Only firms registered with PCMD, S.C. Railway are eligible for placement of orders (if the firm is registered for limited number of items, their offer will be considered for that item only for which they are registered)

The item/Brand/Make should possess BIS/ISI certification. If BIS/ISI certification is not available, then the firm should possess CE/FDA certificate and firm has to submit valid supporting documents/certificates. If the condition is not applicable for the subject item, the firm should indicate the same in their offer. The applicability or waival of this conditions is at the discretion of Railways which will be final.

Firms should quote for the Brand and manufacturer's product for which they have approved by PCMD/SCR otherwise, even if the offer of the firm is L1, it will be passed over without any further correspondence.

The purchaser reserved the right to cancel the PO consequent to breach of contract under risk and cost or by levying 5% of PO value for unsupplied portion of Contract as General Damage, or forfeiture of security deposit, asdeemed fit by the purchaser. The General damages can be recovered from any supply bills of the firm in Indian railways, if the firm fails to deposit within stipulated time.

Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

MRP and Brand Name of the offered product must be mentioned in remarks column and scanned copy of package if any indicating the same must be enclosed.

Firm should enclose GSTN registration certificate of the firm on whom the PO is to be placed.

Each packet that contains the product should have a printing/stamping with indelible ink of FOR INDIAN RAILWAY USE ONLY. NOT FOR SALE wherever applicable. Firms are advised to put their Holograms on their product/cartons wherever applicable.

Firm should upload copy of BIS/ISI or CE/FDA certificatesfor quoted offer along with tender without fail, otherwise their offer may be ignored. No further correspondence will be entertained with regard to submission of BIS/ISI or CE/FDA ceritficates.

The tenderers has to clearly mention the NEFT details of their authorized distributor matching with IREPS vendor code on whom the PO has to be placed.
