SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (Phase-I)
CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING WORKS INCLUDING DESIGN, SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING & COMMISSIONING (INCLUDING PHASE-I & PHASE-II PERFORMANCE TESTS):
Design, Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of scroll type Chiller Central Air Conditioning plant, water cooled with single/multi compressor, comprising of Hermetically sealed compressors, Flooded type Evaporator, Shell and tube Condenser, suitable expansion device, suitable for operation on and nominal capacity of minimum 2x40 TR comprising of the following :
(A) CHILLER PACKAGE UNIT: Micro processor controlled scroll chiller unit complete, factory assembled, factory tested, of minimum 2X40 TR Nos, minimum 80 TR nominal cooling capacity working on latest eco friendly (with no greenhouse effect) refrigerant (Green gas) comprising of scroll compressors operated with green gas suitable for 415V, 50 HZ, 3 phase, piping controls & accessories, starter & mocroprocessor control panel, refrigerant, oil charged mounted on common base frame with anti vibration pads complete as per manufacturer's specifications as recommended by OEM: 02 Nos. (i) Efficiency of scroll type chiller package shall comply with latest ECBC norms. (ii) The contractor shall submit catalogue indicating model No of unit offered and test certificate indicating power consumption at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% load for approval of GE before placing the final order. Power consumption at part load shall also be as per ECBC norms. (iii) The scroll type chillers shall be accepted by GE based on est certificates. RCC foundation as per manufacturers strandards shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted.
(B) CONDENSER WATER CIRCULATION SYSTEM: Comprising of the following:- (i) FRP induced draft cooling tower 01 No. as recommended by OEM of not less than 125% capacity of the plants (working capacity minimum 120 TR) complete with spray section, honey comb fill, basin, CT fan, TEFC Motor, intake bird screen and other accessories with out cut off arrangements at the time of low ambient conditions (Technical Specifications as per the manufacturer or OEM Recommendations) - 01 Job. (iii) HDPE/PVC make up water tank of adequate capacity but not less than 5000 liters (02 Nos) installed on PCC/brick staging up to height as per manufacturer specifications for make up water requirement including brass float valve with polyethylene ball, over flow and drain arrangement, incoming connection of suitable bore GI Pipe medium grade from tank to tapping point including necessary cutting of existing pipe line and tapping of branch connections with GI pipe of suitable bore medium grade all as directed (The item reate is inclusive of provisioning all connected inlet pipe lines from existing sources and all outlet pipes - 01 Job. (iv) Energy efficient mono block type 3 phase electric driven pump sets of adequate capacity working on 415V AC for re-circulation of condenser water of 50% plant capacity - 02 Nos (02 No working) & FASD starter for re-circulation of condenser water with ribbed rubber vibration isolation pads two nos mounted on ISMC frame (painted with anti corrosive primer& paint) on PCC foundation complete all as specified or as recommended by OEM -01 Job. (v) Condenser water piping of MS class 'B' medium grade (ISI marked), pipe and fitting of suitable size connected/jointed by electric arc continuous welding including two coats of anti corrosive paint over a coat of primer for interconnecting the cooling tower with condensers and pump, make up water tank, drain pipe, completer with Y strainer, NRV, pressure gauges and butterfly valves and PCC brickwork supports of required at site for laying of pipe lines - 01 Job. (vi) Non-chemical type on-line scale preventer of required size as per the capacity of the condenser water pumping system including piping and control valve.
(a) Compressors : Semi hermetic scroll compressors with minimum loading capacity 25%, operatin voltage 360-440 Volts, 50 Hz, 3 Phase AC supply and workingwith refrigerant R-410 A/R - 407C/ R- 134A. (b) Condenser Section : Shell and Tube type condenser internally knurled copper tubes. (c) Expansion Valve : Electronic expansion valve should be capable enough to operate on winder temperature range with energy efficient improvement at part load conditons, as per manufacturer's specificaitons. (d) Evaporator : Flooded type evaporator all as per manufacturer's specificaitons. (e) Safety Protection : Safety protection on low coolingtemperature, low oil pressure, high refrigerant pressure, electric leak, compressor overload, high/low voltage and single phasing shall be provided. Automatic control of refrigerant condition and compressor ON/OFF status and loading sequence system shall be provided. (f) Refrigerant : HFC -134A/ HFC-410A/ HFC-407C of zero ozone depletion potential refrigeration circuits of total capacity as per manufacturer's specificaitons. (g) Control : Micro Processor control with LCD interface capable of monitoring all machine operating parameters like suciton/ discharge pressure Oil pressure, compreessor operation hours set point air temperature, entering/leaving waer temperature etc competer and precisely manages the operation of compressors, expansion devices, fans and of the evaporator/ chiller water pump for optimum energy efficiency as per manufacturers specifications.
(C) CHILLED WATER CIRCULATION SYSTEM Comprising of the following:- (i) Inlet and out let connections for chiller unit - 02 Nos. (ii) Energy efficient mono block type 3 phase electric driven pump sets working of adequated capacity on 415V AC for re-circulation of chilled waer of 50% plant capacity 02 Nos (02 Nos working ) including 100mm dia pressure gauge on delivery side of pumps including rubber vibration isolation pads mouted on ISMC frame (painted with anti corrosive primer & paint) on PCC foudation including all connections cimplete all as specifed. 01 Job (iii) Chilled water piping with MS Medium Grade ERW pipe of suitable diameter including all wieldable fittings, butterfly valves NRVs & 'Y' straineers for interconnection between water chiller, chilled water pumps with AHUs and cooling coul units. Chilled water piping shall be insulated with 75 mm htick EPS pipe section TF quality cladded with Aluminium sheet SWG including water flow switch and electrically operated modulatin / Three way mixing valve of required size with actuator & modulating thermostat contrrol for each AHU -1 No. (iv) PVC/ HDPE expansion tank of capacity not less than as recommended by OEM including insulation with 75mm thick fibre glass/thermo coal/ density of 24 kg/cum finished with cement plaster including civil works and painting with 3 coats of cement based paint and GI medium grade piping connections and necessary piping control valves on inlet, outlet and and wash out, float valve etc-01 Job.
(D) AIR TREATMENT SYSTEM: Comprising of the following:- (i) Double skin construction air handling unit suitable for chilled water system made out of extruded aluminium structural frame/ aluminium corners and intermediate connecting pieces and panes of galvanised steel sheet of appropriate thickness as recommended by OEM on both sides with 43mm thick pressure injected PUF of appropriate density using CFC free blowing agent, the panels having scratch free plastisol coating on outer side. The fan section should be mounted on anti vibration spring isolators and free from main structure. The fan should be back ward curved centrifugal fan with air discharge up blast, belt driven with TEFC induction motor of suitable capacity. The coil section consist of 6 row deep coil with min 12 fins/inch duly coated. The filter section consist of prefilter with 5 micron 90% efficiency. The other accessories are view port, limit switch, stainless steel (SS3) drain pan, volume control damper with Energy Efficient Motor (EE Series) of suitable cpacity and specified makes, AHU shall be provided wiht UVC emitters & fixtures in sufficient quantity so as to provide equal distribution of UVC energy on the coil and in the drain pan all as specified or as recommended by OEM. (ii) Dehumidification achieved by providing heatin by hot water coills with necessary copper conductor wiring complete of required capacity. (iii) Pan type humidifier comprisingof stainless steel tank and pan necessary heater, wiring, water piping GI pipe medium grade 15mm bore including float valve and brass stop cock in inlet pipe. The make of GI pipe will be approved by GE. (iv) Humidistats and Thermostats are to be provided in AHU room (v) Three way mixing valve of required size with motorised actuator and modulating thermostat control for AHU. (vi) Accoustic Insulation with 25mm thick fibre glass rigid boards and finished with RP tissue paper and 28mm gauge aluminium perforated sheet upto 5 mt from outlet of the air plenum including air plenum for all AHUs all as specified and directed. (vii) Under deck insulation for AHU rooms shall be provided with fire retardant XPE closed cell of appropriate thickness as recommended by OEM metalised polyester film and self adhesive backings with protection peel off paper. (viii) Fresh air damper with GI bowl/ fittings anf mosquito proof netting shall be provided for AHU. (ix) Thermal insulation of supply air ducting for indoor with 13 mm thick closed cell elastrometric Nitrile rubber all as per standard specifications as per approved drawings.
(E) AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM : Comprising of the following:- (i) Supply and return air ducting made out of commercial grade GI sheet Zinc coating 120 grade, IS : 277 and factory fabricated as per SMACNA- 1995 standards and as per IS-655, required portion of duct shaal be acoustically insulated with standard size of AC sheets, insulated with 25mm thick resin bonded fibre glass wool of density 24 kg/ cum covered with factory laminated aluminium foil fixed with adhesive tape & finally cladded with 26 SWG aluminium sheet & suppoeted by internal channel & clamping, wherever the ducting passes through un-conditioned space shall be insulated with 75 mm thick resin bonded fibre glass wool of density 24 kg/ cum and covered with GI chickn wire mesh and cladded with aluminium foil fixed with adhesive tape and finally cladded with 26 SWG aluminium sheet & supported by internal channel & clamping, wherever the ducting is exposed to sky shall be insulated with 75 mm thick resin bonded fibre glas wool of density 24kg/cum covered with polythene sheet faced hessian cloth, GI chicken wire mesh and cladded with sand cement plaster and supported by MS channel & clamps complete in all respect. Make : Sail/ Tata /Jindal. (ii) Aluminium powder coated double deflection adjustable type supply air grills/diffusers with MS volume control dampers and Aluminium powder coated fixed bar type return air grilles/diffusers without volume control damper, for return air -1 Job. (iii) Fire dampers automatic type UL stamped fusible plug (CIMFR Certified) and operated with stainless steel spring made out of 16 SWG GI sheet and limit switch to be provided in each main supply air duct near plenum in AHU room for each AHU and interlocked with AHU motor to cut off circulation of air in case of fire. 01-Job
SCHEDULE 'A' PART-II (Phase-II) (Outsourcing of Services for Operation of Central AC Plant for one year after successful completion of work under Phase-II tests of AC plant i.e. during the First Year of Defects Liability Period of the work under Phase - I):
Outsourcing of Services for operation of central AC plant of 2X40 TR, water cooled as provided under this contract as per BOQ for the first year after successful completion of phase-II testing i.e. first year during defect liability period complete including cooling tower, AHUs, electrical control panels and pumps and connected equipment in complete AC system, in 2 shifts of 08 hours each to ensure smooth and trouble free operation of plants to the entire satisfaction of users/department by providing services of one skilled technician of AC & Refrigeration (ITI Qualifited with 2 to 3 years relevant experience) in each shift of 08 hours complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
SCHEDULE 'A' PART-III (Phase-III) (Outsourcing of Services for Operation of Central AC Plant for one year after successful completion of the work under Phase-II i.e. during the Second Year of Defects Liability Period):
Outsourcing of Services for operation of central AC plant of 2X40 TR, water cooled as provided under this contract as per BOQ for the first year after successful completion of phase-II testing i.e. second year during defect liability period complete including cooling tower, AHUs, electrical control panels and pumps and connected equipment in complete AC system, in 2 shifts of 08 hours each to ensure smooth and trouble free operation of plants to the entire satisfaction of users/department by providing services of one skilled technician of AC & Refrigeration (ITI Qualifited with 2 to 3 years relevant experience) in each shift of 08 hours complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
SCHEDULE 'A' PART-IV (Phase-IV) (Outsourcing of Services for Operation of Central AC Plant and Comprehensive Maintenance of Central AC Plant for one year after successful completion of the work under Phase-III i.e. for one year after successful completion of Defects Liability Period of the work):
Outsourcing of Services for operation of central AC plant of 2X40 TR, water cooled as provided under this contract as per BOQ for the first year after successful completion of phase-II testing i.e. first year after completion of defect liability period complete including cooling tower, AHUs, electrical control panels and pumps and connected equipment in complete AC system, in 2 shifts of 08 hours each to ensure smooth and trouble free operation of plants to the entire satisfaction of users/department by providing services of one skilled technician of AC & Refrigeration (ITI Qualifited with 2 to 3 years relevant experience) in each shift of 08 hours complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Comprehensive maintenance of central AC plant of 2X40 TR, water cooled as provided under this contract as per BOQ for the first year after successful completion of phase-II testing i.e. first year after completion of defect liability period complete including cooling tower, AHUs, electrical control panels and pumps and connected equipment in complete AC system, in 2 shifts of 08 hours each to ensure smooth and trouble free operation of plants to the entire satisfaction of users/department complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
