Shed for Screw Press:- Material and Labour for preparation of new external plastered surfaces and applying two coats of weather proof (anti fungal, Asian Ultima Protek)paint over a coat of suitable primer over 3mm thick wall care putty of three layer, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Sewage Treatment Plant/RCC Tanks/Chambers:- Construction of RCC Stilling Chamber , fine bar screen chamber, Oil and grease trap chamber, RCC Equalisation Tank, RCC sludge holding tank and RCC treated water tank including foundation all as shown on drawings and all as specified .Note: Earth work excavation shall be measured and paid seperately under relevent schedules.
Sewage Disposal :-Material and Labour for 170mm dia DWCPE laid in trench on concrete bed complete all as specified complete all as specified and directed at site.
External water Supply:- Supply , fix, commisioning and testing of Centrifugal pump set, electric driven, 415 Volt ,50 Hz inclusive of starter and PCC foundation with 80mm dia suction, 65mm delivery with flow of 8.2 LPS at 20M head or equivalent complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (1 Working + 1 Standby).
Material and labour for masonary valve chamber, TYPE 'A' including PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate foundation & floor, brick work in CM (1:4) internal and external plaster 10 mm complete as per standard details and as per specifications complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
External Electrification:- Supply, spreading and levelling riddled soil as earth cushioning to UG cable by using IS seive to seperate the composite/roots etc and refilling spreading in trenches as cushioning and rammed down to form a solid bed all as specified and directed at site. Note:- Punned thickness shall be measured and paid. Earth obtained from outsied MD Land.
Sewage Disposal :- Supply, construction, installation, testing & commissioning of Sewage Treatment Plant based on principle of aerobic attached growth non clogging randomly Moving Bed Bio-reactor (MBBR) having capacity 230 KLD to get out put quality of treated water to use for the purpose of Arboriculture, toilet flushing and fire fighting and design and execution of SCADA system, including required foundations and the following as per the specifications given below to meet the following norms. Inlet parameters of sewage are as under:- pH 6.5 - 8.5 BOD5 < 275 mg/l COD < 550 mg/l Total Suspended Solids 300 mg/l Total Nitrogen 50 mg/l Oil & Grease 10-20 mg/l Total Nitrogen (as N) 50mg/l Ammoniacal Nitrogen (As NH4) 10 mg/l Total Coliform 10^6 Counts / 100 ml Outlet parameters required for arboriculture and toilet flushing of treated sewage are as under:- pH 6.5 – 8.5 BOD5 < 10 mg/l COD < 50 mg/l Total Suspended Solids < 10 mg/l Total Nitrogen < 10 mg/l Oil & Grease < 10 mg/l Residual Chlorine > 1 mg/l
Dissolved Phosphorous < 1 mg/l Nitrate Nitrogen as N < 10 mg/l Faecal Coliform Nil MPN/100 ml Colour Colourless Odour Odourless Note :- Apart from the above, local pollution control parameters have to be considered for the output quality of effluent and the more stringent parameter shall be followed. STP shall consists of the following:- (a) ONE SET of stilling chamber, fine bar screen chamber, oil and grease removal chamber with mechanical oil skimmer to remove oil and grease, all in a single unit construction with partition for each chamber all as shown in drawings and as directed. Note:- RCC stilling chamber, fine bar screen chamber and Oil and grease trap shall be measured seperately. (b) ONE SET of Fine bar screens, made of 5x25mm, MSEP flats,11 Nos, with 6 mm opening , installed inside fine bar scrren chamber of length 1.3 m and width 0.3m. (c) Equalisation tank as per drawings in RCC The tank also to be provided with an air grid system with to provide air @ 40 m3/hr and spread all over the bottom surface of the tank, coarse air bubble air grid with SS 316 piping and valves as per OEM design. Note:- RCC equilisation tank shall be measured seperately.
(d) TWO Nos. monoblock, self-priming sewage pump sets 3 phase 415 Volt of min 10 cum/hr capacity, head 14 mwc for transfer of sewage from equalisation tank to Anoxic chamber, complete in all respect with all fitting, fixtures, electrically actuated valves, NRVs, pressure gauges, pipings etc. The pumps shall operate automatically with the help of an ultrasonic level sensor fitted in the equalisation tank which in turn should be controlled by the SCADA system of the STP. ( 1 working and one stand by). (e) ONE set of Anoxic chamber made out of MS sections with FRP 3mm thick lining inside and sea worthy epoxy coated outside Pre-fabricated units (Factory fabricated and finished), modular construction of 2.8 x 1.0 x 3.8 m SWD with additional 0.3 m free board, fitted with submersible mixer. (f) TWO set ( in sereis) of Moving bed Bio film reactor (MBBR) based process unit made of MS sections with FRP 3mm thick lining inside and sea worthy epoxy coated outside Pre-fabricated units (Factory fabricated and finished), modular construction each set of 3.9 x 1.4 x 3.5 m SWD with additional 0.5 m free board, fitted with riser pipe and media retaining sieves and SS fine bubble header and lateral type Air grid to handle air @ 96 m3/hr in each tank. Each tank should contain minimum 8.0 m3 MBBR media having surface are of 400 m2/m3 made out of virgin PP appears in translucent white colour.
(g) TWO Nos. Twin lobe Rotary air-cooled positive displacement blower 3 phase 415 volt having capacity 240 m3/hr @ 5.0 m Head complete with three phase induction motor, necessary accessories & fittings complete in all respect. (1 working and one stand by). (h) TWO Nos. Recirculation pump, self-priming monoblock pump of 2.88m3/hr @ 8m head for transferring the Sewage from outlet of MBBR 2 to Anoxic Tank complete in all respect with all fitting, fixtures, electrically actuated valves, NRVs, pressure gauges, pipings etc. controlled through automatically SCADA system. (1 working and one stand by). (j) ONE No. Tube settler / Lamella Clarifier constructed MS sheet with proper support and FRP coating 3mm thick inside and sea worthy epoxy coated outside. The tube settler will be of 2.8 x 2.7 x 3.3 m Straight height, bottom hopper for sludge collection should be of 1.0 m height and 300 mm should be kept at top as free board, the PVC tubes with support will be an integral part of the tank. (k) TWO Nos. sludge transfer self-priming monobloc pump of 8.8 m3/hr @ 6 m head for transferring the sludge from bottom of the tube settler to sludge holding tank complete in all respect with all fitting, fixtures, electrically actuated valves, NRVs, pressure gauges, piping etc. controlled through automatically SCADA system. (1 working and one stand by).
(l) ONE No. The sludge collection tank made out of RCC all as shown in drawings and as directed. The tank should be fitted with coarse bubble air grid header and lateral type in SS 316 for providing air @ 6.0 m3/hr. Note:- RCC sludge holding tank shall be measured seperately. (m) TWO Nos. Sludge transfer self-priming mono-bloc pumps having min capacity 1.0 cum/hr @ 10 m head complete in all respect with all fitting, fixtures, valves, NRVs, pressure gauges, piping etc. controlled through ultrasonic level sensor provided in the sludge tank. (n) ONE No Sludge dehydrator, multi disc Screw presss type, for dewatering of sludge, of minimum capacity 0.75m^3/Hr with electric motor, flocculation tank, showering system etc, all as directed. (o) ONE SET of DWPE Dozing System comprising of one no. 200 lt. HDPE tank fitted with agitator and 2 nos. dosing pump each of capacity 25 lph. (p) ONE SET of Chlorine Dosing System comprising of chlorine dosing tank capacity 100 ltr, HDPE along with 2 Nos. Electronic metering dosing pump of 2 lph capacity each. (q) ONE No. Chlorine contact cum Filter feed tank Pre-fabricated with MS and FRP 3mm thick lining inside and sea worthy epoxy coated outside of size 2.8 x 1.1 x 3.3 m SWD and additional 300 mm free board.
(r) ONE SET of tertiary treatment unit consisting the following:- (i) TWO Nos. filter feed pumps each of capacity 10.45 m3/hr @ 25 m head, centrifugal monobloc construction, complete in all respect with all fitting, fixtures, valves, NRVs, pressure gauges, piping etc. controlled through ultrasonic level sensor provided in the filter feed tank. The interchange ability of the pumps shall be control through SCADA system. (ii) ONE No. Dual media filter flow 10.45 m3/hr, 1000 mm Dia and 1800 mm HOS complete with media, frontal piping and electrically actuated valves. (iii) One no. Activated Carbon filter, flow 10.45 m3/hr 1050 mm Dia and 1800 mm HOS complete with media, frontal piping and electrically actuated valves. (iv) All the pipes to connect the water from chlorine contact tank to DMF through filter feed pumps with related valves, NRVs, SCADA connection, controls, etc complete in all respect. (v) TWO nos. treated water submersible pumps horizontal type each of capacity 8.2 lps @ 40 m head, complete in all respect with all fitting, fixtures, valves, NRVs, pressure gauges, etc. controlled through ultrasonic level sensor provide for treated water tank. The interchange ability of the pumps shall be control through SCADA system. (Pump and delivery lines will be paid under water supply Schedule). (vi) Treated water collection tank,, RCC ,all as shown in drawing and as directed
Note:- RCC treated water tank shall be measured seperately. (s) ONE SET of Flow meter, electromagnetic type, fixed at inlet of anoxic chamber,with bi-directional flow measurement and totalisation facility, accuracy +/- 0.5%, microprocessor based,with flow sensors transmitter for remote transmission upto 150m, with LCD display, indicating actual flow, forward and reverse flow and total flow, with error message such as empty pipe condition, low flow,etc. (t) ONE SET of Online treated sewage multi parameter monitoring system for BOD,TSS,COD,PH, continuous or batch type operation, with built in automatic cleaning function, advanced micro processor based system, with touch screen alpha numeric display, 240x128 pixels LCD with back light, response time less than 10Sec, with IP 54 enclosure with digital out put RS232/RS485 with PC configuration of CPU Intel I3, HDD 500GB SATA, RAM 4GB, PRTS: USB Standard, 1 LAN, Monitor TFT LED -18.5” Colour, DOS Keyboard, mouse, etc installed with utility software of SPCB and CPCB, data connectivity of one multi parameter analyser and one flow meter, all as directed. (vi)ONE SET of Online chlorine analyser for measuring of residual chlorine in the treated water resolution 0.01mg/l, accuracy less than or equal to 2% of full scale, response time T90 in 60sec, operating temperature: -5 to 70 degree C, with amperometric type electrode, automatic sensor cleaning system, microprocessor based programmable transmitter,
c. Push button with 1 element – Stop & Start d. Indication lamps – on & off (vii). Star delta starter (for motors above 7.5 kw) Star delta starter shall consist of following components:- a. TPMCCB – 1 No. b. Power contactors – 3 Nos. c. Timer – 1 No. d. Push button with 1 element – Stop & Start. e. Indication lamps – on & off (viii). Relays and protection shall be enabled for SCADA with IEC 61850 protocol & Modbus RS-485. (ix). Control Supply – SP MCBs – as required for instrument supply. (x). Power wiring – minimum 2.5 sq.mm PVC insulated copper wire. Control wiring – 1.5 sq. mm PVC insulated copper wire (xi). Control supply – 1ph, 230 VAC obtained from phase and neutral. (xii) A PLC control shall be provided for monitoring, control, recording, and logging etc. for STP and treated water pumps. This shall consists of PLC based SCADA system. (xiii). All the Treatment Units shall be designed for manual & automatic operation through PLC and SCADA based system with PC based systems and peripheries. Provision shall be made to operate each process Unit manually, if required. All the essential Drives shall be provided with standby arrangements.xiv).
(xviii) PLC shall comply with the following codes and standards :- (a) International Society of Automation (ISA) (b) National Electricity Manufacturers Association (NEMA) (c) International Electro-technical Committee (IEC) (d) American National Standards Institute (ANSI) (e) The Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) (xix) Input / Output Modules consist of a) Standard rack mounted I/O modules with plug-in cards shall be provided. Field wiring shall be terminated in screwed terminal and interconnected to the processor I/O system with pre-fabricated cables with plug-in type connectors. b) 20% extra points of installed capacity for each type of input shall be provided as spares and shall be wired to the terminal block of the control panel. Provision shall be made for future expansion of extra I/O modules. c) Some of the common features of the I/O modules shall be as follows : i.All inputs shall be terminated with input protective network and necessary isolating barriers. ii.Filters for noise rejection. iii Provision for isolation of faulty channels. iv.Protection for continuous overload up to 200% of all input ranges.
v. Test points and fault indication LEDs shall be provided to carry out module testing. vi. Surge withstands facility as per IEEE standards. vii. All the modules shall be of addressable type. viii. Fuse protection and fuse failure detection. ix. Internal battery backup. Note :- The Electrical Panel drawing is to be get approved from the Garrison Engineer before fabrication. Important Notes- (1) Before commencement of the work, the contractor shall submit the flow diagram,layout plan and working drawings of the plant for approval from the Executing Officer(GE). The dimensions/ capacity of the eqpt/components mentioned are of minimum reqt. Any increase in size/modifications found essential to achieve the parameters shall be carried out . However, no extra payment on this account will be permissible. (2) Civil works like site clearance, equilisation tank, combined unit of Stilling chamber/fine bar screen chamber/oil and grease trap, sludge holding tank, Treated water tank, sludge drying bed,shed for screw press, STP platform,and sewage pipes upto collection sump shall be measured seperately. (3)The quoted rate is deemed to include the cost of all excavation(except site clearence and earth work excavation to make the ground to required level). Cost of all STP interconnected pipes and fittings including excavation/ refilling / removing and other connected works for smooth functioning of STP specified shall be deemed to include in the quoted
rates and nothing extra will be paid. The quoted rate is also inclusive of all chemicals and any other items which are essential but not mentioned anywhere,for satisfactory working of the STP. (4) All exposed metal surfaces to be painted anti-corrosives coating to prevent sea corrosion. (5)Thickness of M.S sheet to be used for all steel tanks shall be minimum 6 mm as per BS 1079 and HRI grade with internal FRP coating and external epoxy painting. (6) All design,fabrication, inspection and testing of the plant will be done as per latest Indian standards.In case any non avaliability of stanard,good engineering practice will be adopated. (7)The installation will be fully automated with SCADA based system for STP and treated water distribution pumps in pump house.The cost includes all cables from control panel motors ,auto valves and pipe lines for inter connections etc.The control valves shall be electric motorised actuators PLC controlled and activated by level pressure/ultra sonic sensors as per automation offered by OEM. All pipe for suction and delivery header, main with fittings shall be to a class in excess of the maximum pressure attained in service including any surge pressure. (8) The pump operation shall also be PLC controlled with pressure type input sensors for flow, level and pressure of all pumps. The communication between installed devices and PLC shall be modbus based. The wiring of electrical system and communication devices for the SCADA based system will be with appropriate size cables from equipment/devices to electrical control panel is included in the quoted rates.
Electrical work shall be carried out as per relevant BIS/IS/Equivalent standard norms only and also in accordance with latest edition of the Indian Electricity Act/Rules formed there under and as amended from time to time. The quoted rate deemed to include the cost of laying/fixing of power/control cables required for STP/SCADA system by using necessary cable tray, protection pipe, clamps, supports etc. (9) LT cable from source to STP control panel, Treated water pump & treated water distribution lines shall be measured and paid separately . (10). The rate is inclusive of supply of all T&P required for the plant and spares and chemicals/consumables required for 2 years maintenance.
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of raw sewage lift pumps, sewage submersible, non-clog, solid handling of minimum 20 mm complete in all respect with necessary pressure gauges, electrically actuated valve NRVs, piping, inter connections, etc having min capacity of 10.0 CUM/hr and 14 mtr head. Each pump sets shall be automatically operated with ultrasonic level sensor and shall be controlled by the SCADA system of the STP ( 1 woking and one stand by, both to be installed in existing receiving sump) Note:- The cost include the common header for all four pumps and piping up to stilling chamber. (ii) Necessary guide rail and lifting chain will be provided to lift the pumps for repair work. The quoted rate is inclusive of the same. (iii) All pump & metal surface has to be painted anti-corrosive to prevent sea corrosion.
Comprehensive maintenance :- Comprehensive maintenance of Sewage treatment plant of 230 KLD capacity at INHS SANJIVANI for first year after defect liability period comprising of all machines, Inlet raw sewage /out let treated sewage equipments/ machines and pump sets and allied work repairs / servicing /. recetification of faults as and when required to all machines/ Equipments and valves to ensure 100% serviceability and maintain the ppm level both inlet raw sewage and out let treated sewage of plants complete all as specified. (a) Monoblock pumpset - (7 to 7.5 HP )-02 Nos (b) Submersible pump set (5.5 HP to 8.5 HP )-02 Nos (c) Bar Screen -01 No (d) Tube Settler -01 No (e) Air Blower -02 Nos (f ) MBBR Tank -02 Nos (g) Valve Different Sizes (h) Control Pannel -01 No

Supply only Poly Aluminimum Chloride (PAC) COAGULANT CONTAINING APPROX 29% Al2O3 with bacity of approx 64% packed complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for scrubbing, cleaning thoroughly sludge from the Sludge Drying Beds of 230 KLD STP plant any size and deposit the sludge/effluent outside the defence land complete all as specified at both Installation including applying two coats of lime wash inside the wall surface of the tanks and writing the words " DATE OF CLEANING" in capital letters of suitable size on outside visible place of tank with synthetic enamel paint (white over black back ground including cleaning of outside surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Rate quoted shall deemed to include the cost of vehicle arrangement for sludge collection by the contractor.
Material and Labour for Maintenance / oil servicing and Over hauling of air blower installed in STP 230 KLD of any make and capacity and cleaning, tightning the control cables , Checking elctrical connections of blower to ensure the smooth functioning by employing the Skilled trades man and helper all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for repair & rewinding of electrical motor up to 5 - 8.5 HP , 3 phase, 415 Volt by disconnecting the electric connection, including taking out horizontal submersible nonclog pump installed at equalisation tank/sewage collection champer/sump including disconnecting the electric connection, decoupling motor pump, removing foundation nuts, bolts and carrying the motor to workshop to carry out following repair/ rewinding as under complete all as specified and as directed:- (a) Cutting complete burnt and defective winding after opening body cover and separating starter and rotor. (b) Remove carbon by applying/rubbing sand paper and clean. (c) Insert insulating material such as insulating paper, sleeve, varnish etc. (d) Rewinding the stator with existing size of PVC copper winding wire. (e) Clean the rotary and assemble the motor and coupling with pump, re-connect electric connection and earth connection, test for full load complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and Fix in repair Filter of blower of installed in STP 230 KLD of any make and capacity as per existing size complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and Fix in repair of chlorine dosing / chemical dosing pump with necessary flexible pipe connection including tank of 100 ltrs capacity made out of FRP/PE body with all acessories containing port hole for pouring chlorination chemical and water when necessary including mounting frame for motor including taking down existing pumps and tanks at proper angle complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and Fix in repair Silica Quartz sand with pebbles of multi grade sand filter as per the existing filter media of size as per existing for STP 230 KLD after taking out the old sand complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and Fix in repair activated carbon filler as per the existing filter media of size as per existing for STP 230 KLD after taking out of old activated carbon from existing filter complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Testing of Raw/Treated sewage water sample parameter of STP through a NABL approved lab complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Manning and Operation for 1st year :- Providing services of ITI / ITC qualified tradesmen (Electrician / Diesel Mechanic) from 0600 hours to 0600 hours in 03 shifts of 8 hours each shift (one tradesman in each shift) for operation and maintanence of Sewage treatment plant 230 KLD at INHS SANJIVANI comprising of following Characteristic of Inlet raw sewage /out let treated sewage equipments/ machines and pump sets including testing and operation of valves and allied work including saturdays/ sundays/ holidays for operation of system as and when required and also carry out minor repairs / servicing /. recetification of faults as and when required to all machines/ Equipments and valves to ensure 100% serviceability and Maintain the ppm level both inlet raw sewage and out let treated sewage of plants and removing Scaling Materials, mud Materials grass/surface dressing from surrounding area, complete all as specified. Note for Item No 53 to 57:- (a) Record / daily log sheet shall be maintained in log book by the operator and should be approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. (b) The operator shall be responsible for checking and maintaining the water parameters like BOD < 10mg/Ltr, COD<30mg/Ltr, P.H 6.5-8.5, Faecal Coliform Nil in MPN/100ml, required chlorine 0.5, TSS <10mg/Ltr, Nitrogen N 5 mg/Ltr,Oil grease<10gm/Ltr . (c) Daily cleaning of floor area and maintaing a good and hygineic sanitation around the installation. (d) Stationary items suich as registers, log book etc should be provided by the contractor. (e) Non providing of operator in a day by the contractor shall invite penalty of Rs.2500/- per day from his due amount.
