Design and construction of 1300 KL capacity, 21 m staging RCC intz type Over Head Tank with suitable foundation Considering Seismic forces, including supply of all materials, labour, T&P etc. as required for proper completion of work and submission of detailed design / drawings before starting of the work. (The bearing capacity of soil is 8 T/Sqm. at 2.50m depth from firm GL). The earthquake resistant design must be in conformity with IS:456, IS:1893, IS:13932,IS:13920 & IS 3370 (2009) (latest versions). RCC work for water retaining portion should be not less than M30 (design mix ).The work also include :-
One meter wide balcony around the tank at the middle ring beam (Junction of conical wall and containers vertical wall).
One meter wide RCC two columns stair case as an access to the top dome of the tank from ground level.
60cm, wide M.S. ladder from top dome to the inside of the tank upto bottom dome of 65x65x6 mm angle iron and 20mm dia plain M.S. bars @ 25cm. C/C welded or riveted with suitable hand rail etc.
1200mm dia ventilator of 50x50x6mm angle iron fitted at the crown of top dome with mosquito proof wire mesh over expanded metal jali.
600x600mm M.S. manhole cover of 5mm thick M.S. plate duly hinged with 50x50x5mm angle iron frame embedded in the top dome at appropriate place with locking arrangement shall be provided with overlap.
Three rows of G.I. (medium) 20mm dia pipe railing with 50x50x6mm angle iron post of clear height 1.00 m at a distance of 1.50m center to center around the balcony, top dome and along the stair case from ground level to top dome.
Water level indicator electronic type as per direction of engineer I/C (confirming to latest IS code.)
Lightening conductor arrangements including earthing as per latest I.S. code.
Fixing of inlet, outlet, washing and over flow pipes and their sluice valves, duck foot bends etc. from 150mm to 300mm dia including all materials, necessarily required for jointing and erecting. The limits of pipe fixing shall be from dome of the tank to one meter outside the apron of the tank. Overflow pipe shall be vertical type at required position or otherwise specified. Also, construction of inlet, outlet & washout/over flow chambers and their RCC covers as per departmental type design.
Clamping the vertical pipe with M.S. clamps of size 50x6mm at 1.50M C/C.
Filling the tank as many times as required with water and testing for water tightness and making it water tight, water for testing the tank shall be arranged by the contractor.
Painting the outlet inlet, washout and over flow pipe with one coat of oxide primer and two coats of paint of approved quality (Asian, Berger, Nerolac etc.) and shade.
Painting the entire tank with three coats of (including base coat) exterior weather coat Apex or equivalent of Asian, Berger, Nerolac etc. of approved quality and shade as per direction of the Engineer-In-charge.
Painting the balcony and staircase railing and M.S. Manhole cover, ventilator angle iron posts with one coat of oxide primer and two coats of paint of approved quality (Asian, Berger, Nerolac etc.) and shade.
Filling of earth, ramming and watering the earth upto the plinth level which will be about 0.30m above from natural ground level for constructing floor & apron projecting one meter form the tank columns and drain outside. The apron shall be 25mm PCC 1:2:4 over 80mm thick PCC 1:6:12 at floor of the tank with suitable glass strips with brick masonary walls in 1:6 cement sand mortar required to raise ground level to plinth level including all materials etc. The area beyond overhead tank inside the premises will be covered by paver blocks as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 meters lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)
Cutting road surface for sewer line trenches. Including stacking of serviceable material (i.e. stone ballast that will be reused in the laying of WBM) at site and disposal of unserviceable material to suitable disposal point beyond municipal limit as directed by Engineer in charge

Reinstatement of cement concrete pavement and making good condition by providing cement concrete including form work, compaction & curing, etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

1:3:6 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 stone aggregate) cement concrete.
Excavation in soil mixed with single boulders etc. requiring the use of specials T&P for foundation including lift up to 1.5M and lead up to 30 m filling watering and ramming of excavated the earth in to the trenches or into the between foundation..
