DRIP II - Sabarigiri HEP- Painting the radial gate and hoist structure of Anathode dam

Painting all the exposed surfaces of the gate and embedded parts with two coats of epoxy coal tar black paint confirming to IS14948 with a minimum film thickness of 150+/-5 microns per each coat over two coats of priming coat applied with zinc primer containing not less than 85% of zinc on dry film thickness of 70+/-5 microns , so that the total film thickness of all coats including priming coat at any rate is not less than 350 microns after grit blasting and cleaning the surface to class A standard of IS14177. The rate includes cost & conveyance of all materials, labour charges for cleaning and grit blasting , cost of testing all painting materials ,scaffolding charges, all incidental charges, hire of T&P etc complete as per the direction of department officers at site

Painting the old iron works with synthetic enamel paint two coats over priming coat after scraping and cleaning the surface. The rate includes cost of all materials,priming coat, labour charges etc. complete as per specification and as directed by departmental officers at site

Changing the gear oil, replacing the relay systems/ switches push button(uppering & lowering) etc. providing hinges, handle, locking arrangement etc. at the switch box of hoisting structure including cost of all materials, labour charges etc. complete as per specification and as directed by departmental officers at site

Providing and fixing of informative, directional, and identification signboards at various locations in the dam, such as the foundation gallery, inspection gallery, adit, block joints, passages, lifts, etc., made using vinyl stickers printed and affixed on 3 mm thick ACP boards of size, including 30 cm × 20 cm and similar. The matter shall be neatly printed on vinyl sticker sheets and pasted onto the ACP boards, and the boards shall be fixed at the respective locations inside the dam galleries or other specified areas. The rate shall include the cost of all materials, printing, transportation, labour, fixing charges etc, complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
