Checking of earthing resistence of 450 Nos Earthing and E-N voltage quarterly with caliberated earth tester meter and multimeter including recharging of earthing with chemical, maintaining the earth testing record, rectification of earthing related fault complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE:- (a) Testing record and rectification of earthing shall be signed by user and JE (E/M) and verified by Engineer in charge. (b) Measurement of three month shall be treated as one Job. (c) Chemical required for recharging of earthing shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only of potassium Nitrate (commercial name kalmi shora) in the earthing chambers for improvement of the existing earthing resistence complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in repairs for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5m below ground level connected to and including GI earth lead wire 4mm dia by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washer etc, made of GI and connected to test point and earth dolly all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 SSR Part-I 2009 and specified or indicated including excavation and earthwork in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) Type C1 in chamber, precast RCC 50 mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM (Weight not less than 4.00 Kg/Square metre) with PCC frame, funnel with wire mesh, 20mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, lugs, 15mm bore medium grade GI protection pipe, test point etc. complete including taking out existing earthing all as specified and directed. Note: -(i) Item includes the cost of 7.5 metre GI pipe for protection of earth lead. (ii) Item includes the cost of 7.5 metre GI earth lead.

Material & labour in repairs for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 3.15 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to and including earth lead of copper strip 20 mm X 3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion and excavation and earth work in any type of strata, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 in chamber, precast RCC cover 50mm thick in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM (Weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) with cast iron frame, funnel with wire mesh, 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade watering pipe, lugs, 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade protection pipe up to 7.5m complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge NOTE :- The rate of above Item includes the cost of earth lead and GI protection pipe up to 7.5 Metres. Material & labour in repairs for bore earthing 150 mm dia buried by vertical boring machine, depth 50 mtr below ground level using earth electrode 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade duly drilled hole of 12mm dia, 15cm C/C on both side of the pipe including lowering in bore well upto the depth of 49mtr and one metre above the ground level. The pipe electrode should be filled around commercial salt, charcoal dust, copper sulphate and magnisium phosphate of 30 cm layer each upto the full length of pipe. The bore well should have 12 metre of length 150mm dia MS pipe 4.8mm wall thickness for protection of bore well. Welding of GI strip 50x6 mm on earth electrode GI pipe 50mm dia upto the 10 metre below ground level and 25 metre from the bore well to test point gun metal and PCC foundation sorrounding the bore well 60x60x30 cm complete all as specified and directed. Note :- If GI strip required more than 35 metres , than length exceeding 35 metres shall be measured and paid separately.

Material & labour in replacement test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75mm x 75mm x 25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw as required with all accessories complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour in replacement copper strip 20mmx3.15mm complete with, protection sleeves, saddles, seperator and fixing screws at surrounding inside and outside the building complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour in replacement galvanised steel strip 32mmx6mm complete with, protection sleeves, saddles, seperator and fixing screws at surrounding inside and outside the building complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of old unserviceable PCC earthing chamber, and material & labour for construction of PCC chamber made out of PCC 1:2: 4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate and cover shall be 40mm thick RCC Pit cover made of precast cement concrete cover slab type B-1 (PCC 1:2:4) using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate , reinforced with mild steel XPM weighing not less than 4 kg/ Sqm, including necessary form work & surfaces of PCC chamber shall be finished smooth without using extra cement, exposed surfaces shall be given three coats of white wash complete, minimum dimention of PCC Chamber shall not be less than as specified & shown on Plate No 3 of SSR Part I (2009) complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note : The rate quoted for this item also includes necessary excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil/material to a distance not exc. 50 metres complete.

Material and labour for replacement of 20 to 25mm thick kota stone earth pit cover of size 2 feet x 2 feet complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & labour for replacement of single rod chemical earthing, (comprising of one copper rod, chemical earthing), copper electrode of wall thickness minimum 2mm not less than 3 mtrs length not less than 75mm outter dia, fixing of copper earth electrode by drilling/boring 175mm dia hole, 5.00 mtr deep in any type of strata, placing electrode in hole, return filling excavated soil by mixing min 20 kg GEL per bore and 75 kg soil resistivity improvement (SRIP) compound as per manufacturer instruction, including PCC foundation sorrounding pit of size 60x60x30 cm complete all as specifed and directed by engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of aluminium strip of size 25 mm x 3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC block of size 150 mm x 150 mm x 300 mm, made out of PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) for fixing/ mounting of running earthing conductor including CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement of 15 mm bore GI tubing medium grade laid in trenches or fixed on walls or under floors including necessary fittings complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of Gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed including fittings 15 mm (1/2”) dia complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of self closing bib tap of cast iron or malleable cast iron, Galvanised, screwed for iron pipe and fixed 15mm as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of existing steel tubing for alteration or additions of size 15 mm including necessary fittings complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brazing of earthing strip of any size using identical material brazing rods with the help of burner/ welding machine as required at site all as specified and directed by EIC.

Excavation in trenches in hard dense soil n.exc. 1.5m wide & n exc 1.5M deep for laying of GI/CI/DI pipe line & getting out including forming bottom surface to the required slope all as specified and directed.

M&L for construction of brick masonry valve pit, internal size 1.2m x 1.2m x 1.2m including necessary excavation and earth work in any type soil/rock, brick work, plastering, white wash, PCC coping, MS frame made out of angle iron of size 40mmx40mmx4 mm, MS sheet cover of 4 mm thick fixed to angle iron frame by means of hinges welded to frame and painting with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces and grouting the frame in PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 including handle and locking arrangement with one number 50 mm dia brass pad lock including demolition of old valve pit chamber complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cleaning of RCC semi-under ground water storage sumps of capacity 80000 Ltrs including applying bleaching powder on wall, scrapping with wire brushes, sweeping for removing silt/ sand/ moss, all deposited material inside the sump and disposal the removing materials where as directed, then apply food-grade, solvent free epoxy coatings either side walls inside of the sump (food grade epoxy coatings are to be safe for contact with drinking water) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mainteance of water storage fountains of any capacity including applying bleaching powder on wall, scrapping with wire brushes, sweeping for removing silt/ sand/ moss, all deposited material inside the fountain and disposal of the removing materials where as directed, cleaning the gunmetal tilt type nozzels & replace the nozzeles such as required to replace, replacement of suitable armoured flexible pipe, replacement of water outlet central Jet dome connected motor to GI header pipe line with necessary gaskets and other requirement works complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- All repair/ necessary replacement items required in job to make the fountain functional are deemed to be inclusive in quoted rates.)

Supply only orthodoline solution in 450 ML PVC bottles of superior quality duly sealed all as directed.

M&L for cutting/cleaning of branches, bushes & levelling undue surface through cable route/fire fighting pipe line, pump house area including disposal old material up to a distance not execeding 50 m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down existing centrifugal type electric motor of capacity 30 HP, 3 Phase 415V, 50 cycles, AC from foundation/coupling opening the motor and cutting the burnt windings including bearings necessary spares parts, cleaning the sator and water with cleaning agent, rewinding the motor with appropriate gauge of super enamelled copper wire of approved make, insulating winding with same class of insulation, varnishing, backing up indication supply, Star-delta copper cable properly fixed with motor terminal box, repair/maint of base foundation along with nut & bolts, including replacement of tyre couplings and re-installation of motor to satisfactory perfomance complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling 5 HP capacity multistage centrifugal pump coupled with electric motor 3 phase 415 V overhauling the pump sets including cleaning with kerosene/petrol for removing the scales and replacement of necessary parts of case ring, latern ring, shaft sleeve, CI gland covers with MS studs, ball bearings, coupling key, rubber bush nut & bolts, impeller key, lock washer, gasket, and greasing, re-assembling same in position, testing and commissioning the pump set complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling open well submersible pump/motor of capacity up to 7.5 HP, 3 phase, 415 V complete overhauling the open well pump including cleaning with kerosene/petrol for removing the scales and replacement of necessary parts of shaft & shaft sleeve, gland covers, bearings, nut & bolts, gaskets & necessary accessories complete, and re-winding the open well submersible with appropriate gauge of super enamelled copper wire of approved make and re-assembling same in position, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for taking down the serviceable 100 mm GI/ DI pipe lines from PCC/ Brick pedastals, replacing the flange joints with rubber gaskets or sockets, tyton joints and repairing the PCC/Brick pedastals complete all as specifed and directed. (Note:- (a) Replacement of jointing materials such as gaskets, Nut & bolts, washers are inclusive quoted rates. (b) PCC/ Brick pedastals are measured and paid separately. (c) DI/CI fittings measured and paid separately.)

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as a base foundation for the pipe lines including one coat of white wash and necessary form work complete all as specified.

Demolition of stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement/ lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below/ above ground level) including floor finishes complete all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for squared rubble walling, Jodhpur type, brought to courses, curved on plan to a mean radius not exceeding 6 m, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B using 12.5 mm graded aggregate in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for rendering 15 mm thick on stone masonry surfaces or surface other than fair face of brick work surfaces in cement mortar 1 : 4, surface finished fair and even complete all specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats exterior weather proof water base emulsion paint over and including a coat of primer complele all as specified and directed.

Taking down of old serviceable XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor/ copper cables, 1100 volts grade cable of any size carefully from existing panel boards/ motor terminal box, removing old cable sleeves & rubber packings and provide new cable gland sleeves & rubber packing, replacing new cable glands lugs with suitable size of cable and refixing the XLPE cable/copper cables with panel boards/ motors complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Quoted rates are inclusive with all necessary items for making existing connection functional properly complete.)

Repair/ maintenance of exiting LT feeder pillar panel boards, any type & shape repair the panel board foundation as existing, cleaning panel boards with air blower, replacing the busbars & insulators with colour code, repair panel door, locking arrangements complete & painting with powder coating as specified and re-commissioning panel board alongwith control wirings with necessary nut & bolts, screws, connecting with earth lead, earth strips etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note:- MCCBs, Volt & Amp meter, Cable glands with rubber packings are measures and paid separately.)

S&F in replacement MCCB 4 Pole 100 Amps, thermal magnetic release having, breaking capacity 10 KA, 415 Volt in the existing feeder pillar box including any addition / alteration to the panel to accommodate the new MCCB & making connections with 25x3 mm copper strip as required from main bus bars, making necessary welding work, metal work for fixing base plate etc and connections complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs building security light fittings, with pressure die cast aluminium housing sitable for 25W LED, complete pre-wired, incl suitable bracket for fixing light on wall or any indicated location all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for taking out carefully the existing submersible pump set capacity up to 10 HP from the borewell including dismantling the clamps at top end, taking out GI coloumn pipe of any size & flat type copper cable, submersible pump & motor, strainer assembly complete all as specified and re-winding of submersible motor with appropriate gauge of super enamelled copper wire of approved make & over-hauling submersible pump with required accessories complete, lowering the submersible pump/motor with coloumn pipes along with flat type copper cable, bottom strainer and complete satisfactory testing of submersible motor/ pump in presence of Engr-in-Charge. (Note:- (i) Required GI Coloumn pipe, Flange Joints, Flat type copper cable, Bottom stainer assembly measured and paid separately. (ii) Rewinding of submersible motor & over-hauling of submersible pump, MS top end clamps, Nut & Bolts and accessories included in the quoted rates.)

S&F in replacement pressure gauge 4" dial 0-14 kgs ratings suitable to the existing water pipe lines including suitable fixing lines including fixing arrangement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in repair submersible cable flat type, copper conductor of size 6 Sqmm 3 core complete all as specified & as directed.
