing kerb stone complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for glazed, coloured, ceramic, tiles of size (350mm x 250 mm/450mm x 350mm/300mmx450mm) x 6 to 7 mm thick, on vertical surfaces such as skirting, dados etc, including 10 mm thick bedding in cement mortor 1:4 and set & jointed in neat cement slurry & pointed in white or coloured cement to match with the shade of tiles complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, gates etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bar, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railings, framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe-410-0 Gde E-250 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide, zine chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of Synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Preparation of old treated concrete, brick or plastered surfaces of walls etc of any description over 10 cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation old decorated external surfaces of wall, chajja, facia etc by complete removing old paints by mechanical scrubber without disturbing the plastered surfaces and applying two coats of water based acrylic weather proof exterior emulsion (exterior wall finish) paint over a coat of primer as per manufacturer's instruction over one or more coat of wall care putty complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation old decorated external surfaces of wall, chajja, facia etc by and applying one coat of water based acrylic weather proof exterior emulsion (exterior wall finish) paint complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of walls, etc and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing old decorated surfaces of walls, etc including cornices by bromming down or by steel wire brushing, scrapping down smokes soot, moulds, moss and efflorscent salt and treating oil and greasy spot and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of alkali resistant primer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing old decorated surfaces of wall/chajja, etc including cornces by bromming down or by steel wire brushing, scrapping down smokes soot, moulds, moss and efflorscent salt and treating oil and greasy spot and applying one coat of cement base paint complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning/de-silting of lose mud, rubish etc from covered drain bed after removing and re-placing in its existing poistion of covers including uprooting of vegetation growth thoroughly and wire brushing including flushing with water so as to achieve smoth flow of water in drain of bed width upto 60 cm (soil mud upto 10cm depth) and removing rubish outside MD land and depositing in low laying area complete directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for removing the stainless steel letters of any size upto 30cm height from its existing position and re-fixing the same by welding in the same position after cleaning, buffing and polishing with polished materials complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the existing Mild steel Gate of size exceeding 1.0 Square metre and not exceeding 3.0 Square metre of any weight and Re-fixing the in the same position including replacement of pintel hinges etc and realignment and necessary welding as required and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer including preparation of old painting surfaces after complete removal of existing treatment and fixing with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm aggregrate) including necessary formwork all as specified and directed.

Complete removing the plants from the surfaces of the building with complete roots, applying recommended chemical to prevent further growth as directed, making good the disturbed surface with cement mortar 1:3 and applying the same surface finish of the existing surface and finished to match with the surrounding surfaces including removal of debris etc., out side the premises complete all as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Opening the cover and cleaning of septic tanks, sumps, manholes etc of any capacity, dewatering foul water and taking out night soil, excreta, sludge, etc by pumping properly and removing and carrying the same to a distance upto outside MD land, burried underground (minimum 30 cm below ground level) including necessary excavation and earthwork in soft/loose soil for pits, returning, filling in including sprinkling bleaching powder @ not less than 0.75 Kg/Sqm and dressing of surplus soil around to slope as required including refixing the cover in position and cleaning the eitre area and making good damaged portion (if any) complete all as specified and directed. (Note : (i) Depth of sludge shall only be measured for volume. (ii): The cleaning work shall be carried out by Honey sucker tanker or similar transporter.)

Cleaning of sewage lines 150 mm bore by rodding from Man holes to enable the sewage to flow freely to the next manholes, inluding disposing off sludge and other materials obtained from the sewage line to a distance outside MD land, burried under ground (minimum 30 cm below ground level) including necessary excavation of pits in soft/loose soil and returning, filling in including sprinkling of bleaching powder at the rate of 0.75 kg/Sqm and dressing of surplus soil around slope complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning of sewage lines 200 mm bore by rodding from Man holes to enable the sewage to flow freely to the next manholes, inluding disposing off sludge and other materials obtained from the sewage line to a distance outside MD land, burried under ground (minimum 30 cm below ground level) including necessary excavation of pits in soft/loose soil and returning, filling in including sprinkling of bleaching powder at the rate of 0.75 kg/Sqm and dressing of surplus soil around slope complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Opening the cover and Cleaning of Manholes of internal area n.exc 0.50 Sqm of any depth by pumping out the sewage water completely inluding disposing off sludge and other materials obtained from the manholes to a distance outside MD land, burried under ground (minimum 30 cm below ground level) including necessary excavation of pits in soft/loose soil and returning, filling in including sprinkling of bleaching powder at the rate of 0.75 kg/Sqm and dressing of surplus soil around slope complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Opening the cover and Cleaning of Manholes of internal area exc 0.50 Sqm but n.exc 1.0 Sqm of any depth by pumping out the sewage water completely inluding disposing off sludge and other materials obtained from the manholes to a distance outside MD land, burried under ground (minimum 30 cm below ground level) including necessary excavation of pits in soft/loose soil and returning, filling in including sprinkling of bleaching powder at the rate of 0.75 kg/Sqm and dressing of surplus soil around slope complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning the blockage in the Gully Trap/floor trap/nahani trap completely enable the sewage to flow freely to the next manholes, removing the sludge and other materials from the Manholes by suitable means and removing all the materials obtained from the manholes out side MD land and cleaning the complete area including making good any damages gully trap complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition and breaking 150mm bore drain pipes (SGSW/AC/RCC) set in cement mortar including cement concrete bedding and removal of debris/rubbles etc to a distance outside MD land complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Necessary axcavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately)

Demolition and breaking 200mm bore drain pipes (SGSW/AC/RCC) set in cement mortar including cement concrete bedding and removal of debris/rubbles etc to a distance outside MD land complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Necessary axcavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately)

M & L for Salt glazed stone ware drain pipes 150 mm bore, grade 'A' laid in trenches, jointed and tested complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Salt glazed stone ware drain pipes 200 mm bore, grade 'A' laid in trenches, jointed and tested complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggragate) as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for 150 mm bore SGSW/RCC drain pipes complete all as specified and directed .

M & L for Plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggragate) as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for 200 mm bore SGSW/RCC drain pipes complete all as specified and directed .

S & F in repairs stainless steel work as in hand rail, ladder, grill, post and similar work conforming to grade SS-304 including welding, buffing and necessary fixing arrangements like, stainless steel bolts etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair Galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F In repairs,1050 mm dia punched tape concertina coil as per IS 4454 with galvanised coating and punched tape material as per IS-513 deep drawn quality with galvanising coating , having medium barbs( barb length: 24+ 1 mm ,Pitch between two barbs 35+ 1mm ) fixed in position and secured to both sides of shaped angle iron post , stretched to a length of 6 to 8 metre openable length ( total length 90 m), having 50 nos rounds per 6 metre length, upto 3 m height of wall fixed over angle iron ‘Y’ shaped, Spring core (2.5mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 kg/ sq.mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) to achieve 1050 mm dia as in fencing to steel post and to another coil /MS ribs including fixing with special galvanised fasterners such as 'J' clips , 'C' clips , U clips all as specified and directed (Note : After stretching the coil, the length of the compound wall on which it has been stretched shall be considered for measurement.)

M & L for Mild Steel Hand rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 ® complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling old/unserviceable chain link fencing any size any mesh incluidng flat iron fillets and MS rod complete complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only chain link MS galvanisd fencing, any size or type complete all as specified and directed

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed

M & L for mild steel round bar 10mm dia and over cut into length, bend to shape required including cranking bending spirally for hoping as in tie bar for fixing chain link fencing complete all as specified and directed.
