Eligibility Criteria

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

E.M.D shall be paid at the time of uploading of Tender itself. Micro and small enterprises registered with NSIC under single point vender registration are exempted from Paying EMD

The Prices quoted are to be kept valid for 120 Days from the date of opening of price bid for placement of order

Payment terms. To agree for 60 days from the date of receipt and acceptance of the material. However, if there is delay in obtaining payments from ESCOMs, no interest is payable on delayed period and Delivery should not be linked to payment

The Bidder shall be ready to provide Transport vehicle, whenever the Marketing Division, KAVIKA intimates to provide the same. The vehicles shall be provided

The Bidder shall accept to submit the copy of all documents pertaining to the transportation vehicle provided, like RC, Permit, Tax paid, Insurance and Driving License of the Driver to Marketing Department, KAVIKA.

Loading and Unloading of the consignment/s is the responsibility of the Carriers at their own risk and cost. Anyhow, necessary facilities like crane will be provided for loading of materials at KAVIKA. But, KAVIKA will not take any responsibility about unloading of materials at the destinations.

All other terms and conditions as per tender documents

The rates offered/accepted are variable depending upon the variation in the price of diesel as per the formula given in the tender in General Instructions.

It is the entire responsibility of the transport contractor to transport and deliver the transformer to specified destinations in good conditions without any transshipment, en-route, damages/shortages/loss of the consignment. Carrying of any foreign materials of any nature along with the transformers are strictly prohibited

RISK SERVICE CLAUSE: In the event of not providing lorry in time for transportation of transformers indented by our official of the Marketing department over telephone, an alternate arrangement would be made by KAVIKA to get the vehicle from the open market for dispatch of transformers and the actual differential excess amount incurred i.e. over and above the freight charges admissible as per the contract and other miscellaneous expenditure incurred if any will be recovered out of your pending bills and also reserves the right to blacklist your firm, forfeiting the EMD & Security Deposit paid by you.

The company should quote rate per km inclusive of unloading, toll fees ad other taxes and duties in each slab of km to be accepted

The rates to be offered per load for full truck load basis of 9MT in respective km range as indicated in part-III o be accepted

The rates are to be offered per Kilometer basis for Full Truck load basis of 9 MT in respective Kilometer ranges as indicated in Part-III. The Company will endeavor to give full truckloads as far as possible to a given destination but the same cannot be guaranteed

Performance certificates issued from any of the Power Utility of State and Central Government Transformer Manufacturers Or any public and private sector units are to be uploaded

Satisfactory Performance Certificate

The tenderer should not be in Blacklist or Defaulter in any department of the Government of INDIA/Karnataka/ESCOMS. Self-Declaration copy duly signed has to be Uploaded
