Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 5 km outside the periphery of the area cleared and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Dismantling bituminous road, including granular materials, manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 1 km lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge : 30 cm average depth. The disposed material to be levelled, neatly dressed and compacted with a vibratory roller.
Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) /manual means for all kinds of soil, including soft rock, in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, and all lifts, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. The disposed soil is to be levelled and neatly dressed using vibratory roller as per technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The item includes cost of all labour, transportation, manual and/or mechanical, machinery etc. involved in all operations as mentioned above.
Excavating, supplying and filling of available local earth (including royalty) by mechanical transport up to a lead of 7 km, spreading the same, grading using motor grader, also including ramming and watering of the earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, breaking clods, rolling each layer with vibratory roller of minimum 8 -10 tonnes, levelling and fine dressing, to the required camber, grade and slopes etc. complete. (The rate of the item includes excavating, transporting locally available earth up to a lead of 7 km and filling the same at the Runway strip, spreading and grading using motor grader for slope correction of the ground, and consolidating the same using vibratory roller of 8-10 tonnes capacity after water rolling)
Providing and laying rubble packing by doing extra excavation for a depth of 40 cm and packing the voids with granular sub-base material and consolidating with a vibratory roller etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supplying and filling with manufactured crusher sand under floors including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing etc. complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material conforming to specifications of Grade-I (size range 75 mm to 0.075 mm) having CBR Value-30, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Construction of dry lean cement concrete sub base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 40 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 13.5:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per specifications, cement content not to be less than 160 kg/cu.m., optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, for all leads & lifts, laid with a mechanical paver, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying plum concrete in layers using 40% stone soling of average size 300 mm (stone size 250 mm- 350 mm), and 60% plain cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 manufactured crusher sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 25 mm nominal size, using cement 320 kg/cu.m), as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG-30, including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler/pressure distributor at the rate of 0.35 kg/sq.m on the prepared concrete surface, after cleaning etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG-30, including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler/pressure distributor at the rate of 0.3 kg/sq.m on the prepared bituminous surface and granular/concrete surface, after cleaning etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
Providing and laying design mix of Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam (grading 2), 50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness, using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder of grade VG-30 @ minimum 4.5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime/cement filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of aggregate), prepared in Drum/Weigh batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 60-90 TPH capacity, transporting the hot mix to the work site by tippers, laying over a previously prepared surface (All cracks to be sealed properly with bitumen) with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment, and rolling with smooth-wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction, density and surface accuracy, etc. complete as per MORTH specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (The rate quoted is inclusive of all material, including rate of VG-30 and operation of all activities to complete this item)
Providing and laying Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading (grading 1), premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment, and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction, density and surface accuracy as per the approved the mix design, MORTH specifications and as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge: 40/50 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ minimum 5.2% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime/cement filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of Aggregate) prepared in Drum Type/Weigh Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 60-90 TPH capacity. (The rate quoted is inclusive of all material, including rate of VG-30 and operation of all activities to complete this item)
Supplying and laying longitudinally cut/ as whole 200 mm dia single-RCC hume pipes of NP2 class as cable ducts/drain including collars, jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar 1(cement): 2 (fine sand), encased all around in PCC 1:3:6, 150 mm thick including excavation, all centering and shuttering works, provision of pull through wires and end caps, tying the two halves of the pipe with GI wires, etc. complete as per specification and as directed by the engineer in charge
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)
Painting road surface marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of ail dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete: New work (Two or more coats)
Supplying and laying 120 GSM geotextiles along the full width and depth of the trenches for subsurface drain, the section area to be laid being 0.6 m x 0.70 m, as per the specification and drawings, with adjacent widths of the mat along the length and wrapping at the top, both to be overlapped by 30 cm, and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
Supplying and filling 40 mm to 12 mm broken stone aggregates of specified grading, along the length of the trenches, in layers of specified thickness etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge
