REPAIR/MAINT OF DISTRIBUTION PIPE LINE VALVES, REPAIR TO VALVE PITS AT SHIKARGARH AND OTHER AREA UNDER GE (ARMY) UTILITY JODHPUR

Excavation trenches for soft/loose soil, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for removing old unserviceable iron pipe and laying of new DI pipe.

Returning, filling in any type of soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50M where directed and at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point.

M & L for taking out unserviceable cast iron C.I. / MS / D.I. water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints of any size all as specified and dirercted by Engr-in-Charge of following sizes :- (a) 100 mm bore.

(b) 150 mm bore.

(c) 250 mm bore.

(d) 300 mm bore.

Supply and lay DI pipe centrifugally cast of class K-7 with spigot and socket ends suitable for tyton joints including rubber gasket for the following sizes :- (a) 100 mm bore.

(b) 150 mm bore.

(c) 250 mm bore.

(d) 300 mm bore.

Material and labour for fixing DI specials such as bends(any type, radius and angle),tappers any type, (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) tee pieces single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps & plugs of sizes :- (a) Upto 150 mm bore.

(b) Above 150 mm bore upto 300mm bore.

Supply and Fixing for DI sluice valve PN 1.6 incl new rubber gasket, nuts and bolts etc and dismentling of existing unserviceable one of folowing sizes:- (a) 100 mm bore.

(b) 150 mm bore.

(c) 300 mm bore.

Taking out steel tubing alongwith fittings such as tee, bends etc and connections incl removal from site of the following sizes:- (a) 50mm bore.

(b) 80 mm bore.

M&L galvanised iron pipe medium grade (ISI marked) 50mm dia with and including medium grade (ISI Marked) fitting concealed or fixed to walls, celling or laid in floors including chase cuttings, making good to distributed surfaces as per existing as directed and specified.

Supply and fixing of galvanised iron pipe medium grade (ISI marked) with and including medium grade (ISI Marked) fittings laid in trenches jointed and tested complete all as specified and directed for the following bores :- (a) 50mm bore.

(b) 80mm bore.

Supply and fix gun metal gate valve 50 mm with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed incl taking down and removal from site.

Dismantling of stone massonary valve chamber of any size and pattern and at any position and construction of valve chamber with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate stone massonary built in cement mortar 1:6 with plastering of 10mm thickness internally and 15mm thickness externally above and below ground level with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate incl frame made of angles iron of size matches with the internal size of the valve chamber and chamber cover made of solid PVC of superior quality and painting the steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer incl necessary earth work, excavation etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge of the following sizes :- (a) 1200 x 1000 x 1050mm

(b) 900 x 600 x 1000mm

(c) 450 x 450 x 600mm

Material and labour for cutting of existing pipe GI / DI of size 50mm to 200mm dia and insertion of Tee of suitable size as required complete with all fittings all as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site. Note :- (i) DI Tee will be measured and paid seperately against DI fittings. (ii) Cost of GI Tee required for connection shall deemed to be included in quoted rates.

M & L for motorized auguring / drilling under the road at maximum 1 meter depth of dia max suitable to pass the pipe upto 300mm dia, all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks 1:2:4 Type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone), exc. 10 cm in width, set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F 5 layers PVC water storage tank sqaure in shape hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part 1 of capacity 5000 Ltrs.

S&F 5 layers PVC water storage tank square in shape hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part 1 of capacity 500 Ltrs.

Supply and Fixing in repair for D.I. non return valve of size 250mm bore, incl new rubber gasket, nuts and bolts etc and dismantling of existing unserviceable one. Make : Kirloskar/Upadhyay/Kejriwal

S&F DI double orifice air release valve of size 80mm dia bore and fixing up in cast iron/ DI water supply mains of size 300/350 mm dia with complete fixing arrangement including insertion of Tee complete with all fittings, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
