Removing the existing filter media carefully lifting, conveying without making any damages to the existing structure and stacking the different sizes of sand and gravel separately within a lead of 200M and including tackles, all labour charges, hire for tools, scaffolding charges, all safety precautions etc., complete.

Gravel

Sieving after washing removal of dirt drying perfectly and separating coarse gravel of 15mm x6mm, 35mm x 15 and 50 x 35mm and again washing and cleaning them and separately stacking for reuse, including hire for tools, plants, all labour chrges, all safety precautions etc., complete.

Supplying, cleaning filter media of approved quality and sizes, hard and clean, free from clay, dust and other impurities, stacking the same near the Water Treatment Plants and sieve test report shall be produced for each materials,including cost of all materials, labour charges, conveyance charges, all safety precautions etc., complete.

Fine sand 0.60mm

Fine gravel 10mm x 3mm

Medium gravel 15mm x 6mm

Coarse gravel 35mm x 15mm size

Very coarse (rounded pebbles) 50mm x 35mm

Washing and cleaning thoroughly the inside of filter shell with wire brush or coir brush, suitable scrubbers and water, including all labour charges, hire for tools, including suitable scrubbers, scaffolding charges, all safety precautions etc., complete.

Chipping and removing all loose/damaged portions of cement plastering/ concrete surfaces, washing thoroughly with water and re-plastering with cement mortar 1:4, 12mm thick with a neat cement flushing coat, including cost of all materials, labour charges, hire for tools and scaffolding, curing etc., complete. (Required cement will be issued free of cost bt TCC)

Chipping and taking out carefully if necessary the loose ends of perforated PVC pipes without damaging the pipe manifolds and resetting the pipe in hemp and cement slurry and positioning to a water tight joint, including cost of all materials and labour charges, hire for tools etc. complete.

Caulking using hemp and cement slurry the gaps between manifolds and filter shell wall, including cost of all materials, labour charges, hire for tools, all safety precautions etc., complete as directed

Conveying filter media and carefully lowering, placing and hand packing, levelling and filling in filter shell layer by layer, including all labour charges, hire for tools, tackles, all safety precautions etc., complete.

1st layer very coarse gravel (rounded pebbles) 50 x 35mm sizes to a thickness of 150mm

2nd layer coarse gravel 35 x 15mm size to a thickness of 100mm

3rd layer medium gravel 15 x 6mm to a thickness of 100mm

4th layer fine gravel 10 x 3mm to a thickness of 100mm

5th layer 0.6mm effective size to a thickness of 700mm

Chipping and removing all loose concrete lumps from over the manifolds lifting, conveying and depositing in areas within 200mm including all labour charges, hire for tools, tackles, all safety precautions etc., complet etc., complete.

Cement concrete 1:11/2:3 with best 18mm blue granite aggregate with or without reinforcement for fixing manifolds, fixing perforated pipe work including all labour charges, material cost, hire for tools, tackles, all safety precautions etc., complete. (Requried Reinforcement rods and cement will be supplied by TCC free of cost).

Painting one coat of prime seal of water proof paint of Dr. Fixit solution after cleaning the surface thoroughly all staging work, all safety precautions, etc. including all labour charges, hire for tools , and all other incidental expences etc. complete.(Required paint will be supply by TCC)

Painting one or more coat of rain coat water proof paint of Dr. Fixit solution after cleaning the surface thoroughly including all labour charges, hire for tools, tackles, all safety precautions and all other incidental expences etc. complete.(Required paint will be supply by TCC)
