Corrosion Monitoring & CP System Monitoring and Preventive Maintenance of CPPSM/TRU -Monthly • Measurement, observation, recording and reporting of operating parameters of TR unit, alarms, feeding & draining potentials, energy meter & hour meter readings etc. • Checking of control cards, panel meters, switches, earthing connections, power supply, cable lugs, terminal plates etc. • Cleaning of TR unit, CP room and surroundings using vacuum cleaner. • An annual performance test and yearly maintenance of the TR units ( Nos. of Total TRU : 17 ) shall be performed through the authorized service engineer as approved by EIC during the 3rd quarter of each year. No separate payment shall be made against this item. • The performance test and maintenance shall include, Performance of the unit on Auto and Manual modes, No load and Full load test, Meter Calibration, Converter module calibration, PSP Control Module Calibration, Indicator checks, Circuit resistance across Anode and Pipe, Checking of Permanent reference cell etc. and submission of final report about the health of the Unit with modifications and repairing required to be carried out.

PSP Monitoring and Maintenance at TLP (Test Lead Points)- Quarterly • Measurement, observation, recording and reporting of ON and OFF Pipe to Soil Potential (PSP) carrier pipe, casing, protected & unprotected sides of insulation joint/flange, foreign pipelines, anode potential, anode current wherever anodes are installed, current readings in CJB using standard Cu/CuSO4 reference cell and data logger at all test stations. • Checking and cleaning of spark gap arrestors across IJ/IF, surge diverters etc. installed. • Checking of cable lugs, ferrules, terminal plate, nut & bolts and maintaining them in good condition and replacement of same if found faulty. • Cleaning of test stations with brush and duster cloth and lubrication of test station door hinges and locks with grease or oil. • Clearing of 20 m wide ROU strip by cutting & uprooting of trees, bushes and shrubs etc.in 2 (two) metre length on each side of TLP. • Based on the monitoring, the contractor shall give clear cut detailed recommendations establishing reason to mitigate the defects or to maintain PSP within limit. • The contractor shall check positive potential swing of 100mV or more which shall indicate presence of interference situation.

SV Stations Actual run of DG set (30KVA) on monthly basis on existing maximum load of each 6 nos. of SV stations located at six different locations for 1 hr. which also includes checking of overall health of DG set for smooth running of DG set as and when required.
