AMC for Maintaining of Operational and Non-operational Area by Grass Cutting and Drain Cleaning at Chandigarh International Airport, Mohali side for period of 01 year (2022-23).

Maintenance of Airport Operational Area by Cutting & Clearing grass, bushes, vegetation, wild growth etc., by cutting completely near to ground level, cleaning and disposal of rubbish upto dedicated area inside the airport premises complete as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The main purpose of this work is execution of above said work in operational, area and along periphery road. A pictograph showing tentative area of grass to be cut in operational area is attached at Page-PIC-1. 1.The grass cutting work include cutting of grass mechanically/manually and maintaining vegetation growth near to ground level. The maximum permissible height of cutted grass in operational area be 150 mm (6 inch). 2.All cut grass will be the property of CHIAL and to be dumped within the airport premises at dedicated location defined by Engineer-in-charge. No extra cost will be paid for dumping of grass at dedicated location defined as above. 3.All machinery, tools & tackles including Ripper, Machine Cutter, Tractor, Trolley, JCB, Grader, Manpower, Fuel for machines, maintenance of machines required for execution of work are in the scope of agency. Agency should quoted their rates accordingly and no extra payment will be made on any account. 4.Agency may be allowed to inspect the site before quoting their rates. Approx. Area of grass cutting (subjected to max. ± 5 % variation): Operational Area = 280000 sqm. Inspection & Payment of work: Please refer s.no.9 at Pg-SW-2 of NIT. Note: 1.Before start of work, area shall be jointly measured with the agency. After joint measurement, final area shall be considered for payment. If area is within ±5% variation limit as mentioned above, then there will be no change in area considered for the payment. If the area is vary from 5%, then extra/deduction shall be made on prorata basis beyond 5% variation limit. 2.The unit of measurement for this work shall be on yearly basis i.e. agency should quote their rate considering unit as per year. However, payment will be made to agency per quarter (3 months) on prorate of the rates quoted per year.

Maintenance of Airport Operational Area Drains by cleaning and maintaining of storm water drains i/c removal of malba/silt as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The main purpose of this item is drain cleaning & maintaining in operational area. A pictograph showing tentative location of storm water drain in operational area is attached at Page-PIC-2. The drain cleaning work include proper cleaning of drains either mechanically or manually. No soil accumulation at the bottom of drain should be allowed. While cleaning, the entire debris, waste material, to be collected and disposed off at dedicated location defined by EIC. No extra payment will be made on any account except quoted rates. Agency may be allowed to inspect the site before quoting their rates. Approx. Length of drain cleaning (subjected to max. ± 5 % variation): a. Operational Area = 2250 mtr. Inspection & Payment of work: Please refer s.no.9 at Pg-SW-2 of NIT. Note: 1. Before start of work, length of drain shall be jointly measured with the agency. After joint measurement, final length shall be considered for payment. If length is within ±5% variation, then there will be no change in the payment.
