TANK CLEANING, SUNKEN FLOOR, REMOVING OF VEGETATION, REPLACEMENT OF BROKEN TANKS, PAINTING AND OTHER MISC WORKS UNDER INS VIRBAHU, INS SATAVAHANA AREA UNDER AGE B/R-I OF GE(NB) VISAKHAPATNAM

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc stacking the serviceable bricks after removing mortar and cleaning for re-use and disposal of debris and rubbish outside MD land as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Brick work with fly ash brick, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 using old size brick complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:6 and finished the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick in two coats (10mm+5mm each) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4, mixed with integral water proofing compound with weight of cement in top layer as per manufacturer's instructions and finished the surface even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. (Note : WPC shall be measured and paid separately against respective item).

M&L for 5mm thick rendering in CM 1:3 on any faces of concrete surfaces finished fair and even without using extra cement in ceiling/ chajja etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cleaning and degermination inside the PVC water storage loft tanks of capacity not exceeding 250 ltr of any description and in any position comprising the following seven stage cleaning and sterilization of water tanks through bacteriological treatment by using TERBAC G5/INCHLOR-5/NB-10, TERBAC G65/INOXI-60/NB-69 and ultra violet rays complete all as specified and as directed. (a) 1st stage: Drain out the water by using exit valve or with high capacity dewatering system or any other suitable method approved by Engr-in-Charge. (b) 2nd Stage: Cleaning all the algae formation inside the tank by using TERBAC G10/INCHLOR-5/NB-10, (a laboratory tested branded chemical) and scrubbing the walls of the tanks. (c) 3rd stage: Cleaning with fresh water by high speed jet pump with pressure of 5 PSI. (d) 4th stage Sterilization by using TERBAC G5/INCHLOR-5/NB-10, (a Laboratory certified branded halogen compound) for first bateria screening. (e) 5th stage: Cleaning the floor of the water tank by heavy duty industrial vaccum cleaner. (f) 6th stage: Sterilizing method by using ultra violet ray Ejector covering 360 degree with in the tank and kills all suspended bacteria for 2nd bacteria screening. (g) 7th Stage: Cleaning and sterilize the floor of the water tank by using laboratory certified branded strong oxidizing agend TERBAC G65/INOXI-60/NB-69 for third bacteria screening. Note:- (i) Test certificate of TERBAC G65/INOXI-60/NB-69 etc from Government Laboratory mentioning suitability for sterilization should be submitted to the Dept before using for Sterilization. (ii) Cleaning of tank shall only be carried by the authorised service provider of the material used. Necessary approval shall be obtained from GE before cleaning of the tanks, (iii) After cleaning of the tank necessary completion certificate confirming the completion of sterilization of water tank shall be issued by the service provider and a sticker shall be fixed on the tank duly mentioning the date of cleaning and name of site etc)
