Taking down /dismantling of defective Power transformer capacity 6.30/8.00 MVA installed at 66 KV Main receiving station/Grid AF Stn Ambala (Approx weight 22 Ton) from the platform after disconnecting 66 KV and 11 KV HT connections and removing with the help of suitable T&P including safe lifting of power transformer, safety of the persons involving in this job i.e from 66 KV yard and transporting 6.30/8.00 MVA power transformer to workshop permises for repair/overhauling comprising of the following activities:- (i) Opening of top cover of transformer by opening all mechanicial parts, nuts, bolts etc and lifting of core assembly to examining the damaging of winding, drain out of transformer oil. (ii) Drying the transformer body inside including conservator to remove foreign particules and re-assembling the transformer 6.30/8.00 MVA capacity after re-winding of coils , coil assembly, core replacement, pouring of transformer oil including cleaning of core/any type of repair to core assembly, main tank and conservator tank, core coils assembly ovening for 7 days to achieve desired insulation value of core, consumable items required during installation of transformer, testing of earthings, servicing and testing of Buchholz relay, serving bushing CTs, WTI & OTI to make transromer in serviceable conditions. (iii) Testing of transformer as per lastest IS after repair in workshop in the presence of rep of Accepting officer. (iv) Transporation the 6.30/8.00 MVA power transformer from workshop to power house at AF Stn Ambala after repair including loading/unloading. (v) Installation, connection, testing and commissioning of transformer to the entire satisfaction.
Notes:- (i) During the transportation from site to workshop and back, contractor will be solely responsible for safe carrying of this trasnformer without any damaging to the body of power transformer and connected accessories etc by using suitable heavy vehicle including safely loading unloading of power transformer in the workshop. (ii) The transformer shall be opened and inspected in presence of rep of Accepting officer before repair to access the major repair involved and after repair following test shall be carried out before transporting back to site:-(a)Transformer winding insulation test. (b) Transformer bushing insulation test and turn ratio test . (c) Measurement of winding resistance (d) Core insulation test (e) Oil charastric test (f) IR measurement test. . (iii) As per lastest IS, the routine test has to be carried out at power house by Engineer from the same workshop, in presence of rep of Accepting officer. (iv) During transportation of transformer, the contractor shall take the accidental insurance of requisite amount for transformer and shall submit copy of same before carrying transformer to workshop and vice- versa. (v) The contractor shall make arrangements to visit workshop for Rep of Accepting officer and commissioning at site after installation of power transformer. (vi) There shall be two year warranty period from the date of compeletion of work for smooth functioning of the power transformer and contractor shall submit requisite undertaking in this regard. In case any problem occur during warranty period, the contractor will attend the problem within 8 hours on intimation given by concerned JE/Engr-in-charge telephonically or otherwise a penalty of Rs 5000 shall be made and the defects shall be rectified at your risk and cost. (vii) The rates deemed to be include for marking good of transformer platform, road, earthing pit, etc as exists if damaged due to installation of power transformer. (viii) The repair of transformer includes repair/replacement of Misc minor items such as gasket , 66/11 KV bushing, safety controls items, breathers, cooling fans, oil level gauge duly marking minimum / normal/ miximum, tap changer, alarm control / protective device, temperature indicator of range 0 to 150 degree centigrade, Buchholz relay with alarm / trip contacts, air realease plug, silca gel, nuts, bolts etc. (ix) The insulation and transformer oil shall be measured and paid separetely as supply only and winding shall be measured and paid separetely as M&L.
Material and labour for cutting and removing the old burnt winding from all the limbs of transformer in replacement for primary winding (66KV- EHV side) and secondary winding ( 11 KV - HV side) with new disk winding with new copper wound coils by using multi paper covered copper conductor of size,weight & gauge as per recommended by the manufacturer's instruction / existing for power transformer suitable for 6.30/8.00 MVA complete all as specified and directed. Note : A rep of the Accepting officer shall be detailed to visit the factory permises for the actual weight and gauge assessment.
Supply only transformer oil with dielectric strenght 60 KV as per latest IS suitable for 6.30/8.00 MVA power transformer complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Draining out of existing transformer oil is included in Ser No 01here-in-before. .
Supply only high tension (HT) insulation material suitable for 66/11KV transformer, superior quality for seperating the EHV to HV and HV to core winding of power transformer coils for all the phases (set of three) complete all as specified and as directed. Note : 1. The insulation of winding shall be designed to with stand voltage stress arising from surge in transmission line due to atmospheric or transient conditions caused by tripping etc. 2. The core coil shall be open in presence of Accepting officer during core cutting at workshop premises.
Material & Labour brazing for fabrication and associated work for connections of wire 6.30/8.00 MVA transformer capacity, 66/11 KV complete all as specified and directed .
