Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders.The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidder s end.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for these costs

The employer reserves the rights to reject one or all Tender without assigning any reasons

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing E-Procurement 2.0 Portal

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders

As per Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 1.01.2007 nad Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner otherwise it will be rejected

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the documents before approval

Materials required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should got tested by the quality control authority before use on the work.

Contractor should carryout additional test required to test the suitability of materials.

All safety precautions, warning signs, night illumination, reflectors, deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untoward incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity. Contractor should indemnify the client to that extent.

All precautions should be taken by the contractor so that there are no damages to such public/ private properties. If any damage is caused, it has to be rectified at his own risk and cost.

Contractor should follow strictly the prevailing rules of labour act.

At the time of agreement, the successfull bidder/contractor should submit proposed methodology and programme of construction backed with equipment and material planning, & deployment duly supported with broad calculation and quality management , plan, proposed to be adopted justifying their capability of execution , completion of the work and cast flow forecasts as per technical specifications and within the stipulated period of completion.

The successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit in the form of FDR/DD in the name of the Executive Engineer, PWD, Kodagu Division, Madikeri given below for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price plus additional security for unbalanced tenders in accordance with the Conditions of Contract.

The contractors assessed available tender capacity will be calculated as prescribed in tender document Attached.

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the Standard Tender documents attached.

Contractors should be registered with KPWD Class III & above Registration

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer should give all details and documents as per K.W-4

Work should be carried out as per K/W-4 STD attached with tender .

The eligible contractor should maintain the work FOR One YEAR AFTER THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT at his own cost.

All the items in the tender include all lead, lifts, labour, loading,unloading, transportation,hire charges of machinery curing for concrete works, and all other incidental charges necessary for successful completion of works as per the direction of Engineer in charge of this work.

In case if the death of a contractor, after executing the agreement / commencement of the work, his legal heir, if an eligible registered contractor and is willing, can execute and complete the work, at the accepted tender rates, irrespective of the cost of the work.

Units, Rates & Prices shall be quoted by the tenderer in Indian Rupees only

Contractor shall bound to comply the prevailing rules and regulations with regard to the EPF Contribution rules and any modifications thereof before and after execution of agreement

The FSD payable at the time of executing agreement, will be refunded only after successful completion of Defect Liability Period

Contractors has to submit their labour EPF details with every Running Bill

GST 18% shall be paid to the tendered amount separately.

The increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the Contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time.

Progress shall be in concurrence with Construction Schedule and CPM chart agreed.

All required safety measures for construction purpose,labourers as per Norms shall be the responsibility of the Contractor/Agency

To qualify award of this contract the tenderer should submit proof of work qualification,for having executed similar nature of works,costing not less than 50 % of the value of work.

Increase in GST will not be paid by the department in the extended period (If any) of contract for which contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time.

All the originals of uploaded documents in e-portal should be produced within 7 working days from the date of opening of Technical Bid at the Division Office, failing which the tender is liable for rejection and action may be initiated as per tender conditions and registration rules. No separate communication will be made in this regard.

The bidder who participates in tenders for more than one work for which tenders are invited in this IFT, the renderer must fulfill all the conditions and criteria cumulatively for the participated works.

The returns submitted to the Income Tax Department shall be uploaded or shall be produced at the time of verification of original documents at Division office.

LOC/ K-form for the stipulated amount should be submitted in the format as prescribed in the bid document only. Otherwise tender is liable for rejection.

The Bidder has to quote the price including all taxes (Except GST). GST at 18 Percent will be paid separately.

PERFORMANCE SECURITY AND ADDITIONAL PERFORMANCE SECURITY :Within 20 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit in any of the forms given below for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price plus additional security deposit for unbalanced tenders for an amount equal to the amount put to tender as per CSR minus quoted amount in the form prescribed in the bid document.

Estimate rates are excluding GST as per common SR 23-24 and prevailing GST (18% of amount put to tender) amount is kept in form of lumpsum and in sanctioned estimate according to guidelines in common SR. Therfore, amount put to tender and ECV amount are excluding GST. KPPP portal format has no option to add GST separately at the stage of Draft Tender Schedule (DTS) process for overall amount put to tender, tender has been inviting through an option with INCLUSIVE but the item wise rate do not including GST. Hence GST will be paid separately for the quoted amount accordingly.

The quantities for the necessary deviation road and cofferdam are provided on a one-time basis in the BOQ and any additional quantities required for completion of the work shall be deemed included in the Contractors rates, no extra payment shall be admissible, and such works shall be executed at the Contractors own cost and risk.

(updated to 2026-27 price level) N-Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which tenders are invited-9 Months. B-Value, at 2026-27 price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next 9 Months. (Period of completion of the works for which tenders are invited)
