Vadodara Division: Provision of Manual Rescue Operation (MRO) device in Elevators of M/s Johnson Lifts Pvt. Ltd. installed at various stations of BRC division.

A- Provision of MRO in Lifts

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of Manual Rescue Operation (MRO) device assembly for 20-passengers capacity, Ground + 1, Machine Room Less (MRL) type Elevators - The price shall cover for supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of Manual Rescue Operation (MRO) device assembly for 20 passenger capacity, Ground + 1, Machine Room Less (MRL) type Elevators which includes - a) Service access panel for MRL Type-5 with provision for rescue lever - 1 No b) Brake releasing lever assembly (MRL) for WTY1-1360-125 - 1 No c)B rake releasing cable - 8.0 meter length (for 408, 544, 680, 884 and 1088 series machines) - 1 No d) Components mounting cover - 1 No e) Connecting lever for WTY1-1360 - 1 No Scope of work - 1. Scope of work covers provision of Manual Rescue Operation (MRO) device in 13 Nos Elevators of M/s Johnson Lifts Pvt. Ltd. installed at FOBs of various stations of Vadodara Division. It includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new electrical items mentioned in the tender schedule at site as per technical specifications. Materials used on the job shall be new and samples got approved by the Engineer-in-charge. 2. All the materials, equipment, its accessories shall be conforming to the industry standards, and in accordance with the specifications of the OEM, confirming to relevant IS 1 only. Relevant standards shall be followed in carrying out the work, and the decision of department shall be final and binding. 3. The Contractor shall be responsible for safe and smooth operation of the elevators after installation of the Manual Rescue Operation (MRO) device. 4. The Contractor shall be responsible for transportation and delivery of materials to site or to the storage space and shall continue to be responsible for its safe storage, handling, erection and commissioning. 5. Minor civil works necessary to carry out the proposed work shall be done by the contractor. 6. Work is to be executed in co-ordination with other concerned departments. It is to be carried out with utmost care to avoid any disturbance to the railway operations, station activities or inconvenience to the occupants/users/passengers. GUARANTEE/WARRANTY - The materials supplied/required shall be covered under guarantee/warrantee for a period of minimum one year from the certified date of commissioning or as specified otherwise. During the guarantee/warrantee period all defective parts should be repaired or replaced at free of cost. TESTING AND COMMISSIONING - As specified in technical specification of the item/equipment, the successful contractor shall organize testing and commissioning of installation/equipment and components as decided by engineer's representative and the same shall be witnessed by engineer's representative. The contractor shall arrange demonstration of the working and operation of the Manual Rescue Operation device for the frontline staff at all the locations covered in the tender. The staff shall be trained to operate the system in case of emergency.
