Part-I (Repair / maint of helipad at Pooh and Sumdo)

Demolition of flexible / rigid pavement of any description and in any position by means of machanical methed including cutting by machine of existing edges / boundary of any thikness and removing the material exc. 5 km but not exc. 8 km complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150mm thick dry lean concrete (DLC) of aggregate gradation as per table 1 of SP 49: 2014 having 7 days average compressive strength not less than 7 Mpa. Minimum cement content not less than 140 Kg/Cum DLC mixed in batching plant, transported to site and laid by electronic sensor paver including spreading and compacting using high aplitude tamping bars of paver (initial compaction) further by double drum smooth wheeled vibratory roller with 80-100 KN static weight to achieve minimum dry dencity not less than 98% of maximum dry density, necessary finishing etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : Tolerences to be as per table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge work 2013.

M&L for 10mm thick sand cushion with clean river sand duly clear of residual, organic and deleterious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness laid over DLC layer complete all as specified and directed. Note : No additional amount to be paid for overlap and deemed included in quoted rate.

M&L for 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (virgin quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/ Sqm over sand cushion with overlap between adjecent strips and at transverse joints as minimum 300mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for pavement quality concrete (PQC) as per design mix having minimum 28 days field flexural strength of 45kg/ sqcm or 4.5Mpa, aggregate gradation as per table 3 of IRC 15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong, dense, non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone, fine aggregate of clean natural sand using minimum cement content of 360 kg/cum of PQC with non-circular, virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant, with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting tenperature as 240 degree celcious and minium tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacturer, PQC laid, spread and compacted as per standard engineering practice of minimum 7.50m width, including curing and tining complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The design mix shall be got done from approved lab and got approved from GE/AGE (I) before commencement of work. (ii) In the event of variation in the design mix in the minimum cement content will be adjusted through supply only rate at market rate or procurment rate whichever is more for cement. However no plus adjustment shall be applicable, if excess quantity of cement content is used/ approved in the execution of work under this items. (iii) Non circular/ triagular fibre shall be measured and paid separately as supply only.

Supply only polyester non-circular/traingular fibres 12mm long with circum circle diameter 30-35 micron, designed for melting point of 240-260 degree celcius and having specific gravity of 1.34 to 1.40 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for finishing surface of concrete pavements by belting and brooming without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of construction joint 10mm wide and 25mm deep by early entry saw cut using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joiont cleaned throughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegeration and other debirs. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 12 mm dia, application of bond breaker tape on top of back up mrod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minumum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacture complete as specified and directed

M&L for forming Contraction/ Dummy joints with an initial saw cut of 3 mm soon after the concrete has set, upto a depth of 1/3rd to 1/4th the thickness of the slab, widening the first saw cut to 6 mm and 24 mm deep by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward ans backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 8 mm dia, application of bond breaker tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) OF +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed.

M&L for two coats of painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on bituminous/concrete surfaces exc 10 cm width, colour of water base paint shall be white or gloden yellow and black as per the requirment of Helipad including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 2.5mm thick road marking strip (reflective) of specified shade colour using hot thermostatic material by fully automatic thermostatic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, gum beds dispenser propane tank healers and profile shoe heater driven by skilled operator on road surface including cost of material labour, T&P, sealing the road surface of all dirt scales oil greases and foreign material etc complete all specified and as per the specification of the applicator and directed.

Part-II (Repair / maint of helipad at Karcham)

M&L for racking out old existing sealant compound and back up rod of the existing joints by special tools like cutting blades/ machines, widening of joints by 2mm maximum width of joint 16 to 25mm, by using joint cutting blades of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned throughly with application of compressed air, Joint shall be made dry, vacuum aleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before pouring the sealant. Therefore filled with closed cell, midium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 12 mm dia for complete length of the joint, over it to be filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirement mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% complete all as specified and as directed.

Descripition same all as per item No-14 above, but width of joint 10-15mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair to existing surface of pavement by cutting inverted trapezoidal sectios in regular shapes by diamond cutters and chiselling, removing loose concrete, cleaning with compressed air and washing with chemical water solution, priming with epoxy resin primer at the rate of 0.34 kg/sqm applied by sprayer or brush and making good with epoxy mortar, including disposal of rubbish to a distance 250m but n'exc 500m complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The washing agent shall of 15% diluted hydrochloride.

Demolition of un-reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for with and including removing to a distance exc 1.50 Km but not,exc 5.00 km and deposite where directed complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying dry clean sand spreading, leveling in layers 10mm thick consolidated complete all as specified and as directed Note : Sand for filling shall 1.18mm single size and and sand shall pass 100% through 2.36mm sieve and shall be 100% retain on 600 micron sieve

M&L for polythene film (transparent colour) in single layer of 400 micron thickness, virgin quality as per ASTM D2103/IS" 2508 laid over sand layer with side and end overlapping not less than 150mm complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) Measurement shall be taken for net area and unit rate quoted shall deemed to include for over lapping. (b) Sand layer will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

M&L for forming 25mm width expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC. Early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned throughly with aplication of compressed ait. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil vegetation and other debris. The joint then filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia, over over filler board and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed.
