Surface excavation not exc 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed

M & L for rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with power roller exc 8 tonne and n exc 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for soling (or sub base) 150mm thick (spread thickness) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surfaces formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber using power roller 8 to 12 ton capacity including watering complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 10cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, in one layer withlime stone, sand stone. Flint or quartzite aggregates of grading 1 (90 to 40mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required using power roller exceeding 8 tonne but not exceeding 12 tonne complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bitumen primer @ 10 kg/10 Sqm (paving bitumen grade VG-10) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying bituminious premixed carpet 40 mm thick consolidated thickness,with 0.54 cum of stone chippings mixed with 29.20 kg of binder rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed

M & L for liquid seal coat with binder @ 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm (paving bitumen) blinding with 6.3mm size stone chippings @ 0.09 Cum per 10 Sqm rolled and compacted with exceeding 8 ton but not exceeding 12 ton power roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus spoil to a distance exc 50m but not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for continuous brick edging with width equal to width of brick laid dry on end vertically with burnt clay bricks of old size sub class 'B' bricks complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5 m deep for foundation etc or for shaft, well, cesspits, manhole pier holes etc not exc 10 sqm on plan and not exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) nominal mix type C-2 using 40 mm graded aggregate as in surface channel and drain complete all as specified and directed

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including form, mound, mitred/stopped end etc complete all as specified and directed

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates shall deemed to include the cost of form work shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
