Excavation for roadway in soil using manual means for carrying of cut earth to embankment site with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead up to 50 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with tractor mounted grader on prepared surface mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401.

WBM Grading 2 -Providing and laying , spreding and compacting stone aggregate of 45-63mm size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness ,hand packing . Rolling with smooth whell roller 80-100 kn in stage to proper grade and camber ,applying and brooming ,stone screening /binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate ,watering and compacting to required density Grading -2 as per technical specification Clouse 405.

WBM Grading -3 -Providing laying , spreding and compacting stone aggregate of 22.4-53mm size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness ,hand packing . Rolling with smooth whell roller 80-100 kn in stage to proper grade and camber ,applying and brooming ,stone screening to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate ,watering and compacting to required density as per technical specification Clause 405.

Laying brick soling layer on prepared sub-grade with brick on edging according to lines, graded and cross-section shown on the drawing filling joints with sand and earth, spreading 25 mm thick layer of earth over brick soling, watering and rolliing as per Technical Specification Clause 412 (As Brick Edging)

Prime Coat-Providing and Applying primer coat with bitumin Emulsion (SS-1) ON prepared surface og granular base including cleaning of road sufaces& spraying primer at rate of 0.70-1.0kg/sqm using macanical means as per technical Specification Clouse 502.

Tack Coat-Providing and applying Tack with bitumin emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.35kg per sqm on the prepared surfaces

20mm Thick Open Graded Premix Carpet-Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates using VG-10 bitumen to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508. Seal Coat-Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type C, as per Technical Specification Clause 510. (By Mechanical Mean)
