The ALS Entry-Level Type D Ambulance shall

be a fully equipped emergency medical

response vehicle designed to provide safe

patient transport and advanced life support

services during medical emergencies.

It shall be built on a BS-VI compliant chassis

with a 3350 mm wheelbase, equipped with

power steering, air conditioning, and a

spacious patient compartment to ensure

reliable performance, safety, and occupant

The vehicle shall be fitted with a hygienic

FRP-lined interior, patient stretcher, doctor’s

seat, oxygen delivery system with dual

cylinders, medical storage cabinets, and an

efficient climate control system to support

effective patient care during transport.

The ambulance shall incorporate an

emergency lighting and siren system, power

backup unit, telematics and driver

monitoring features, electrical outlets, and

essential safety accessories to ensure

dependable operation during emergency

response and patient transport.

The complete vehicle shall be tested as per

TQC/PQC requirements, ensuring

operational readiness, reliability, and

compliance with applicable emergency

medical service standards.
