REPAIR MAINTENANCE AND OUTSOURCEING OF SERVICES TO DG SETS ALONG WITH AMF PANELS INSTALLED AT NPOL KULAMAVU AND 14 ASC AF KAKKANAD KOCHI

Outsource of services to DG Set of capacity 2 x 250 KVA installed at 'T' Complex substation of NPOL Site 'B' area by switching ON/OFF the DG Sets while main power supply fails, carry out idle run for testing if required on all days except on Sundays and other public holidays as applicable to AGE (I) R & D, Kochi complete with minimum one skilled operator / tradesman in a shift of 08 hrs per day all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Quoted rates deemed to be inclusive for the following:-

Greasing, lubricating, watering, topping up of electrotyte in batteries and surrounding cleaning upto 3 mtrs around the building of installations etc will be maintained by the contractor in the substations.

Maintaining running records of DG sets in proper logsheets and format as given by Engr in charge

FOL for DG sets will be topup by department

Minimum required tools be always available with the operator

First Aid boxes including medicines shall be kept in the installations

The tradesman engaged by the contractor shall have sufficient experience in respective field

Carry out daily maintenance of plinth/equipement/system etc as directed by Engr in Charge.

Comprehensive Maintenance, Servicing and carrying out periodical service to DG set along with AMF panel or standard panel like carry out oil service and routine checkup/maintenece as per manufacturers schedule, checking complete system of lubrication, cooling systems, air intake systems, fuel systems, exhaust systems, DC/AC electrical systems in DG Set as well as in AMF/Stanadard Panel, tightening bolts and nuts in engine and alternator related systems, etc and repairs including material for renewal/ replacement of minor defective parts of like connectors, MCBs, phase indication lamps etc for following capacity of DG sets all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

250 KVA with AMF Panel installed at T Complex sub station (02 Nos)

125 KVA with AMF Panel installed at Pump House at technical area.

75 KVA trolley mounted.

35 KVA with AMF Panel installed at Site 'A' area

35 KVA with AMF Panel installed at 14 ASC, AF Kakkanad

20 KVA with AMF Panel installed at 14 ASC

15 KVA with AMF Panel installed at Pump House at UARF, Kulamavu.

Note: The spares to DG Sets items as listed below as SUPPLY ONLY will be used whenever required only and it shall measured and paid separately under respective items.

The rate is inclusive of all items as required at site except those items as SUPPLY ONLY below to keep the DG Set along with AMF / Standard panel on monthly basis complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

The contractor should attend any complaint / breakdown immidietly on call basis and even no of times with out any extra cost.

Contractor should submit the inspection / maintenance report of every visit inspite of no of visits during breakdown calls including mentioning the status of DG Sets and spares any replaced

The old unserviceable spares replaced under comprehensive maintenace i.e in sl No 02 of above BOQ is the property of contractor for which credit shall be deducted under respective items in schedule of credit.

All AMF panels and standard DG set panels should be well cleaned with CTC solutiion checking all the electrical connection and tighten for any loose connection.

Battery lead 50 sq mm single core mulitstranded copper conductor PVC insulated with terminal one end socket and the other end clamp type, length approx 1 mtr

Battery terminals one end socket and the other end clamp type incluiding brazing work and applying jelly over the battery terminal and pole all as directed by the Engr in charge

Repairs to 12 V self starter of DG set engine by dismantling, removing and replacing the old defective/wornout bearings, serviceing including replacement of carbon brush, bendix drive, cleaning commutator in armarure etc assembling and testing for satisfactory function all as directed.

Repairs to 24 V self starter of DG set engine by dismantling, removing and replacing the old defective/wornout bearings, serviceing including replacement of carbon brush, bendix drive, cleaning commutator in armarure etc assembling and testing for satisfactory function all as directed.
