Rejuvenation and repairing of existing runway surface at Dehradun Airport.

Supplying of petroleum-based Rejuvenator in sealed drums including transportation, loading, unloading and stacking at site. Make: Emulcote PME Rejuvenator (and not road emulsion RS/MS/SS type) or equivalent, recommended by CSIR-CRRI, for Rejuvenation of flexible pavement of Runway Surface as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only petroleum-based Rejuvenator primer for application over flexible pavement of Runway in sealed drums including transportation, loading, unloading and stacking as per the directions of Engineer In charge.

Laying of rejuvenator only through authorized applicators of manufacturer for Job Work of rejuvenation of Runway by surface preparation, removal of dust and loose particles, degreasing where applicable and application of first layer of rejuvenator of standard dilution before rejuvenation and carrying out detailed inspection of surface to assess the further requirements of repair and rejuvenation of runway surface. Application of second layer CSIR-CRRI recommended proven rejuvenator (and not road emulsion) in standard dilution with designed maximum concentration up to 0.5 Ltr/sqm to seal final cracks as spray/ spread over wearing course for repair, where required, and rejuvenation of entire surface. Runway Surface clearance on completion for handing over the work for operations as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) Work will be executed only during night hours after closure of operation. Men, material and T&P need to be removed after work, cleaning of site etc. all complete as per operational requirements and every morning site shall be handed over to ATC free from all encumbrances/operational hindrances. 2) Minimum arrangement to be made at site for night working shall include genset (20 KVA), halogen lights with stand (min 10 nos.), tractor with trolley, supervisor (skilled), electrician (skilled), necessary wires cables etc. and any other equipment as per requirements for working in operational area. 3) The above arrangements are only indicative and any other necessary requirements for smooth working during night hours shall be made as per site conditions and the directions of Engineer-In-Charge. 4)The rates are inclusive of all manpower, T&P, working in night hours etc. involved in laying of Rejuvenator complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Rectification and Treatment of existing uneven Bituminous surface by deployment of requisite machinery, grinding the surface unevenness to match with existing surrounding surface, removal of loose and uneven top surface material. The work shall be executed with expert Labour and machinery to prevent any damaged to existing pavement as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge. Note: 1) Work will be executed only during night hours after closure of operation.
