Taking down existing loop in loop out junction box, disconnecting the cable connections and refixing the same loop in loop out junction box with new cable connections including providing new set of aluminium lugs / thimbles of size 10 to 35 sqmm (as reqd) for 3.5/4 core existing LT cable of any type, necessary insulation with tape, clamps for fixing of cables, fittings and fixtures, nut bolts etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for disconnecting electrical connection of defective / burnt out UG LT cable of any size 2 to 4 core from LT Panels / main switch / DB / Junction boxe etc., excavating & taking out required length (3 to 5m) of existing cable from its loop, cleaning & cutting the defective portion of cable / old termination at end, providing new aluminium thimbles / lugs of suitable size and reconnecting the same with existing location and refilling of cable trench with existing sand and bricks complete all as directed. Note :- (i) The rate quoted shall include for necessary earth work and excavation. (ii) Serviceable sand and Bricks shall be re-used for protection.

Comprehensive maintenance of 25 KVA UPS once in a month or as and when directed by Engr-in-Charge / as per requirement by a qualified technician of OEM, comprising of the following outlined services complete all as specified and directed:- Notes:- (i) The Contractor's technical team shall visit the installation site for periodic preventive maintenance, check up of the UPS system and batteries every month. System shall be cleaned and general performance will be checked and report shall be submitted to the Engr-in-Charge. (ii) DC back up source will be maintained by applying white petroleum jelly, checking / servicing of batteries including toping up of distilled water etc as applicable. (iii) Apart from the periodic preventive maint visits, all breakdown calls for the systems covered under the contract shall be attended / troubleshooted including Sunday and holidays. (iv) Cost of all the minor spares (including inverter transformer) to put the UPS in working condition shall deemed to be incl in unit rate quoted complete however supply & replacement of major components shall be measured seperately under relevant Items. (v) Response time during normal working hours shall not be more than 4 Hrs from the time of receipt of complaint and the resolution time shall be maximum 48 hrs, based on the nature of complaint and replacement of components and boards. (vi) Standby UPS of similar capacity shall be provided by the contractor on site till the repair of UPS. Transport / rent of the same shall be borne by the contractor during the contract period and unit rate quoted shall deemed to include this aspect complete all as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Decarbonising / cleaning of Existing LT panel cubical type of size from 0.5m x 0.5m x 0.3m to 1.5m x 1.5m x 0.6m, consisting of bus bar and circuit chamber, metering chambers CTs and relays chambers, checking the bus bar joints, bus bar and circuit spouts, cleaning and applying Busbar Insulation Tape to the bus bars , checking the current transformer, applying Monoplast compound at the bus bar joints after tightening of joints ,replaced new suiable size of lugs /suitable copper control cable and reassembling , if any rusted sheet replaced with new sheet as per existing size including 01 coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and writing panel number complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of T&P and minor spares like lubricants, nuts / bolts / washers / pins etc. (ii) Major spares like contacts, shunt trip coil, relays, CTs etc if replaced, shall be measured & paid separately.

M&L for maintenance and attending complaints / breakdowns at MWC, TPW, SMHQ, Fleet Office, FMU comprising of LT panels, over head lines / underground LT cables up to main distribution boards at buildings including day to day maintenance of LT panels / Perimeter lights for smooth & trouble free LT power supply including rectification of minor defects to electrical controls gear / accessories as directed by Engr-In -charge. Note : Unit rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of the following:- (a) Attending minor repairs / breakdowns without involving any new (major) materials. (b) Rate shall include cost to provide tools for attending break down and minor materials like lugs, PVC tapes, including issue / maintaining Job Cards and Complaint registers etc. (c) Major repairs / Break downs involving S&F of materials such as cables, Joints, MCCBs etc are outside the scope of this item and shall be measured and paid separately. (d) Contractor should ensure to carry out the work through qualified Technician / Electrician and assisted by the helper.
