Manning & Operation of substation with 1No. DG set 400kVA (make Crompton Greaves) by providing 01 (one) skilled FGM, in 03 (three) shifts of 8hours each (round the clock 24hrs) x3 shifts = 3 FGMs on all days including Sundays and holidays for 27 MMPU complete all as specified, detailed hereinafter and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge .
Notes for serial item Nos. 1.00 to 6.00: (i) The timings for each shift shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-charge. No claim whatsoever on this aspect is admissible (ii) The minimum wages as derived by the Department including all statutory provision such as EPF, ESIC, Bonus, GST, etc. as applicable except the Contractor's profit for skilled FGM/ person works out to Rs. 765/-per person per shift (iii) Bidder has to upload an signed undertaking in firm's letter head confirming that he has not quoted his rates lower than the derived minimum rates of the Department. Bids not accompanied with such undertaking shall not qualify for opening of the price bids. As applicable, his tender will be treated as 'NON BONAFIDE' if found at any stage and will not be considered for acceptance. In such case, the lowest tender shall be determined by the lowest amount amongst valid / bonafide bids only
Notes for serial item Nos. 1.00 to 6.00 contd: (iv) However increased minimum fair wages as notified time to time by the Government of India / State Government / Labour Regulations whichever is higher including all statutory provisions such as EPF, ESI, Bonus, taxes, etc. as applicable, irrespective of derived minimum wages as above (v) Increased wages including all other benefits in compliance of statutory provisions shall be paid to the workers by the Contractor. No other claim whatsoever shall be admissible on this account and the bidders shall note this aspect and quote their rates accordingly. It must be noted that in compliance of all statutory provisions, the increase shall be passed over to the workers (vi) Rates quoted by the bidder shall be deemed to be inclusive of any extra manpower required (if any) for relieving, replacement, etc. and all stipulations as per tender documents (vii) The operator placed shall be responsible to attend complaints concerned to the location/s as directed (viii) Conveyance/vehicle for moving around of the staff employed and or any T&P required and detailed specifics as per particular specifications shall be provided by the Contractor. (ix) A penalty of Rs. 500/- per complaint shall be imposed on non-attending of such complaints as directed. Such penalties shall be recovered immediately from corrosponding RARs/FB of the Contractor.
PART-II (REPAIRS & OTHER WORKS)
Surface excavation not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep in soft / loose soil and getting out including taking out roots, shrubs etc, complete all as specified and as directed
Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundations, manholes, etc. or for laying cables/pipes, erecting poles, etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed
Returning, filling in, including, spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm deep as in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed
Removing excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point in any type of soil including spreading in low lying area and leveling complete all as specified and as directed
Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exceeding 0.5cum, returning, filling in, getting out in soft / loose soil and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as specified and as directed
Supply and laying burnt bricks of sub-class 'B' designation 75 laid in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed
M&L for fine dry river sand cushioning by laying 8cm thick layer below the cable for making soft bed and 15cm above the cable and then punning down to its consolidated thickness of 18cm after the cable is laid all as specified in SSR Part-I complete all as specified and as directed Note: Only punned thickness of sand shall be considered for measurement purposes
M&L for removing vegetation of any type, including roots from surrounding areas of sub-stations, etc. by manually digging carefully and levelling the disturbed surfaces and spraying with and inlcuding Herbicide chemical (GLYPHOSATE 41% SL) with spray machines to stop further vegetation growth with all required tools / machineries, etc. complete all as specified and as directed
M&L for taking out 40/20mm graded stone agregates from inside of substation / fenced areas, screenig, cleaning with water and re-spreading and levelling in same areas to required thickness complete all as specified and as directed
Supplying and spreading 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates, levelling in layers not exceeding 150mm thick around transformers / LT panels, etc. at sub-stations / installations complete all as specified and as directed
Supplying and spreading 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates, levelling in layers not exceeding 150mm thick around transformers / LT panels, etc. at sub-stations / installations complete all as specified and as directed
M&L for hard core of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, using broken stone or boulders complete all as specified and as directed
M&L for dismantling and disposing off existing unserviceable earthing at any location and in any position complete all as specified and as directed
M&L for dismantling rusted / damaged fencing of any size / type from any height and disposing off complete all as specified and as directed
Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified and as directed
S&F in repairs cable path indicator made out of MS sheet 3mm thick of size 300x250mm spot welded with angle iron of size 40x40x5mm thick 750mm long embeded in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 including painting with two coat of synthetic enamel black paint over a coat of red oxide primer and sign writing with white paint showing grade of HT/LT cable and size complete all as specified and as directed
Supply and lay / fix rubber matting chequered sheet of size 1.0x2.0m, 19mm thick, heavy duty, conforming to relevant IS, electric shock proof suitable for 11kV complete all as specified and as directed
Supply, erect in position and fixing steel tubular swaged poles with CI base plate (300x300mm and 6mm thick), finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws type 410 SP-31, 9m long with detachable bracket arms including two coats of silver paint over shop coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed
S&F factory fabricated feeder pillar box cubical type, powder coated, of size 900x900x900mm suitable of 3 phase 415V outdoor type fabricated out of 3.15mm thick MS sheet and 40x40x6 angle iron frame, with suitable 1100V aluminium busbar 4Nos. for 3 phase system, front & rear openable type, PVC sleeves (coloured red, yellow, blue and black) with suitable locking arrangments and four legged angle iron stand made of angle iron of size 40x40x6mm duly grouted in and including foundation in PCC 1:2:4, 500mm in depth, type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates alongwith all necesary cable connections, lugs and cable glands including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (of approved tint) over a coat of red oxide zinc chrom primer (on exposed surfaces of legs) provisioning of cable glands incoming 1No. and outgoing 1No. and taking down and disposing off old feeder boxes complete all as specified and as directed
M&L for hand rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts, posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc. flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh, etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc. and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed
S&F MS XPM (expanded metal), not exceeding 4kg/sqm, cut to length, bent to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or fixing with galvanised steel staples supplied and fixed to wood or steel members complete all as specified and as directed
M&L for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 (type D-2) using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed

S&F in repairs thermoplastic cable junction box with 02Nos. PVC gland, weather proof, IP 66/67 protection class, for outdoor installation with knock outs for cable entry of size 300x250x200mm hinged type with 4Nos aluminium bus bar of size 25x6mm and 8Nos. terminals with all required nuts, bolts, mounted on bus bars and connecting up with existing cable and duly fixed with MS clamps made out of FI 40x3mm thick with nuts & bolts as required complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for bore earthing by making bore 20 feet deep and 150mm dia manually with help of augar (Boki) including provisioning of 40mm dia medium grade perforated GI pipe bolted with GI strip 32x6mm from bottom of pipe upto test point, filling around pipe with 6 inch dia & 150mm thick alternate layers of charcoal dust & salt, with funnel and wire mesh, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 in chambers, RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 in pit cover reinforced with 8mm dia deformed bars @ 150mm c/c both ways including necessary excavation & earthwork, all as shown in electric plate No. 3 of MES Sch Part-I of 2009, PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5m away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering complete all as specified and as directed
Notes for serial item Nos. 46 & 47: (i) The cost of copper / GI earth continuity wire with GI pipe 50mm medium grade upto 7.5m is deemed to be included (ii) The earth chamber to be constructed 0.5m from edge of earth pit with necessary watering arrangement. The cost for the same is deemed to be included in above item (iii) Earthing shall produce desired earth resistance values as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
