REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF LT EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION, LT UG CABLE AND ALLIED WORKS IN EAST AREA UNDER GE (WEST) BAREILLY.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50 m wide and not exc. 1.50 m in depth for laying cables and getting out in soft / loose soil including trimming sides and forming bottom surface to the required level / slope etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm in each layer as in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for sand cushioning with layer of sand 8 cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm after laying of cable in trenches, punning complete all as specified and directed. NOTE- Punned thickness of 18 cm shall be considered for measurement and payment.

M & L for laying brick as in protection covers over cables using sub class 'B' old size bricks laid flat, length wise perpendicular to the axis of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Laying only old serviceable bricks obtained from taking out old cables complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of 1100 volts grade LT XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor laid in trenches / ducts, fixed to wall / inside panel, drawn through pipe with and including taking up old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes: -

(a) 10 Sqmm 2 core.

(b) 10 Sqmm 4 core.

(c) 16 Sqmm 2 core.

(d) 16 Sqmm 4 core.

(e) 25 Sqmm 4 core.

(f) 50 Sqmm 3.5 core.

(g) 95 Sqmm 3.5 core.

(h) 120 Sqmm 3.5 core.

(j) 185 Sqmm 3.5 core.

(k) 240 Sqmm 3.5 core.

Taking out old existing LT cable any size and Relaying the same after necessary testing including necessary cable glands lugs as required complete all as specified and directed. Note:- All relevent items like excavation, earth work, sand cushionning, bricks etc shall be measured and paid seperatly under respective items of this schedule.

M&L for Straight through joints heat shrinkble type 1.1 KV suitable for PVC insulated and sheathed aluminium conductor under ground cable of size 25 to 50 Sqmm 3.5 / 4 core including testing of joints after completion complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 9.00 here-in-before but suitable for cable size of 120 Sqmm to 185 Sqmm, 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 9.00 here-in-before but suitable for cable size of 240 Sqmm, 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Cutting of floor/wall/road/footpath for removal of LT U/G cable of any size/description and making good the same as per existing specifications after relaying of cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Boring of holes under road /pavement/hard standing or any other situation by mannual means for 80/50 mm bore at the depth not less than 1 mtr below ground level for crossing the cable and making good both the ends complete all as specified and directed. Note :- GI pipe shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule.

S & F in replacement 50mm bore GI pipe light grade for cable protection, fixed to pole/ alongwall/ floor/ under road/ across the drain or nallaha etc complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No 12.00 here-in- before but 80 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

M & L fabrication of MS busbar chamber of nominal dimension 900 mm x 600 mm x 400 mm with 2 mm thick sheet duly provided with aluminimum busbar of size 50 mm x 6mm fixed on porcelain insulators TPN type out door weather/vermin proof with both way opening duly provided with neoprene rubber gasket along the doors openings pedestal type duly painted powder coated on CRCA steel sheet encloser with one No incommer MCCB 250 Amp 36 KA incl making connection /thimbles complete all as sepcified and directed.

S & F as in replacement stay assembly comprising GI stay bow 400 X 20 mm, GI steel stay rod 1800 mm long X 20 mm dia with nut-bolts, washers, GI steel plate 300 X 300 X 6 mm complete as shown in electric plate No. 1 of MES Schedule Part-I, 2009, (Specifications) with and including 7X3.15 mm size stay wire of suitable length and one No. 90 X 140 mm size loop insulator complete all as specified and directed. NOTE- Cost of stay clamp, earthwork and concrete work shall deemed included in quoted rate of this item.

Dismantling of LT PCC, steel tubular pole including demolition of pole coping, foundation etc. and keeping serviceable insulators in safe custody for reuse if any complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and erection, in truly vertical position, LT Steel tublar swaged pole complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolt , nut and screwed type 410-SP -31 (9 meters long ) Class -10 including painting of poles with two coats of synthatic enamel paint in black and white strips upto 1.5 mtr height from coping over a coat of red oxide primer including numbering of poles as directed. NOTE- PCC, Earth work and MS work as cross arms clamps etc. shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L for PCC type B1 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded aggregate) as in coping to the poles with and including necessary form work as required complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using (40 mm graded aggregate) in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for as in replacement cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates, fabricated from structural steel sections including nut-bolts and washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed with and including applying two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

S & F as in replacement pin type insulator, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 100 mm high and 65 mm dia suitable for 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

S & F as in replacement for providing aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) as in overhead conductor on electric poles with and including provision of aluminium binding wire 2 mm dia as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised iron steel earth plate of size 600 x 600 x 3.15 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level connected to thick electrode and 32x6 mm GI strip as earthing by means of nuts bolts check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earth wire protected by galvanised iron pipe 15 mm bore (medium grade) and connected to main switch board or main control board as directed and including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 precast RCC cover slab 54 x 54 cm x 5 cm with reinforcement with 8 mm TMT bars @ 150 C/C with one handle and funnel for watering charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers & necessary earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as shwon in electrical plate No 5 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of LT steel tubular pole and painting with one coat of aluminium paint including channels, brackets, street light brackets, cross arms and making Black, Red, Yellow and white strips as directed of 30 cm high with synthetic enamelled paint, each alternative strip upto 1.5 metre height of pole and writing pole number with yellow synthetic enamel paint after making circular base with black synthetic enamel paint and applying two coat of white wash on exposed PCC coping complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of bushes and cleaning the area around the sub station including two pole/four pole structures premises complete all as specified and directed.

S & F PVC (moulded polypropylene) line phase separator (for separating 5 Nos. of over head line conductors) of suitable length with 25 mm fly nuts and clamps suitable for 1100 volts grade LT electric lines complete all as specified and directed.

S & F PVC (moulded polypropylene) line phase separator (for separating 4 Nos. of over head line conductors) of suitable length with 25 mm fly nuts and clamps suitable for 1100 volts grade LT electric lines complete all as specified and directed.

S & F PVC (moulded polypropylene) line phase separator (for separating 3 Nos. of over head line conductors) of suitable length with 25 mm fly nuts and clamps suitable for 1100 volts grade LT electric lines complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of Tree fallen on HT/LT overhead lines by cutting branches,bushes by electric cutter or manual and lifted by crane /Hydra/Manually including collection and depositing the retrieved timber at a place as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Lopping / prooning of tree branches upto the extend to obtain clearance all around the LT over head lines / HT over head lines conductor upto 3 meters from furthest conductor on pole including removing of cut branches and cleaning of site complete all as specified and directed.

Opening the binding wire from pin / shackle insulator on steel pole of any height for re-stretching the ACSR conductor, after re-stretching without kinks & bends, binding the pin / shackle insulator with appropriate size of aluminium binding wire complete all specified and directed. NOTE- Cost of binding wire deemed to be included in the quoted rate, No extra amount will be paid. One RM length will be measured for 03 phase and one neutral one street light and one earth wire.

Disconnection of electric connection from LT Panel of any size dressing of cable including replacement of burnt out aluminium lugs and fixing with new lugs, nuts bolt etc complete including all inter connection with aluminium strip of size not less than 0.6Mx0.03Mx6MM 1100 volts grade and suitable current rating including painting of Panels complete with inner & outer with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of primer including excavation & earth work required for taking out & refixing the incoming and out going cable etc complete all as directed by Engr -in Charge; Note :-Replacement of unserviceable accessories parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevent items.

S & F in replacement MCCB 415 Volts 4 pole 400 Ampere 50 Hz 50 KA of existing make model and type alonwith spreader terminal with adjustable thermal setting including lugs/thimbles of suitable size in existing panels complete all as specified and directed. Make of MCCBs - L&T/Legrand /Havells.

S & F in replacement of following unserviceable parts of LT Panels complete all as specfied and directed:-

(a) MCCB 250 Ampere 36 KA 4 pole adjustable type 415 Volts 50 Hz

(b) MCCB 200 Ampere 36 KA 4 pole adjustable type 415 Volts 50 Hz

(c) MCCB 125 Ampere 25 KA 4 pole adjustable type 415 Volts 50 Hz

(d) MCCB 63 Ampere 16 KA 4 pole 415 Volts 50 Hz

(e) Aluminium bus bar 600 Ampere with colour code & porcelain insulator complete suitable for 3 phase 4 wire system of length not less than 1 Metre.

(f) Phase Indicator lamp RYB .

S & F as in replacement rubber mat of size 2.00 m x 1.00m x 12 mm thick at Electric Supply installations complete all as specified and directed.

S & F as in replacement 10 Sqmm twin core 1100 Volts grade heavy duty flat or circular PVC insulated aluminium stranded conductor cable served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed as in service connection from electric pole to Main Switch complete all as specified and directed.

S & F as in replacement 6 Sqmm twin core 1100 Volts grade heavy duty flat or circular PVC insulated aluminium stranded conductor cable served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed as in service connection from electric pole to Main Switch complete all as specified and directed.

NOTES :- (i) Complaints pertaining to LT External Electric Supply shall be resolved by the contractor immediatelly after getting complaints. In case of failure on the part of contractor to resolve to the complaints within stipulated time, a penalty of Rs 1000/- per day per complaint shall be imposed from the contractor. (ii) The contractor or his authorised representative shall report to the concerned JE E/M at 0900 hours dailly on all working days to receive order/instructions of the work. A register shall be maintained to record all orders & instructions and their complaints and is to be signed by the contractor/his representative and the Engineer-in-charge/JE E/M concerned. (iii) Work done register to be maintained by the contrator. A separate Docket complaints slip book shall maintained by the contractor to note the complaints/jobs and get it signed by the user after completion of work and submits to the JE-in-Charge. (iv) NOTE FOR ALL ITEMS:-Tenderers may note that amount as given on schedule of credit will be deducted from the total amount arrived at the time of Acceptance of tender.
