M&L for Cleaning of Semi UG Sump of capacity 16 Lakh Gln after emptying the sump with help of Pump, removing all mud, waste etc complete, scrubbing the entire sump inside with wire brush, washing the entire sump from inside with water and subsequently with bleaching powder solution and painting inside with two coats of lime wash and writing date of cleaning with white paint after making a block of black paint complete all as specfied & directed.

Disconnecting and taking down the existing unserviceable non return valves of cast iron and supply installing and testing of heavy duty cast iron non return valve PN 1.6 confirming IS 5312-1 (2004) ISI marked along with two Nos of heavy duty flange 16 mm thick, 8 hole sluitable for 100 mm dia with all fixing accessories such as suitable size nut and bolts of 16 Nos, packing material of leather buffalo including cutting the existing water main of 100 mm dia for fixing the non return valve, welding jointing complete as per site requirement at Zero/first/second/third stage/IInd lift/15 Lakh Gallon of water supply installations complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for construction of brick masonary valve chamber of internal size 900mm x 900 mm x 900 mm with foundation of PCC 1:4:8 type D2,(unsing 40mm graded stone aggreagate) brick work with sub class B bricks built in cement mortar 1: 4 with 15 mm plastering both internal and external surfaces (externally 15cm below GL) and 75 mm thick floor in PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (unsing 40mm graded stone aggreagate) and finishing the floor surface even & smooth using extra cement including provision of MS sheet cover 5mm thick surrounded by MS angle iron of size 40 x 40 x 6mm frame work embeded in 50mm thick PCC coping of 1:3:6 type C-2(unsing 40mm graded stone aggreagate) and painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over red oxide primer on steel surface including earth work and excavation in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Fixing in repair valve pit chamber top cover of size 900x900 mm made with 2mm thick MS sheet with supporting MS angle iron frame made out of 40x40x6mm and painting with two coat of bitumen paint over a coat of red oxid primer and locking arrangment complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The Cost of connected civil works for fixing of valve chambers are deemed to be included in Quoted rates.

S&F in repair GI elbows/bend/unions/sockets/ tees/nipple with welding joint of 150mm water mains both ends for making leak proof between IInd lift to Stn HQ/SMT tank and any site of water supply installation all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair GI elbows/bend/unions/sockets/ tees/nipple with welding jointly of 100mm/80mm water mains both ends for making leak proof from Zero to IInd lift and or as per site requirement of water supply installation all as specified and directed. Notes for item No 33 and 34:- The cost of Fittings such as elbows/bend/unions/sockets/ tees/nipple etc shall be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor.

M & L for angle iron work for support of water pipeline by welding at scattered location complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for walling of square rubble uncoursed well bonded, bedded and solidity hearted built in cement motor 1:6 for support for pipe line complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Site of work is hilly terrain which is not approachable by road

M&L for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 ( using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling or mass concrete complete all as specified and directed

Cutting the existing floor/ roads for laying of GI pipe line and making good the distrubed surface with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm stone aggregate) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by grinding the old surface and preparation of old painted surface by cleaning, rubbing with gunny bags/ wire brush and washing the entire surface with water mixed with bleaching powder and applying two coats of weather proof exterior acrylic emulsion paint with silicon additives over a coat of primer (Ist quality) entire surface of existing OH tank on staging incl columns, beams, cross beams, beams above slab, exterior surface of tank. The rate quoted by the contractor included all scaffolding arrangement to carryout the work on exterior surface of OH Tank from GF to top of existing tanks of any height. The application of paint shall be done with the roller/spray only. The contractor shall arrange all safety belt and all other equipment like helmets etc and shall be fully responsible for the safety of the labours. The contractor is advised to visit the site and work out the requirement before quoting the rates. The rate also includes minor repairs required and nothing extra shall be claimed by the contractor. Note :- The work shall be got executed by authorised applicator as approved by AGE(I). The complete materilas required for the work shall be brought by the contractor and depostied with the Engineer- in -charge.The stage after prepartion of surface by complete removal, application of primer, application of first and second coat shall be approved by AGE(I).
