N.B.:- For any use of electrical machinery/tools during above works at any site by the contractor/ worker thye must

obtain the N.O.C. from the Engineer- In -Charge prior electrical conenction for such work & arrangement for

necessary extension of point and making good after completion of job.

Special Terms & Conditions for ARC 2025-26

1 The estimated cost shown in the tender notice will work as rough guidelines.

2 The amount of work executed shall depend on the availability of funds.

3 The amount of work shown in the tender notice may increase and decrease to any extent as per the directives of

authorities of authorities, availability of funds and emergency.

4 All conditions and technical specifications (as per R & B Handbook) shall be strictly adhered to and contractor

found violating the same in spite of drawing his attention shall be immediately removed from work.

5 All the debries will have to be deposited and spreaded within the campus or outside the campus as per

instruction of engineer in charge.

6 Quantity is on unit based, quantum of works is not obligatory. The work is to be carried at any building of the

university in Vadodara, Samiala and Padra.

7 No price-escalation of any kind under any circumstances will be entertained under nay stage of work.

8 All the released material from any site of work shall have to be deposited to construction division store by the

contractor for which no extra payment will be made.

9 The contractor will have to report all working days at 10.00 am. at chamelibaug, maintenance office to collect

the work order instructions, etc.

10 On completion of work the site shall be cleared immediately.

11 Contractor shall have to depute experience engineer at the site of work or he himself shall have to remain

present throughout the period of work in progress.

12 Contractor shall not replace/add/ take away any material from the site of work without permission of engineer

13 Contractor shall have to obtain necessary labour licence, insurance, etc. as per the requirement for the said

work and submit the same before starting the work.

14 Contractor has to arrange necessary scaffolding materials, safety equipments to workers, etc. for the work to be

carried out at greater heights.

15 The contractor shall follow-up and submit the progress report of work and also submit the completion of work.

16 Incase of dispute the order of Vice-Chancellor will be final and binding to all.

17 The items other than the said tender required to be executed then these items will be executed and paid as per

approved rates of ARC’s 2025-26

18 No subletting of any kind under any circumstances will be entertained under any stage of work.
