Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil in foundation trenches or drains not exceeding 1.5mtr in width or 10sqm on plan including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms,lift upto 1.5mtr including getting out the excavated soil,and disposal of surplus earth lead upto 50 mtr as directed by MIC.

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil in over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth ,1.5m in width as well as 10sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m ,disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed.

Filling of available excavated earth in trenches ,plinths ,sides of foundation ,in emabankment etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth ,consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m.as directed by MIC.

Excavation of ash including disposal of excavated ash upto a lead of 50m and lift upto 1.5m ,disposed ash to be filled ,levelled and dressed as directed by MIC.

Earthwork in surface excavation in all kinds of soil not exceeding 30cm in depth and 1.5m in width as well as 10sqm on plan including disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50m & lift upto 1.5m ,disposed soil to be levelled and neatly dressed as directed by MIC.

Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation & in-equalities not exceeding 15cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m for all kinds of soil.

Extra rates for quantities of works, executed In or under water and/or liquid mud, including pumping out water as required.The extra percentage rate is applicable in respect of each item but limited to quantities of work executed in these difficult conditions. The unit, namely, metre depth, to be considered for payment, shall be the depth measured from the sub soil water level upto the centre of gravity of the quantity executed in difficult conditions. The depth shall be reckoned correct to 0.1 metre. 0.05 metre or more shall be taken as 0.1 metre and less than 0.05 metre ignored.

Cutting /clearing of grass,bush ,vegetation etc. from ash pond emabankment ,rock toes, PCU etc. including removal of debris and disposal of the same in designated areas all complete as per the direction of MIC.

Clearing jungle including uprooting/cutting of rank vegetation,grass,brush wood ,trees ,saplings of girth upto 30cm from ash pond embankments ,inside PCU,in ash pipe corridor line etc. and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50.0m outside the periphery of the area cleaned.

Excavation of approved type of soil for ash pond emabankment from approved borrow area by manual labour or by mechanical means ,loading, transporting by mechanical transport within ash pond area upto 5Km lead and unloading of earth on or near the embankment including backfilling by ramming watering compacting etc complete or spreading over areas as directed by Manager In charge.

Same as item No 10 but for transporting earth from borrow area outside ash pond boundary upto a lead of 10Kms including royalty charges etc.all complete.

Transportation/ diposal of surplus excavated earth/ash/moorum/debris/hyacinth by mechanical transport within a lead of 3.0KMs including re-excavating the same if required, loading, unloading and dressing at unloaded site etc. complete as per the direction of MIC.

Taking delivery of HDPE pipes (200mm dia) from PCU/CPP central store to ash pond or vice versa. Payment shall be made on production of gate pass. (All the safety masures shall be taken care by the contractor such as keeping the pipe in contractors own custody at his own cost)

Maintenance of HDPE pipeline such as keeping in contractors own custody carriage of the pipes to the required loaction inside ash pond area fixing the same with MS ash slurry discharge pipes including fixing HDPE pipes with necesssary bolts, keeping the pipe ends lifted with necessary wooden props/ash fill bags about 500 mm above ash deposit etc. lifting of pipe joints ,cleaning of ash deposits over the pipes upto a depth of 300 mm,removing chokage in pipes ,tightening of nuts at leakage joints etc.and dismantling the pipe line after discontinuing of discharge or for shifting of discharge point. when and whereever required including watch and ward in 3 shifts complete. (All the safety measures shall be taken care by the contractor at his own cost.)

( Supply and stacking of approved type of earth shall be paid separately under relevant item.)

Dismantling & removal of filter core ,rocktoe ,rip rap filters etc at all levels and disposal of unserviceable materials ,debris (except rock boulders & good condition SW pipes)to a designated place of dumping within the periphery of ash pond area and stacking stone boulders, usable stoneware pipes etc separately at a suitable nearby location for further use as per the direction of MIC with all tools, plants and labour etc.all complete including dewatering of rain water/seepage water through embankment ,if any. (Payment shall be made based on the measurement of volume of dismantling of the composite section. The disposal of unserviceable materials shall be paid separately in the relevant item. )

Transporting and placing in position available scrap/ released MS pipes/ HDPE pipes of diameter 200mm to 350mm for cross drains in embankments/roads etc.

Providing, hoisting and fixing above plinth level up to floor five level precast reinforced cement concrete work in string courses, bands, copings, bed plates, anchor blocks, plain window sills and the like, including the cost of required centering, shuttering but, excluding cost of reinforcement, with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Emergency repair to ash leakage from the rock toe or D/S slopes of dykes including opening of rocktoe, choked filters , slush, SW pipes and cleaning of debris including draining out seepage water/ ash mix water etc and arresting the ash leakage by putting filter materials (sand and stone chips) as per the direction of Manager In charge, relaying the toe filter with removed SW pipes and filter materals and reloading the stone boulders to propor profile including engaging manpower for observation of mimnimum 8 hours after competion of the job all comlpete.(New filter materials like sand,stone chips, SW pipes shall be taken from the stacks. ) NB:-The emergency repair work shall be continued till completion of the job without any break.

Supply of unskilled manpower for assistance in handling of materials in Sub-Store and 5-S practices in PCU ISO14001works,assistane in pond surveying , and other miscellaneous jobs.

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge.
