Provision of services for operation of filtration plant [Vertical pressure sand filters] of capacity 60 Cu.m/ hour in General shift on all days including Sundays & Holidays consisting of pump house room, machines, control panels etc. at NSTL technical area including daily maintenance of log book/ log sheets for plants, replacement of worn out minor spares with new such as gland packings to pump motor sets and various valves, control panel fuses, sluice valve stuffing box nut bolts of required sizes, gaskets for various valves complete including opening/ closing of water supply valves located in NSTL Technical area all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Minimum manpower to be engaged: One Skilled FGM in General shift of 08 hours per day on all days excluding Sundays & Public Holidays.

M&L for disconnecting mono-block pump set of 7.5 HP capacity and taking out existing old motor and taking to the workshop for repair and opening the stator of the motor, cleaning the stator with CTC, preparing the surface and filling the slot with suitable insulating material like paper, fibre sleeves, tapes, varnishing, heating and replacing motor terminal block and shaft bearings complete, testing and reassembling after repairs to the motor and replacing of the corroded nuts and bolts of the pump sets / mechanical glands arresting the leakages for satisfactory performance of motors complete and applying a coat of synthetic enamel paint over all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for removing of unserviceable foot valve and S&F 150mm dia CI flanged type foot valve heavy duty ISI marked fixed with rubber gasket, nuts, bolts, washers etc. complete all as directed. (Make: Kirloskar/ Audco/ Advance)

M&L for removing inspection cover of 150mm dia NRV, draining out the water complete from the chamber with external pump and replacement of the flap cover gasket, corroded nuts and bolts, by pass line of size 15/20mm GI pipe with gate valve complete fixing and testing all as specified and as directed.

M&L for removing spindle and casing of 150mm dia sluice valve, draining out the water complete from the chamber with external pump and replacement of cover gasket, spindle cotton tape/ gland packing along with corroded nuts and bots complete fixing and testing all as specified and as directed.

M&L for carrying out repairs to existing sluice valve chamber of inner size up to and including 0.9m x 0.9m.complete by removing small plants, bushes from inside/out side the valve chambers, cleaning internal/ external wall surfaces, refixing loose valve chamber cover frame by grouting, plastering internal / external walls with cement mortar 1:3 including filling up damaged portion with fly ash brick masonry in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as directed.

S&F in repairs Fully Automatic Star Delta Starter suitable for 7.5 HP Mono-block pump set, Type MK 1 FASD of L&T make complete fixing and testing all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs 3 pole contactors AC operated rating at 415 Volts, AC1 45 Amps rating with 2NO + 2NC auxiliary contacts with operatabe coil voltage 24 volts to 415 volts AC/ DC with front/ side mounted Add On blocks as per site requirement. Excavating in trenches n. exc. 1.5m wide and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc. n. exc. 10sq.m. on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/ dense soil.

Returning, filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm in any type of soil.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50m above the starting point.

M&L for hose box of size 800mm x 600mmx250mm, made of 18 gauge MS sheet with double door with 4 mm thick glass and door frame made of 16 gauge MS sheet painted with synthetic enamel paint of fire red colour on outside and brilliant white colour inside complete including taking down existing unserviceable box all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of fire red colour over a coat of red oxide primer on external surfaces of single/ double headed fire hydrant including scraping existing treatment complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of fire red colour on outside and brilliant white colour inside to the fire hose box complete including scraping existing treatment complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking up MS ERW pipes 100/150mm dia bore including connections from any location/ position complete all as directed

Supply, laying, jointing testing and commissioning 150mm bore dia MS ERW electric resistance welded plain end heavy duty pipe, manufactured as per IS-1239, 1990 along with all fittings/specials such as bends, tees, collars, reducers etc. including welding the joints, complete laid in trenches/ on floor/ wall including wrapping and coating all as specified.

Demolition of existing damaged valve chamber and re-construction of Valve chamber of size 110cm x110cm x 90cm (internal dimensions), with 230mm thick fly ash brickwork construction in CM 1:4, including all necessary excavation and earth work in hard/ dense soil, returning, filling in, disposal of surplus spoil to a distance n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed, 100mm thick PCC foundation 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed aggregate), rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 internally finished even and fair and pointing flush externally as the work proceeds in the same mortar, mild steel manhole cover frame with MS sheet cover 3mm thick with handle and locking arrangement, painting all the exposed M.S work with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and painting all the M.S embedded in PCC with two coats of black bituminous paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
