Note: (i) If the desired earth resistance less than 05 Ohm is not found within permissible limit shall be redone by contractor at no extra cost. (ii) Cost of GI wire 4 mm dia earth lead and 20mm dia light grade GI pipe and 20mm dia medium grade GI Pipe for watering upto 7.5 mtr is included in the rate quoted for this item.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of underground XLPE insulated & PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty multistranded electric cable with aluminium conductor, 50 sqmm 3.5 core, 1100 volts grade in trenches/ ducts/ along poles/ through pipe/ under road/ PCC etc and connecting with new aluminium lugs including taking out existing unserviceable cable of any size/ type complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (a) Excavation, returning, removal, sand cushioning, cable protection covers, GI protection pipe etc shall be measured and paid separately. (b) Any damage done during cable excavation to the existing UG infra like UG pipelines, UG electric cables, OFC etc shall be repaired by the contractor at their own expenses. (c) Cost of T&P required for handling/ laying of cable is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exc. 1.5 mtr wide and not exc. 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of cable, foundation etc and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning & covering of underground cable using crushed metal sand in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sub class B bricks well burnt of size 23 x 11.5 x 7.5 cm for protection of underground cable laid dry flat over the cable width wise across the length of the cable and abutting each other with gap less than 10mm between the adjacent bricks in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated soil to a distance n exc 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as directed.

Supply & Laying GI tubing light grade with all fittings and accessories for protection of cables on ploe/ wall or under road crossings including clamps, nuts, bolts etc of size 50 mm complete all as specified and directed.
