Annual Maintenance of GB towers (7Nos. 40M and 1No.60M) at Various places in Kurnool BA.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring and shuttering- all work upto plinth level:

Centring and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for:

Smooth finishing of the exposed surface of R.C.C. work with 6 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 fine sand).

Labour charges for marking the centre points at different levels on the tower and assistance for checking the verticality of tower and labour charges for tightening of nuts and bolts of all tower components like angles, flats, pipes and all dia tower bolts including cable ladder and climbing ladder etc., including arranging ropes, pullies, glouses, helmets for the labour engaged for the tower tightening work.The department at no cost responsible for the accidents, damages etc., if any occured during the execution of work. The work should be carried out as per the direction of the Engineer -in- charge. The agency shall take necessary insurance for workmen compensation and all risks coverage.

Labour charges for making tower members (Vertical ladder components such as safety rings, vertical flats and plat form railings etc.,) in good condition including cost of dismembering and making good at any height of Ground Based Tower and necessry alterations using welding machine / drilling machine etc., complete and fixing in same position with bolt & nuts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. (Rate includes transportation of welding machine / drilling machine to site).

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in build up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position with galvanized steel sections consisting of angles, flats, plates fabricated as per approved drawings in gratings, frames, raillings, cable trays, ladders, space frames and similar locations. The galvanizing shall be as per IS 4759 with average mass of zinc coating of 610 gm/Sqm (approximately 85 micron). The steel sections shall be of M.S grade 'A' as per IS 2062. Cost of galvanization is inclusive. The payment shall be made as per the standard structura steel tables for the bare steel sectional weights. All compete as directed by the Engineer -in-charge.

Supplying and fixing of galvanised high tension grip bolts and nuts of grade 5.6 and of required size minimum mass of galvanised coating not less than 610 gms per sqm on bolts and nuts and other fasteners etc., (Galvanisation shall be hot dipped as per IS : 1759 standard / Zinc galvanising should be conform to IS :13229-1991 or IS 209-1992.)

Providing and anchoring of 10 mm MS stay wire including necessary clamp arrangement for tightening and anchoring to the base plates at all floor levels etc. all complete as per directions of the Engineer in charge.

Note- The Department at no cost will be responsible for any accidents, damages etc if any occurred during Execution of the work . The Agency shall take all necessary safety measures, insurance for workmen Compensation and all risk coverage.
