Providing and supply of suitable clear water submersible pumping set capable of handling 50PPM turbidity of KSB/Kirloskar/Crompton/BS/Angel/ all approved make confirming to latest relevant BIS code. The pump shall be fitted with single vane impeller of suitable alloy for handling raw water as per IS 5669-1970 having oil/grease packed bearings and stainless steel shaft, wound stator on motor side with shaft protection sleeves on pump side ensuring better life for shaft . The impeller of pump shall be directly mounted on extended submersible sq cage motor shaft conf to BIS 9238-1979 with up to date amendments of 1450 (N) RPM, totally dust and weather proof with detach able pump casing for easy inspection with double mechanical seal, grease/ oil lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand vertical loads with minimum wear and tear,It should be fitted with device to take up expanion of water on heating of motor & suitable for operation on 415 +/- 10% volts 3 Phase 50 C/S AC supply. The power of motor should be at least 10% in excess of maximum power required by the pump in complete operating range with mounting stand/ duck foot bend, steel guide wire with mounting hook, lowering chain and standard accessories as supplied by the manufacturers complete, suitable for fulfilling the following requirements:-

Providing, supplying and installation of control panel with required accessories for motor offered above and having protection of motor on occurance of faults { Triping on occurance of fault(s) i.e. Moisture, high motor temperature, dry running, reverse rotation, Single phasing, voltage imbalance, overload and short circuit } and indication thereof by glowing fault lamp ; for motors above 15 KW another protection of Mechanical seal failure shall also be provided in addition to above protections complete in all respect with in all leads and lifts and to entire satisfaction of engineer -in -charge

Providing, laying and installation of 3core 4mm² flat submersible pump cable from starter to pump of Havells make of 4mm² size and suitable for motor offered under item no. 1 complete with flexible pipe complete in all respect with in all leads and lifts and to entire satisfaction of engineer -in -charge

Providing and fixing of cast iron double flanged non returing valve 65mm dia of Leader/Kirloskar/Kilburn/all approved make PN-1.6 capable of withstanding nominal seat pressure. the non returing valve should be confirming to BIS-1414 with up to date ammendments including cost of nut & bolts and gasket complete in all respect with in all leads and lifts and to entire satisfaction of engineer -in -charge

Providing and fixing of cast steel double flanged sluice valve 65mm dia of Leader/Kirloskar/Kilburn/all approved make PN-1.6 capable of withstanding nominal seat pressure. the non returing valve should be confirming to BIS-1414 with up to date ammendments including cost of nut & bolts and gasket complete in all respect with in all leads and lifts and to entire satisfaction of engineer -in -charge

Providing and fixing steel wire rope 10mm thick for holding the column assembly and pump set in bore well to avoid falling of assembly and pum set in bore well including comlete arrangement of fastening etc.complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-In.Charge.

Providing and fixing MS sheet box size (0.60x0.30x0.90mm fabrocated with angle irong of four legs mounted in cement concrete 1:3:6 for electric metred starter switch and other accessories with locking arrangement complete.

Providing and fixing MS Clamps to hold the pump set in the bore well including required bolt and nuts complete in all respect as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Erection Charges including labour charges, electrical connection , lowering of etc complete in all respect as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in foundations, trenches etc., in earth work lift upto 1.50 Metres stacking the eacavated soil not more than 3 metres clear from the edge of the excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm. layers, when required in to plinths sides of foundations etc., consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed with in a lead of 20 metres to the entire staisfaction of Engineer-in-charge with in all leads and lifts.

Laying, jointing and testing in trenches Galvanised mild steel tubes of following dia meters confirming to BIS 1239-2001 (GI Pipes) (latest with upto date amendments) having wall thickness as per code with plain ends in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube, providing and welding of MS flanges detailed as below. The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments) duly welded in two layers (two inner and two outer) with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes, 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets confirming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe will include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The damaged portion of the pipes and specials made form the parent tube during welding or otherwise shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separately).
