Soft Water Palnt: Supply, Installation, testing and Commissioning of Soft Water

Palnt, having following Technical Parameters:

Raw Water Total Hardness: 600 - 700 PPM. Plant Requirement: <150 PPM

A. Multi Grde Filter: FRP Vessle, having Diameter 24" and Height 72". The

Media Qty. must be equal to or more than 450 kg. The required system pressure

sholud be 3.5 - 4.0 kg/cm2

B. Softener: FRP Vessle, having Diameter 24" and Height 72", having Multi-Port

Valve Facility with Manual operation system for Product, Regenaration, back-

wash and other required facility. The qty. of Resin must be equal to or more than

1 MR 450 Litrs. The OBR ( Output between Regeneration ) must be 40,000 Litres, with 1.0 Job 700000.00 Rupees Seven Lakh Only

a required system pressure of 3.5 - 4.0 kg/cm2

C. Salt Tank with Agitator: PVC Tank of Double Layer, having a capacity of

be supplied, with all necessary instructions of usage.

Softener Storage Tank: SITC of PVC Double-Layer Tank, having a Vertical

Rupees Fifteen Thousand

Piping with necessary Valves: The Piping from Raw Water Tank / Inlet of Raw

Water to the Softener Storage tank with HDPE Pipe lines should be provided. All Rupees Twenty Thousand

necessary Valves for Product, Drainage upto Room Drain and By-pass facility ( In Only

case of Plant failure )must be provided.

Liquid Level Controller: The System must work on LLC ( Liquid Level Controller

Operation and Maintenance after completion of One Year Defect Liability period:

The Maintenance of Soft Water Plant must be as per the guidelines of Plant

Manufacturer. (Guideline-Industrial water softener plant maintenance requires

regular monitoring of salt levels (weekly/monthly), inspecting for salt bridges and

cleaning the brine tank (every 3-6 months) to ensure optimal ion exchange

efficiency. Key tasks include testing water hardness regularly, cleaning or

replacing resin beds as per Requirement and professional annual service to

prevent scaling and ensure long-term, efficient operation.

Ensure the brine tank is at least half full; refill with high-quality salt to avoid

bridging. Procurement of High Quality Salt Should Be in the scope of Agency.

Check for hardened salt crusts in the brine tank and break them up to ensure

proper brine draw, Test water hardness at the outlet to ensure the system is

operating efficiently. Check pipes, valves, and tanks for corrosion or leaks. If

installed, replace pre-filters every 3-6 months to prevent sediment buildup. Clean

the tank every 3-6 months (or annually) by removing, scrubbing, and rinsing to

remove sludge and sediment. Use a specialized resin cleaner every 6-12 months

to remove iron, manganese, and sediment buildup that reduces efficiency. Clean

or replace the injector and venturi system to maintain proper suction for brine

drawing. Perform a professional service annually to inspect control valves, seals,

and recalibrate settings.)The Media inside Multi-Grade Filter must be washed /

replaced in case of lesser water flow and Higher System Pressure. The Resins

inside the Softener must be replaced after every 2 Years of operation. The

Monoblock Pump-sets shold be serviced after every 6 months operation. For 1st
