Providing and Laying EPDM Single ply 1.50 mm thick water proofing membrane loose laid over the existing surface. The membrane must have Specific Weight Kg/m² - 1.9+0.20, Tensile Strength (MPa) - 9-Min (ASTM D-412), Elongation Ultimate (%) - 300-Min (ASTM D-412), Tear Strength - 26 kN/m Min. (ASTM D-624), Ozone Resistance - No Crack (ASTM D 1149), Resistance to outdoor (UV) weathering - No cracks, No crazing (ASTM D 26). The membrane must resist UV radiation and withstand sever weather conditions. The membrane must have a lap of 100mm properly sealed using seam tape or a liquid adhesive and again reseal the lap joint with self-adhesive synthetic tape of width 100mm. All loose particles to be cleaned with wire brush like dust laitance, grease, oils, curing compounds, release agents and other foreign materials in all respect including removal of all old and other treatments. The surface must be cleaned and blowed with air blower & any kind of cracks or pot holes to be repaired with non-shrink high strength fiber reinforced repair mortar. Primer coat of SBR a synthetic rubber emulsion to be applied @ 0.50 Kg/Sqm. Primer must be allowed to dry for 12 Hours before laying of EPDM.
