Providing Terracotta Colour clay tile wall cladding with supporting arrangements in Auditorium and Library front portion for the work of Construction of Grand library and Intellectual center at Trichy in Tiruchirappalli District.

Supplying and fixing of the terracotta clay tiles of 395 × 95 × 20 mm of approved make (Wienerberger / Hunter Douglas or equivalent) of approved colour & pattern is fixed on specially designed magnesium aluminum alloy coated steel board of size 1200 × 600 × 0.80 mm of approved make (Posco / JSW or equivalent), which is supported on the aluminum anodized L-profiles of 50 × 50 × 2mm are fixed at an interval of 600 mm c/c in vertical direction by aluminum brackets, anchoring bolts of minimum 110 mm length in the base structure. The terracotta clay tiles (Imported) should have the following specifications, Abrasion resistance ASTM C241/C241M-15 of 8., Gray scale value 4 under ASTM G154-12a Cycle 1 & ASTM D2244-15a & ASTM D2616-12., Static coefficient of friction as per ASTM C1028-07 Dry condition 1.11 and wet condition 0.70., Chemical resistance as per ANSI Z124.6-2007 clause 5.20 with total rating of 76 and maximum stain depth 0.101mm., Water absorption ASTM C97/C97M-15 12.40 and Bulk specific gravity of 1.83. The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials, labour, conveyance, lifting, fixing and all other incidental charges, excluding scaffolding charges with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers. All the materials shall be got approved from the Executive Engineer before use on works.
