Repair Work

Dismantaling of brick work /tile masonary or tile lining. (i) Dismantaling of dry brick work

Dismantling of existing road crust containing stone pitching or soiling. (50 mm to 150 mm thick).

Making 50 mm x 50 mm furrows Making 50 mm x 50 mm furrows 45 degree to the centre line of road and at one metre interval in the existing bituminous wearing coarse including sweeping and disposal of excavated material within 1000 meters lead complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications (Full surface area will be measured for payment.)

Compaction of earth work & Preparation of sub grade including loosening, leveling of earth 225mm thick top layer, rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to give level, camber, watering, rolling with road roller, compacting the bed to achieve minimum dry density as given in the Table 300-2 as per Technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications. (In case of link roads earth work to be done by villagers)

Relaying of recovered material obtained from dismantling of road crust as construction of granular sub-base by providing coarse graded matereal grading-II spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achive the desired density, complete as per technical clause 401 of MORT&H specifications.

Brick on End Edging Providing and laying of brick on end edging 6.83 cm wide, 11.11cm long and 22.86 high half brick deep including excavation, refilling and disposal of surplus earth up to 50 mtr complete as per Punjab PWD specifications.

Granular Sub-Base Construction of granular sub-base by providing material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MORD technical specifications

Water Bound Macadam Grading I Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of Grading I to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheeled roller 8- 10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming Water Bound Macadam Grading I , watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications. (without screening)

Water Bound Macadam Grading II Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of Grading II to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheeled roller 8- 10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying an brooming Water Bound Macadam Grading II, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications. (without screening)

Surface dressing Providing and laying surface dressing in single coat using crushed stone aggregates of specified size on a layer of bituminous binder VG-10 @ 1kg per sqm laid on prepared surface after cleaning the road surface and rolling with 8-10 tonne smooth wheeled steel roller complete as per technical clause 509 of MORT&H specifications.

Tack coat with Bitumen VG-10 Bulk Providing and applying tack coat with penetration grade bitumen VG- 10 using bitumen pressure distributor @ of 0.40 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface/granular surface treated with prime coat after cleaning the surface complete as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications

Providing and laying bituminous macadam 50mm to 75mm thick with Continuous type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @3.4%, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher Mechanical to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 504 of MORT&H specifications

NOTES : - I. The actual volume of the aggregate to be paid for shall be computed after deducting the specified percentage from the volume computed by stacks measurement as per MORT & H specifications (addendum to latest revision) for the purpose of secured advance." II. The final grading for the aggregates required for bitumenious macadam course Grading 2 for 75 mm / 50 mm thickness of each layer conforming to table 500-7 of M.O.R.T. & H specifications (addendum to latest rivision) shall be determined after getting the bitumenious macadam grading-2 designed from Punjab PWD, B&R Research Laboratory Patiala after obtaining 60 % of material. Open - graded premix Providing, laying and compaction of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness consisting of crushed stone agg regates of specified grading premixed in a continous type hot mix plant with bituminous binder VG-10 @ 1.46kg per sqm, carriage of mixed material to site of work and laid with paver finisher mechanically and rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades complete as per technical clause 510 of MORT&H specifications.

Seal coat Providing and laying of premix sand seal coat premixed in continous type hot mix plant using specified fine aggregates and penetration grade bitumen VG-10 @ 0.68kg per sqm, carriage of mixed material to site of work, laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall complete as per technical clause 511 of MORT&H specifications

Excavation in Soil (any type) using Hydraulic Excavator CK 90 Excavation with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, including all lift and combined lead up to 60 mtr.

Providing and making rumble strips 15-20mm high at centre, 250mm wide placed at 1m centre to centre over freshly laid bituminous layer by using close graded premix surfacing material type B at locations to control speed and marked with 100mm wide white strips of thermoplastic road marking paint. The close graded premix surfacing material type B shall conform to technical clause 512 and thermoplastic road marking paint shall conform to technical clause 803 to MORT&H specifications

First class burnt brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:5 in foundation and plinth

Providing and laying 80 mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking Paving blocks of M-40 grade machine made rubbder moulded smooth finish with strong vibratory process and approved size and design / shape laid in Ordinary Grey Colour and pattern over and including 40 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc, all complete as per directions of Engineer-in- Charge.

ix. c) Crushed Bajri of 11.2 mm size expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. d) Fine aggregates 4.75 mm below expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. e) A single definite percentage passing each sieve for mixed aggregates. f) Density of Bitumensious macadam (75 mm/ 50mm thick after compaction) shall be minimum 2.2 gms/C.C & nothing extra shall be payable if higher density is achieved at site.

Providing and laying factory made rubber moulded smooth finish cement concrete Kerb M-20 grade 250mm high with bottom width 165mm and top width 115mm made over strong vibratory table and fixing with cement mortar 1:2 as per MORT&H specifications

Construction of Side Drain 12"x12" Complete in all respects

Village Board Providing & fixing of Reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade village board of standard design fixing in position including painting and printing etc. complete as per PWD/MORT&H specifications

Reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade 200 meter stone of standard design as per IRC 26- 1967 fixing in position including painting and printing etc. complete as per technical clause 804 of MORT&H specifications

Cautionary sign board 600x600x600mm triangular as per IRC 67- 2012 with high intensity Microprismatic grade retro reflective Sheeting as per ASTM D 4956 – 09 and as per IRC 67 – 2012. fixed over 3mm thick aluminium Composite material (ACM) sheeting having aluminium skin thickness of 0.25 to 0.3 mm on both sided and fixing the same with suitable size aluminium alloy rivets @ 200 mm c/c to back support frame of 25x25x3mm angle iron supported on a square hollow steel section post 60x60x3.2mmmm conforming to IS 4923 without cost of definition plate firmly fixed to ground in foundation concrete M-25 of size 0.45x0.45x0.60m for vertical post complete as per clause 801 of MORT&H specifications. Supplier shall provide a warranty as per clause 6.9 of IRC 67-2012 for retro reflective sheeting & a certified copy of test reports from an independent test laboratory conforming to clause 6.7 of IRC 67-2012 .

Definition Plate 600x200mm rectangular as per as per IRC 67- 2012 with high intensity Microprismatic grade retro reflective Sheeting as per ASTM D 4956 – 09 and as per IRC 67 – 2012. specifications. Fixed over 3mm thick Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) sheeting having aluminium skin thickness of 0.25 to 0.3 mm on both sided and fixing the same with suitable size aluminium alloy rivets @ 200 mm c/c to back support frame welded with vertical post of sign board complete as per clause 801 of MORT&Hspecifications. Supplier shall provide a warranty as per clause 6.9 of IRC 67-2012 for retro reflective sheeting & a certified copy of test reports from an independent test laboratory conforming to clause 6.7 of IRC 67-2012 .

Supplying and fixing of single mould twin shank reflective road studs made out of poly carbonate/ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens or Glass Beeds capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values shall be as given in the detailed specifications and the product shall conform to ASTM D4280. The raised pavement marker shall also meet all the testing conditions of ASTM D4280 and fixed to the road surface using the adhesive. Two cylindrical Polymer Shanks of not less than 20 mm diameter and not less than 30 mm length shall be molded in the RPM body. The marker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The marker shall withstand flexural strength of 909 kgf force in accordance with ASTM D4280. Marker lenses shall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methyl methecrylate conforming to ASTM D788. The supplier shall provide a 2 years warranty for satisfactory field performance as per clause 804.7.3 of MORT&H 5th revision specifications.

Road Marking with hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorizing glass beads @ 0.25kg per Sqm area as per IRC: 35-1997 complete as per technical clause 803 of MORT&H Specifications. (10 cm wide edge line on Curve & Junction only and Zebra crossing at Education Institutions, Hospitals etc.)
