Replacement of Existing Granite Flooring in New Terminal Building at Tirupati Airport

A. CIVIL WORKS Dismantling stone slab flooring laid in cement mortar including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level: 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 10 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and fixing stainless steel (Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-incharge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).

Providing and laying 18 mm thick factory cut mirror polished (pre-polished) superior granite stone tile in flooring in required design and patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building, all complete as per the drawings with tile of size 900mm x 900mm or approved size, shade, color and texture by EIC. The tiles shall be supplied to site in packed condition in wooden boxes and laid in approved design and pattern over 15mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) followed by laying, fixing stone adhesive of category C2 TE (minimum) in compliance with ISO 13007-1 EN 12004/12002 with average 6mm thickness and jointed with 3 mm width, using epoxy grout mix of 0.70 kg of organic coated filler of desired shade (0.10 kg of hardener and 0.20 kg of resin per kg), including making provisions of expansion joints, rubbing and curing etc. complete at all levels (as per sample available at AAI offices at Tirupati/Delhi and approved by the Engineer-in-charge). The bottom surface and four sides of the granite stone shall be treated before laying with two or more coats of water proof penetrating shield treatment by Tenax Anti Efflorescene / MYKLATICRETE: 190 Sealer OR Approved equivalent with Minimum three years warranty. The top surface of the granite stone shall be treated with two or more coats of stain proof penetrating shield treatment on the top surface of granite floor surface by Tenax AGER / MYKLATICRETE: MaxiSeal OR Approved equivalent with minimum three years which includes initial one dense coat during execution and subsequent one or more coats as per direction EIC at completion stage. The treatment shall be carried out as per manufacturer's recommendation including final buffing, cleaning etc at final stage of building work. (Please note:- The contractor should give the guarantee bond of treatment for minimum 3 years) Shade: Moon White / Ice White / White Galaxy / Biscotti White or approved shade as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: (i) The process includes cost of granite stone tile including cutting& wastage due to design and patterns in linear as well as curvilinear pattern as per architectural drawings,Pre- polishing, laying with mortar, drying, adhesive, fixing, grouting joints with epoxy grout, spacers treatment with water Proof Penetrating Shield Treatment, treating top surface with stain Proof Penetrating Shield etc.complete. (ii) At site no cutting/grinding of granite tile is permitted. Edges of the slabs shall be true, square and free from chippings and the surface shall be true and plane otherwise tile shall be rejected and nothing extra shall be payable.

Providing and laying 18 mm thick gang saw cut mirror polished ( prepolished) superior granite stone in risers, steps, skirting, dado, wall cladding, column cladding etc. machine cut in required size, with all four edges 1/4 chamfered and mirror polished, approved shades, colour, texture laid over 15mm thick base cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand followed by laying and fixing with stone adhesive of category C2 TE (minimum) in compliance with ISO 13007-1 EN 12004/12002 with average 6mm thickness including rubbing and curing etc. complete at all levels.(as per sample available at AAI offices at Tirupati/Delhi and approved by the Engineer-in-charge) Note :- The process includes cost of granite stone (cutting, wastage, Pre- polishing, laying with mortar, drying, fixing with stone adhesive, treatment with Water Proof Penetrating Shield Treatment, treating top surface with stain Proof Penetrating Shield etc.complete.

Extra for providing opening of required size & shape in marble/ granite work including necessary holes etc. including moulding, rubbing & polishing of cut edges etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in charge, Area of the opening: up to 0.10 Sqm

Supply and installation of Stainless Steel 316 Grade studs 35 mm Dia x 25 mm Dia x 4.5 mm Thickness suitable for positional tiles (36 no's per sq.ft) of Anti Skid nature with stem for Tactile Flooring as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and installation of Stainless Steel 316 Grade studs 280 mm x 35 mm x 4.5 mm Thickness suitable for linear directional tiles (4 No's per sq.ft) of Anti Skid nature with stem for Tactile Flooring as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Removal of Partition glass including shifting & stacking at site store for re-use, complete all as per the direction of Engineer In-charge.

Installation / Fixing of available partition glass including transportation to the work place from site store complete alll as per the direction of Engineer In-charge.

ELECTTRICAL WORKS Design, manufacturing, supply and installation of pre-galvalized floor raceways made from 2.0mm thick G.I. sheet in following size for industrial power outlet wiring, tele, data, etc complete with suitable knockouts, junction box, tap off points, reducer, 3mm thick removable top cover and cable holding arrangement : 300x38mm-3 compartment

Design, manufacturing, supply and installation of pre-galvalized floor raceways made from 2.0mm thick G.I. sheet in following size for industrial power outlet wiring, tele, data, etc complete with suitable knockouts, junction box, tap off points, reducer, 3mm thick removable top cover and cable holding arrangement : 225x38mm-3 compartment

Design, manufacturing, supply and installation of pre-galvalized floor raceways made from 2.0mm thick G.I. sheet in following size for industrial power outlet wiring, tele, data, etc complete with suitable knockouts, junction box, tap off points, reducer, 3mm thick removable top cover and cable holding arrangement : 150x38mm-1 compartment

Wiring for circuit/ submain wiring alongwith earth wire with the following sizes of FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in surface/ recessed steel conduit as required. 2X 2.5 sq. mm + 1 X 2.5 sq. mm earth wire
