Supply Installation testin and commissioning Of retrofit emission control device for 100 kVA (80KW) desiel generator of any make/vintage Location : S & D div Zone-V Category Application :- Reduce particulate matter (PM 2.5), Carbon Monoxide and Hydrocarbons emitted from Diesel Engine Technology/Type :- DPF (Diesel Particulate filter), Wet Scrubbing, Diesel Oxides Catalyst or any other. The output result of the RECD should be as per CPCB 2 normal irrespeative of the manufactures techonolgy Guaranteed specified Particulate matter (PM 2.5) Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocarbon reduction efficiency (Min) 70% for all DG sets TEST REPORTS Certification :- Device should be as per the System and Procedure of Central Pollution Control Board for Emission Compliance Testing of Retro-fit Emission Control Devices (RECD) For Diesel Power Generating Set Engines, Dated 01/02/2022, wide Pollution Control Series PCLS/12/2021-22 TESTING:- 1.Adhering to this, RECD to be tested’ for an equivalent kVA family as per the System and Procedure from any one of the five Central Pollution Control Board, Govt, of India, recognized/approved test agencies/laboratories as given below: (a) Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI, Pune) (b) International Centre for Automotive Testing (ICAT, Manesar) (c) Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP, Dehradun) (d) Vehicle Research Development Establishment (VRDE, Ahmednagar) (e) Indian Oil Corporation, Research and developmsnt centre, Faridabad (Haryana) 2. The contractor shall demonstrate compliance of the RECD type or RECD family with the provision of the regulation. Back Pressure due to the Emission Control retrofit device :- RECD shall be have no effect on exhaust back pressure. the back pressure shall be maintained within prescribed limit by the manufacturer. There should not be any back flow from RECD to engine exhaust system. Approval of RECD for family of DG sets should be as per CPCB instructions and the same has to be obtained ferom the CPCB prescribed labs as above. The RECD manufacturer shall furnish written instructions and requirements about use and maintenance of RECD system, its correct operation and maintenace and its emission preformance. General Technical Requirements (GTR) / Commissioning :- a) Emission Control retrofit device shall be complete with safety precautions to ensure no damage should be done to the DG set operations under any circumstances. The Emission Control retrofit device should be closely coupled with the DG exhaust to ensure 100% of the exhaust passes through the Emission Control retrofit device. b) Anti-Vibration mountings shall be provided for complete Emission Control retrofit device in case of flexible coupling with the diesel generator exhaust. c )Emission Control retrofit device should have protection against under voltage, over voltage, under frequency, over frequency, low battery voltage, over current, earth-fault, short circuit, phase sequence change etc. d) The Emission Control retrofit device shall be with corrosion resistive and HR (IP-66)paint. e) For testing fuel to be arranged by the contractor. f) The contractor shall provide the trial run (Testing) of Emission Control retrofit device. The contractor shall conduct trial run of the Emission Control retrofit device with the available electrical load at site. The trial run shall be for TWO hours. The electrical loading shall not be more than the rated capacity of the DG set. g) Exhaust piping, extra civil work/structural work, distribution board shall be provided by the contractor Scope of Installation :- a) Installation of Emission Control Retrofit Device when offered by the vendor is inclusive in the scope of supply and shall be done by the contractor. The installation work of Emission Control Retrofit Device. b) Construction of suitable earthing station and necessary connections shall be done by the contractor. Warranty/Service ;- 12 months Number of preventive maintenance visits in a year during warranty period :- 2 visits (i) Phase I Engine Emission smoke & PM values should not exceed 1.5 times of the CPCB stage-I/ GSR 371 dated 17th Mar 2002 (ii) Phase-II Engine:- Emission smoke & PM values should not exceed 1.25 times of the CPCB stage-II/ GSR 771(E) dated 11th Dec 2013 and its ammended vide GSR 232 (E) dated 31 Mar 2014. Note:- Any structural and civil work as per OEM requirement at site is deemed to be inculded in the quoted rates.
