Cat (A) -Items to be supply and fixing

Cleaning of top surfaces of concrete roof with wire brushing and removing existing damaged old water proofing materials of any including flashing and junction of parapets etc. as per direction of E - I - C.

M & L for dismantling of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and of any position not otherwise specifically provided as per direction of E - I - C. .

Removing demolished material up to a distance of 100Mtr and depositing where directed as per direction of E - I - C.

M & L for P.C.C type-1 graded M20 mixed (1:1 1/2 :3 ) using 12.5 mm graded coarse aggregate as per direction of E - I - C .

M& L for brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0kg of cement per Sq.mt as directed by EIC.

M & L for providing screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick even and smooth surface in cement mortar 1:3 for base water proofing treatment as per direction of E - I - C. .

Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer 3 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non-woven polyester matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/sqm by the same membrane manufacture of density at 25°C, 0.87-0.89 kg/litre and viscosity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane Torch and sealing all joints etc, and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 650/ 450N/5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/ 250N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane. (The test certificate of APP and bitumen primer to be produced separately) APP Membrane of Make/Name of Manufacturer: Super Thermoly of STP Ltd./ MOPLY FP of Texsa India Ltd/IWL India Ltd.

Removal of old existing lighting protection insulator which has been connected with aluminium strip or grouted on the roof of the building . Remounting the above removed insulator ( old shall be reused here ) in P.C.C block of 1:2:4 cement concrete type BO M -15 grade with 12.5mm graded aggregate of size ( 100x100x75) mm and fixing the aluminium strip or insulator by using new G.I nut bolt or washer or screw etc complete in all respect.

S & F of anodised aluminium frame for doors, windows, ventilators with one or more rebates including joining cleat for fixing etc. complete all as specified as per direction of E - I - C.

S & F of Anodised aluminium door shutters aluminium section weighing 0.55 kg( m including necessary joining cleats glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing. handles 2 Nos in each door, hinges anodised aluminium snap beading screws etc. complete alias specified as per direction of E - I - C.

S & F of Anodised aluminium window and ventilator shutters, fixed type without sash bar, aluminium section weighing 0.55 kg( m including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber packing, anodised aluminium snap beading, screws etc. complete all as specified as per direction of E - I - C.

Sheet glass, ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in square n.exc 0.5 sq. m in each pane & thickness of glass is 4.8mm as per direction of E - I - C.

Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc., including cleaning or refixing or removal to Store (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories) as per direction of E - I - C.

Supplying & fixing of 110mm dia rain water PVC (SWR) pipes double socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls as per direction of E - I - C. .

S & F of PVC ( SWR) bends any radius of size 110mm as per direction of E - I - C.

S&F Plain, galvanised, mild steel sheeting, of 1.00mm thick in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed) with grade of zinc coating 275 as per direction of Engg-in-Charge .

Buy-Back (ie minus)The dismantled wrought galvanised, mild steel sheeting is to be credited to the Contractor.
