Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required line, grades cutting and trimming of side slopes , camber, super elevation and level shown as per the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge at site according to the M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and 1600 sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transporation including head load or animals transport or by mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and other incidental necessary to complete the work by mechanical means /labour if required. All useful materials such as stone, shingles, aggregates and slates etcetera shall be sorted out and stacked in proper stack . Recovery of stones to the tune of - cubic metre quantity at the rate of Rupees 300/- (Rupees three hundred) only per Cubic Metre shall be effected from the contractor, running bills on pro-rata basis as per quantity actually executed. Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from road way cutting and excavation from drains and foundations of all other structures, graded and compacted in 200mm (two hundred milimetres) thickness with Three Wheel Roller 80-100 (eighty-hundred) KN static weight roller to meet the requirement of tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and 1600 including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer- In –Charge. The rate is including octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera and other similar structure in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling /wedging out rocks ( Where blasting is prohibited) complete in accordance with the line and dimensions shown in the drawings as per M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer- In – Charge including setting out shoring and bracing , removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layer not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty milimeter) compacted thickness including shoring, strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water ) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arrise out during dewatering as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental . Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion pressure (RS-I) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.275 kgs. (Zero decimal two seven five kilogrammes) per square metre on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per MORD technical specification section 500, as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental.
