(c) The operator shall be responsible for checking and maintaining the water parameters like BOD < 10mg/Lit, COD < 150 mg/Lit, P.H 5.5-8.5, E - Coil from count < 1000 MPN/100 ml, required chlorine 0.5, TSS < 100 mg /Lit , Oil and grease < 10 gm/Lit and the same shall be recorded and intimated to Engr-in-charge. (d) Daily cleaning of floor area and maintaining a good and hygeinic sanitation around the installation. (e) All stationery items such as registers, log books etc should be provided by the contractor. (f) The contractor shall be responsible for getting the STP water samples once a month by an NABL approved water testing laboratory and the test result to be submitted monthly as directed by the Enigneer-in -charge. (g) Non providing of operator in a day by the contractor shall invite penalty of Rs 5000/- per day from his due amount . (h) Labour for cleaning of sludge bed as and when required and disposal of sludge outside Naval Base( Labour for cleaning of sludge bed and disposal shall deemed to be included under the unit rate quoted.
