SYSTEMATIC RAILWAY TRACK MAINTENANCE FOR STRETCH OF RAILWAY TRACK FROM ONGC BRANCH TO MIHK INDUSTRY RAILWAY SIDING

Hazira Depot is spread over 45 acre, having total storage capacity of 23.280 TKL with operational facilities including Pipeline Transfer, Tank wagon unloading and Tank lorry loading. The primary mode of product receipt at Hazira Depot is by rake, hence we took a branch from existing KRIBHCO/ONGC track to OMC Siding. This portion of OMC Siding is commissioned in 1998. For safety of rail movement regular track maintenance is required. Baroda Railway Division, S.S.E. Officer (P Way), Utran (Surat) has inspected OMC Siding Railway Track on 22 nd Aug 2023 and issued inspection letter. As per Inspection Report, S.S.E. Officer has advised to carry out regular maintenance of the railway track. Since this is a specialized nature of job to be carried out by technical & competent railway vendors who does railway track maintenance work as mentioned in qualification criteria of scope of work of tender (Annexure-II), we request TEC Committee to give us approval to float the tender.
