Site Preparation, Temporary Latrine, Placement & levelling of Rig Machine, Mast hoisting and Casing drilling (Upto 6 mtr.) Placement of Casing with all allied works necessary to commence drilling woks and wind up of all machineries after completion of Drilling.
Drilling by Reverse Rotary method of drilling using 9 7/8” dia. bit for pilot bore follwed by subsequently reaming using 12 1/4” dia. , 15 " dia. and 17.5" dia. Rock Roller Bits/ Drag Bits in consolidated, semi consolidated and soft formation up to required depth including casing boring and casing lowering as required including cost of fuels and lubricants etc. as required for drilling. Note: 1)Rate only for pilot drilling will be @ 50%. of item rate. 2)Rate for reaming by 12 1/4 " dia. bit will be @ 14% of item rate. 3)Rate for reaming by 15 " dia. bit will be @ 16% of item rate. 4)Rate for reaming by 17.5 " dia. bit will be @ 20% of item rate.
Note:1)Rate only for pilot drilling will be @ 50%. of item rate.

Packing the annular space between the outside of the housing pipe & the bore with puddle clay balls of approval size as per direction of the EIC with cost of all materials & labour complete. 0.785x(0.550^2-0.310^2)x6.00=0.97 m3
Development (Min. 8 Hr. continuous) of tube well by using suitable air compressor (Min. Capacity: 600CFM & operating Pressure 14 Bar) followed by yield testing with BHT pump (Head :45 to 50mtr.,Discharge :1100 to 1000 LPM and 25 BHP engine) all complete including To & Fro Transportation cost and Cost of fuels, lubricants & Labour etc..
Water sample collection and chemical test including Arsenic Test.

Cost of Consumables for drilling rigs and machineries.

Socket & Spigot Ends D.I.Pipes (Class K-7) conforming to I.S.8329/2000 with inside cement mortar lining & outside zinc & bitumen coating. (a) 150 mm dia
Excavation of trial pit (3 M x 1 M, Depth upto 3M) for fixing of pumping main, washout lines etc., taking every precaution against damage of SW pipe line, electrical cables, gas main, sewer line, telephone cables etc. as under ground obstruction including 3.75 mm thick timber shoring, earth cutting, dewatering, barricading and again back filling etc. as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
Dismantling of cement concrete pavements by mechanical means using pneumatic tools breaking to pieces not exceeding 0.02 cum in volume and stock piling at designated locations and disposal of dismantled materials upto a lead of 1000 m, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately as per Technical pecification Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD.
Earth work in excavation in trenches & pits for water supply line and appurtenant structures in all sorts of soils or loose materials (excluding laterite or sand stone) including removing spreading or stracking the spoils within a lead of 75m including bailing out water due to seepage complete as per instruction of the Engineer - in - Charge. (Use of buckets for removal if necessary shall be within the rates). as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailling out water as required.

Dewatering by pupms including all leads, lifts and making all arrangements of disposal, where continuous flow of water from a source other than natural or ground water is encountered in case of emergency maintenance works related to leakage, breakage and making wet connections.
Supplying, fitting and fixing of C.I. Mechanical flexible Flange Socket Tailpiece suitable for making flanged connection with the plain barrel of C.I. Spun Pipes (as per IS : 1536) and D.I. Pipes (as per IS : 8329). The Tailpieces to be supplied complete with Sealing Rubber Gasket of EPDM quality (IS:5382/1985 Type-4), Cast Iron Follower Glands and Mild Steel Nut Bolts (Zinc Coated). The whole assembly should be mechanically and hydraulically tested to the provisions as laid down in IS: 1538. Fitting and fixing should be in proper position with proper care of main pipe line for leak proof condition.

Ductile iron double flanged manually operated sluice valve generally conforming to IS : 14846, having body, door, dome, gland in graded ductile iron to IS 1865, four faces and spindle nut of gun metal to IS : 318, inside screw non- rising stainless steel AISI-410 spindle valves suitable for maximum working pressure of 10/16 kg/cm² and body tested 15/24 kg/cm². Flanges drilled to IS: 1538 table 4 & 6. Valves tested by closed end method only. 350mm and above valves are complete with enclosed gear box with anti friction device.
