INTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY WORKS

Point wiring using approved colour coding as per IS, with stranded copper conductor 1.5 Sq. mm (nominal area), single core, flame retardant low smoke (FRLSH), PVC insulated and unsheathed cable 1100 volts grade, ISI 694 marked TEC and FIA approved in and including heavy duty PVC concealed conduit and its fittings, ISI marked, PVC junction boxes, mild steel sunken boxes (Terminal boxes) with earth dolly, duly painted internally & externally with two coats of anti-corrosive paint over a coat of red oxide primer, covered with 3mm thick hylem sheet including flame retardant low smoke (FRLSH) PVC insulated unsheathed stranded copper conductor 1.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) single core cable as earth continuity conductor to common earth and connected to earth dolly complete all as specified, for the following: -

(a) One light point controlled by one switch or one (Ceiling/ Wall/ Exhaust) fan point controlled by one switch and regulator and one bell point controlled by one bell push

(b) One 3 pin 5 Amps socket outlet on independent board

(c ) One 3 pin 5 Amps socket outlet on same board

One socket outlet point, 16 Amp, independent, with 2.5 sqmm (nominal area) cable for phase & neutral and 2.5 sqmm (nominal area) cable as earth continuity conductor.

Sub main wiring using approved colour coding as per IS with three (two for main & one for earth) single core, PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLSH multistranded copper conductor cables of size 6.00 sqmm (nominal area) 1100 volts grade, drawn through & including heavy duty PVC concealed conduit of suitable bore and connected to main board complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Three runs each of one RM of 6.00 sqmm cable together with conduit shall be considered as 1 running meter for payment purpose.

ROAD, PATH AND CULVERTS

Bringing approved earth from outside MoD land including cost of earth and carriage complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, Laying, compaction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications i.e Grading II, conforming to Clause 401 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller of capacity 8 to 12 tonne to achieve the desired density, 150 mm thick compacted thickness, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Providing, Laying. compaction of Wet Mix Macadam conforming to Clause 406 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) , 250 mm thick (compacted thickness,125 mm thick in two separate layers) with mechanically crushed graded stone aggregates and granular material (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ), grading of aggregates as per Table 400-13 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) ,including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density , required gradient and camber etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES: 1. The WMM shall be laid in two layers i.e each layer of 125 mm thick (compacted thickness). 2. For payment purpose,both layers shall be considered as one unit.

Preparation of un-surfaced Wet Mix macadam (WMM) surfaces by sweeping clean by power broom or mechanical sweepers and removing completely all loose material and other foreign material and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressors to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming coat on un-surfaced wet mix macadam surfaces conforming to Clause 502 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion SS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 7.5 kg per 10 sq metres using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying & compaction of Bituminous Macadam (BM) 50 mm Compacted thickness conforming to Clause 504 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc. of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), premixed with bituminous binder, Bitumen grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Mix Design for bituminous macadam shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumenand if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Preparation of bituminous surfaces and applying evenly a Tack coat conforming to Clause 503 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion RS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 2.5 kg per 10 sq metres using using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) Bituminous Concrete (BC) layer conforming to clause 507 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, 5.5% binder (paving Bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved Job Mix Formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen to the specific temperature, thoroughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives as per mix design in Hot Mix Plant (Batch Type) of 100-120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks, or any other approved and suitable arrangements, laying the hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber thorough rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface, including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

60mm thick machine pressed precast concrete (of M-35 grade) interlocking paver block, manufactured in an automatic plant working on vibration and simultaneous hydraulic compression from top, (with grey cement and pigment) any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 laid over and including 50mm thick cushion of coarse sand & filling the joints after laying complete all as specified and as directed.

Hot applied thermoplastic road marking inclusive type I reflectorising glass beads as per table 800-3, 800-4 of MORTH applied in uniform thickness of at least 1.5mm and spread uniformly with reflectorising glass beads type-II @ 250 gms per sqm with a road marking machine as per IRC:35,in white or golden yellow colour with traffic diversion arrangemets if required, complete all as specified and as directed.

Road stud / cat eye ABS material body of size 100x100x20mm with two highly reflective reflectors fitted in the body, fixed with MS pin & approved epoxy adhesive as per manufacturer instruction on road , of colour as directed complete all as specified and as directed.

Road safety convex mirror 80cm dia. for road safety and shop security with adjustable brackets fixed on MS tube of size 60mm dia medium grade duly painted powder coated , 1.2m high fixed in PCC as per manufacturer instruction on road side or as directed complete all as specified .

Solar road stud of size 128x134x20-25mm made from aluminium alloy and construction , solar powered by mono crystal solar panel with one high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery to be fixed on road with approved epoxy adhesive as per manufacturer instruction of colour Red/ amber/green as desired complete all as specified and as directed.

Readymade ABS plastic speed breaker / speed bumps of size 350x250x50mm designed so dynamically and compact to bear max load , with reflectors moulded in PMMA material to be fixed on road as per manufacturer instruction complete all as specified and as directed.

COMPOUND/SECURITY WALL FENCING & GATE / GROUND AND HARD STANDING

Preparing newly plastered surface of wall / concrete surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of exterior emulsion paint over a coat of primer of approved shade / tint complete all as specified and directed

INTERNAL WATER SUPPLY WORKS

Wall mixer cast copper alloy with bend pipe for overhead shower for 'Hot or Cold' screweddown for 15mm bore iron pipe or brass ferrule complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Central hole basin mixer cast copper alloy with 450mm braided connection pipe ( without pop up ) , fancy type chromium plated screwed down, high pressure, with or without lettered 'Hot or Cold' screwed for 15mm bore iron pipe or brass ferrule complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Sink mixer ( wall mounted ) cast copper alloy with 150mm long swivel spout , connecting legs and wall flanges , fancy type chromium plated screwed down, high pressure, with or without lettered 'Hot or Cold' screwed for 15mm bore iron pipe or brass ferrule complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

LIGHTENING PROTECTION

Earthing with 600x600x6mm galvanised steel earth plate electrode buried vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate at a depth of not less than 1.5m below ground level, connected to and including G.I. Strip of size 32x6 mm by means of bolts,nuts and check nuts and washers of galvanised steel to the extent of 7.5 metres as earthing lead and connecting to the eqpt/machinery etc. incl charcoal dust and common salt packed all around the earth plate in alternate layer in the earth pit all as per electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part I-2009 including chamber made up of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 with M.S. angle iron frame, C.I. Cover, 20mm dia light grade G.I. Pipe from top edge of the earth plate upto M.S. funnel with wire mesh provided inside the concrete earth pit for watering arrangement incl excavation and earth work in any type of soil and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note :- GI Strip more than 7.5 mtr will be measured and paid separately

Earthing complete with and including galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm surrounded by a mixture of charcoal and salt in alternate layers burried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected with and including 4 mm galvanised earth lead wire as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of galvanised iron, 20 mm bore (medium grade) GI pipe for protection of earthing lead, 20 mm bore (medium grade) GI pipe for watering with funnel, wire mesh and including necessary excavation and earth work, PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 pit and 50 mm thick RCC M-25(Design mix) reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 3 kg/sq m) pit cover, C.I frame, charcoal and comman salt filling in alternate layers, complete all as shown and specified in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part-I (1991). Note : 1. Earth chamber shall be constructed at least 1.50 metre away from the top of earth electrode, the earth pit and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. 2. The unit rate includes for protecton pipe 20mm and GI earth wire 4mm from top of earth plate upto 7.50 metre above ground level.

Supply,installation, testing and commissioning air cooled split unit Air Conditioner electric driven single phase of cap 1.5 TR having EER star rating not less then 4.5 (WW) , inverter type complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Cost of stand for outdoor unit , copper pipe, insulation material for copper pipe and drainout pipe from indoor unit to outside building is inclusive in the unit rate of item quoted by contractor.

SOLAR WATER HEATING SYSTEM WORKS

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of solar water heater with heat exchanger type, conforming to IS 12933 & 13129 for cold region of 500 litre/ day capacity with electric heating backup of 4 KW and rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank (cylindrical vertical tank with close top) of 500 Ltr capacity, triple layer as make up water tank including 20mm dia brass float valve, SS Puff insulated hot water collecting tank of suiatable capacity, hoisted and fixed in position on suitable steel staging as directed by GE complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) The system shall be tested on completion to ensure that 500 litres of water at 60 Degree centigrade is available in hot water tank on normal day in cold season. (ii) All other pipe/civil work, electrical work, providing electric connection with wire, MCB, conduit etc as per manufacturer's instruction all as required shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (iii) Normal water pipes and accessories from and including cold water make up tank upto & including hot water SS tank, all other pipe/civil work, electrical work, providing electric connection with wire, MCB, conduit etc as per manufacturer's instruction all as required shall deemed to be included in quoted unit rate.

PLAY GROUNDS

Polycarbonate board of size 1800 x1100 x 25mm thick of make:- Nalco or as approved by GE, fixed in angle iron frame of 25 x 25 x 3mm thick, basket ring of 45cm dia made of 12mm dia plain mild sheet round bar and synthetic net complete and fixed to post with standard nuts and bolts complete all as specified and directed. Note: Mild steel work will be measured and paid for seperately under respective item of Schedule 'A' Section XIV

Note: For the purpose of arriving at lumpsum amount, the amount of credit sch for buildings and other services i.e Sch 'A' section XVII (i.e Rs 25,51,384.00 shall be deducted from the total amount arrived.
